Will Phetermine affect my thyroid blood tests? If so how long before blood work should I discontinue use?
AskDocWeb: Phentermine should not be taken those with an overactive thyroid. It is important to find out about thyroid problems before starting Phentermine.
Daily headaches and fatigue
I've been taking phentermine for about 8 weeks. At first I had so much energy and wasn't hungry. After getting a second prescription, I immediately began feeling tired and fatigued and require daily naps. It is still helping me control my eating, but I'm finding my appetite is a little stronger and I'm having daily headaches. This all started with the first dose of the second prescription. Could I have gotten weak pills this time around? Should I go ahead and take a break for awhile or wait until I no longer feel any affects of appetite suppression first?
AskDocWeb: Talk to your doctor before making any changes to your treatment plan. This is especially important for you because headaches are listed as one of the possible side effects that should be reported to your doctor.
CAN I TAKE EXCEDRIN?
Is it safe to take exception when taking phentermine? I do wake up with those tuff behind the eye headaches, thot it may be sinuses but after reading here, seems tobe a possible side effect. I think (as I read) those headaches will go away but for now CAN I TAKE EXCEDRIN? Thx
AskDocWeb: Headaches are listed as one of the possible side effects of Phentermine that should be reported to your doctor. In some cases Phentermine may need to be discontinued and in others Excedrin may be used. That depends on your personal situation as determined by your doctor.
Dosage and fast heart rate
is 30mg to high of a dose to take if your 95kg? and if you have a fast heart rate from taking phentermine is it normal?
AskDocWeb: Phentermine is not usually prescribed to those with a Body Mas Index under 30. Phentermine is known to cause a faster heart rate because it stimulates the nervous system much like amphetamines do.
