Blood ThinnersThe following drugs contain aspirin or other products which can cause increased bleeding during surgery and surgical procedures. In most cases they should not be taken for 2 weeks prior to and 1 week after surgery.If pain relief is needed talk to your doctor about taking something for relief of minor pain, such as acetaminophen, which is found in Tylenol, Datril, Anacin-3, and Panadol. It is not a blood thinner.
