Bad stuff
Date: 8/27/2014
I have applied minoxidil twice a day for 2 days. Trying to avoid hair loss. This is a terrible product. I am lightheaded and have low blood pressure. My chest feels odd. This is 2nd day without that in my system. I am hoping to return to normal soon. This in my opinion is very bad stuff!

Thinning frontal area
Date: 9/6/2014
I am a male aged 62, who has a fairly good head of hair, still, thanks to Rogaine. It has indeed kept my scalp's greater crown area full, but seems lacking in helping the frontal area, where my hair has continued to thin and has recently shown very weak growth. Can anyone suggest what works best for the thinning frontal areas of men aged 60 and older?

Minoxidil weight gain?
Date: 9/10/2014
I got 1 session of prp done on my scalp and started taking 1 saw palmetto tablet in a day and apply tugain gel once in a day( as adviced by my doctor) Within 1 week of use i gained 3kgs of weight. I thought it is due to the tablet, i stopped taking it but continued applying tugain gel. For a few days weight was stable, bt aftr 1 week, i again started gaining weight and gained 2 kgs more. In around 18 days of my treatment, i have gained 5 kgs weight. Even hair fall has increased. I am worried. Should i stop applying minoxidal further?
Chinmay

AskDocWeb: Rapid weight gain is one of the more common possible side effects of using minoxidil. It is also one of the side effects that should be immediately reported to your doctor.
