Phentermine hcl 37.2mgs . I've been on this med 2 weeks the first week was good for energy but I'm tired again an hungry would it benefit me to talk half in the mornin an half at lunch time? Is this still effective use? Thanks.
AskDocWeb: If you are taking a pill that has a grove across the center, that is intended to make breaking them in half easier. However, that does NOT mean you have permission to do that. Any change in your treatment plan should be discussed with your doctor first.
Will my birth control still work?
I just started taking phentermine... What has happened to me is I started my period, I'm on birth control and am not supposed to have my period for another 3 weeks. I'm also feeling sleepy all the time and get very irritated very easily... I don't know if this is a normal side affect I just want to make sure that my birth control will still work?
AskDocWeb: There are several reports that Phentermine caused changes in the menstrual cycle, anywhere from spotting to missed periods but it does not reduce the effectiveness of oral contraceptives.
SABA' ACE formula
I am inquiring about SABA' ACE formula and drug screens. If I am using this product, will I throw out a false positive for an illicit substance, or a positive for amphetamines?
AskDocWeb: The list of substances that have been documented to cause false positives on urine drug screens is located here.
Phentermine with DEPO shot?
I've been taking phentermine for 4yrs now on & off. I am currently sexually active and my doctor suggested getting the DEPO shot as a form of BC. Is is safe to take Phentermine & the DEPO shot? I also heard about bad side effects with the shot so I'm scared to get it. Please help!
AskDocWeb: We didn't find any drug interactions listed for those two drugs - however, this does not necessarily mean no interactions exist. ALWAYS consult with your pharmacist as a final check when getting your prescription filled. They have the most recent information about drug interactions.
While unwanted side effects are possible with any prescription medication, you doctor will evaluate the possible risks with the known benefits. In most cases that evaluation ensures your safety but mot in every case so you need to be aware of what may go wrong.
With the DEPO shot you need to get emergency medical help if you have any signs of an allergic reaction: hives, difficulty breathing, or swelling of your face, lips, tongue, or throat.
Call your doctor at once if you have any of the following serious side effects:
