AskDocWeb: The directions say to consult with your doctor if hair fall continues beyond two weeks.
What is the benifit
If hair fall continue after stops using minoxidil then what is the benifit for using this product so that hair growth only for some months..
AskDocWeb: The benefit appears to be more for the company that makes it than for you. It seems like the intention is to have you use the product year after year. That way they make more money.

30 year old female
My doctor recommend me mx10% lotion is it helpful I am 30 yrs female do I need to use it for life long?
AskDocWeb: As you may know the active ingredient in MX 10% is minioxidil. It is sold in different strength formulas; 2%, 5%, 10%, etc. and the stronger the formula the greater the possibility of side effects such as the growth of unwanted facial and body hair. In our country (USA) the 2% formula is often recommended for women and the 5% formula for men. Many women who use the 5% formula report the growth of unwanted facial hair and because of that, the 5% formula is not recommended for women. Although the 10% formula is sold in some countries it is still concidered experimental here and is not recommended for use by women.
Hi sir, I am applying q sera serum and minioxidil but my scalp is itching what does it mean?
AskDocWeb: Scalp itch is just one of the possibile side effects of Minoxidil.

Hi, I was used Minoxidil 10% from 8 month after that my Dr. suggest to use kairfoll and Angel professional hair tonic but my hair falling again start like before 9 month what can i do for it. again start minoxidil or continue with kairfoll and Angel hair tonic?
AskDocWeb: If minoxidil works for you then you need to know that the hair growth effect is not permanent. If you stop using it you lose thatever gain you received from its use within a few months. If you want to keep the benefits you have to continue the twice daily applications.
Itching and burning
Hi sir, After using 5% minoxidil for 5 months every day once a day I am experiencing itching, and burning on my scalp and on my leg. is it side effected by using minoxidil?? . please give me an answer if you sure.
AskDocWeb: Although we doubt that the itching, and burning on your leg is caused by the minoxidil, you would need to have a doctor examine the skin condition to determine what is causing it.
Which brand of minoxidil works best and fastly?? Coverit 5% or Mintop forte 5%
AskDocWeb: If both products contain 5% minoxidil then we would expect the same results from each one.
What should I do
Hi.. I have been using mintop (Regaine 5%) for last 7 months. I have noticed considerable improvement in bald portion. But more recently for the past one month I have also noticed little chest pain beteen nipples. Does it mean that is it effecting my fertility health? What should I do To get rid of pain and any other possible side effects. Thank you.
AskDocWeb: Since the symptom may or may not be connected to the product, you would need to have a doctor evaluate your condition to determine what steps may need to be taken for treatment.
Sufering a lot of problem
I m a girl of 22 i am sufering alot problem of hairloss and itchy scalp so its ok to use hairbless solution and how to use it and for how long?
AskDocWeb: There are a lot of possible causes for those symptoms and before you decide on what treatment to use, you need to know the cause. For example, a fungal infection would require a different treatment than a bacterial infection, and neither of the treatments for those would work if you had a problem with your thyroid. So, step one is to get a medical examination to determine the cause of the problem.
