No side effects but no benefits either
I have been on phentermine 15mg for 2 1/2wks now and have not seen any changes. My energy level is still the same as well as my appetite. I take it first thing in the morning and have my first meal an hour after. I have no side effects. I feel as if i am not even on this medication due to nothing happening. Do you think it would be to soon to ask for an increase in my medication? Since I know it's only for short term use, I would like to see some kind of results.
AskDocWeb: Most people start noticing benefits within days of beginning Phentermine not weeks. In this case it appears that your patience is not working in your favor.
I've been taking phentermine has worked really well. Lost 32lbs... If I take a cleansing tea with thus cut the effect if either product?
AskDocWeb: That depends on the ingredients of the tea and which herbs are used. You might check the individual herbs used in your tea with this list for possible problems.
Great weight loss results
I have took phentermine since September 2013. Today is June 2014 and i have lost 147 pounds. The medicine has worked great for me. I went froma size 26 to a 12. I am still getting results . I usually lose 11 pounds or more a month after all this time. I feel great!
Phentermine and Depo shot
I been taking phentermine for almost 4weeks and my weight went down to 156 - 142 pounds and very happy with the result.. And i was in depo shot for 3 months and scheduled again for shot this month. But i'm just concerned if i should get my depo shot again because i heard that it makes you gain weight and i don't want that to happen but at the same time i don't want to get pregnant...so should i still get depo shot? What do you guys suggests?
AskDocWeb: We haven't seen any drug interactions listed for using those two together however, we are limited to discussing the effectiveness and side effects here. For medical advice always consult with your local healthcare provider.
Horrible leg cramps
I am experiencing the same thing Cara. I have been on a couple rounds of Phentermine. (On 60 days then off 30 and then repeat) When I am taking the pills, I get horrible leg cramps, especially at night so painful that they wake me up and I have to get out of bed. I started looking into it and I believe they are caused by the fact that when I am taking them, I have no appetite so I am not eating enough foods to give me the potassium and other vitamins and minerals my body needs. I also find that I dehydrate because I don't drink enough water. And dehydration can cause muscle cramps. So I started drinking a glass of water before bed and taking a multi-vitamin. I'm hoping it helps!
I started taking duromine 2 days ago, I stopped today but I'm still experiencing a fast heart beat-palpatation. Is this a withdrawal effect or should I be concerned and seek medical attention?
AskDocWeb: Duromine is a phentermine-based weight-loss pill. A fast heart beat and palpitations are not listed as withdrawal effects. Those symptoms may be caused by the drug's effect on the central nervous system. As always, any symptom that becomes a concern should be discussed with your healthcare provider.
