Procerin Feedback - page 24If you've used Procerin, please help others by adding your feedback. What would you tell your best friend about this product? Please remember that we do not give medical advice. That is for your local health care provider, who is familiar with your medical history.Subj: Hair loss help Date: 11/7/2005 I am about to ask you for some much-needed help. See, I am now just turning 27 years old and my concern was hair loss and getting bald before 30's. I've tried Rogaine, Paul Mitchell, and other hair growth products but somehow it didn't work well for me. Can you help me? Say AskDocWeb: Sounds like you need to talk to a dermatologist. He may be able to tell you why you are loosing hair. If it is a simple vitamin deficiency you might be able to stop it with . If the dermatologist recommends Propecia (and most of them do), be sure to read this before you decide. The biggest problem with hair loss products is that it takes so long to see results, 3 to 6 months in most cases. If you find something that works for you, be sure to let us know so that we can share it here. Good luck. Subj: 3 weeks Date: 11/7/2005 Hello, Its been 3 weeks I have started taking procerin, and I don't think its working everything is same as before. My hair is thin as before. My age is 25 and I m losing my hair at a tremendous pace. Any suggestions about procerin not working, Tej AskDocWeb: You haven't used it long enough to know if it is working or not. Be patient, it takes 3-6 months to see some results. Subj: Fatty acids and cholesterol levels Date: 11/10/2005 You say that Procerin is made of several ingredients but one of the most present is saw pametto. I know that saw pametto is a fatty acid - is there any link between fatty acids and hdl or ldl levels? Do people with high cholesterol need to be concerned with taking procerin? Thank you. James AskDocWeb: That is one of the things we are researching. If you can add anything to this, please do so. Subj: Procerin updates Date: 11/11/2005 The latest updates on Procerin end back in April. Will you be reopening bearing in mind there is a new topical available? Paul AskDocWeb: Yes, there are new products coming on the market all the time. Let us know and we will check them out. Subj: A convert Date: 11/16/2005 After using Procerin for 90 days, I have dubbed this herbal pill my 'miracle drug.' I have noticed A LOT of growth in the past 90 days. It took about two months for the effects to be noticed but once noticed there were drastic (almost unbelievable) improvements. Not only have I noted a fuller head of hair, but my hair looks good when I go out or go to work. There is no obvious bald spot or thinning sections anymore. I have felt no obvious side effects when using this herbal remedy. I did notice that if I did not take the pills for a few days that hair increased its shedding. I have been taking 4 pills/day; 2 in the morning and 2 before bed. This seems to do the trick for me. I am eager to see how the next 3 months go. I think that 6 months with Procerin will produce nearly a perfectly full head of hair! For a guy that did not believe in herbal treatments, I am the definition of a convert. Thank you Procerin, thank you Speedwinds, and thank you Askdocweb.com for helping find, purchase, and believe in this magnificent product. Jason AskDocWeb: That's pretty lavish praise. Let's hope you aren't really expecting a perfect head of hair. That would be unrealistic with any hair loss product. Subj: Didn't work Date: 11/16/2005 I am 27 and am using it from last 6 months...it didn't help me at all. I wonder, does it really work? MJ AskDocWeb: It obviously doesn't work for everyone. If it hasn't begun to work by now, it is not likely to work for you. Subj: Hair loss product for women? Date: 11/19/2005 Can procerin be used by women; or what is comparable for women? Thelma AskDocWeb: Yes, we have feedback from some women who are using it successfully. Another product is Rogaine for women. It has about a 30% success rate so it might be worth trying. Subj: Procerin Provillus Date: 11/21/2005 What is the difference between Procerin and Provillus, and which one is better? Stephen AskDocWeb: We have a lot of positive feedback on Procerin but only a couple of comments on Provillus, not enough for a fair comparison. Subj: Procerin and liver Date: 11/24/2005 You've mentioned somewhere that in some users of Procerin something in the liver is stimulated. Is it harmful or will it cause any bad side effects. I just bought my procerin and trying to find out as much as I can before I start using it. Sha AskDocWeb: We are still collecting information on this but it seems to cause pain around that area in a small number of users. In those who discontinued for this reason, the pain stopped after discontinuing. Subj: Procerin study Date: 11/26/2005 Just a brief question regarding Procerin. I've been looking at the feedback from your study but was just curious whether individuals in the study were taking Procerin in just the pill form or a combination of both the pill and the topical solution. I'm a bit unsure of whether or not to purchase the pill alone or both products and would love to know what people in the past have been taking. Thanks very much. Michael AskDocWeb: All the men in our Procerin study were taking the pill. We have no feedback on their topical solution yet. Subj: Great website Date: 11/29/2005 Great Website!!! Thank you, Bach AskDocWeb: You're welcome. Subj: 42 year old Date: 12/5/2005 I have just ordered procerin and am waiting for delivery. I am 42, my hairline has receded by about 2 inches but the hair I actually have is in good condition, probably thicker and stronger than it was 20 years ago. I put this down to a good diet(efa's vitamins and minerals) plus daily head/shoulder stands. Is there any evidence-anecdotal or otherwise-that I am likely to have a better prognosis with procerin given the above? Have already taken one photo and will keep you updated. yours in hope! Andy AskDocWeb: There is not enough data to guess at your prognosis with procerin based on your diet and daily head/shoulder stands. Remember to keep your expectation real and good luck. Subj: Both good and bad Date: 12/6/2005 I've been using Procerin for just over 2 months now, and I've just recently been noticing some unsettling effects. A few hours after the morning dose (1 pill) my heart begins beating rapidly for a short period (half an hour or so) - it's similar to an adrenaline rush, but mildly unpleasant. At night, after taking the second dose (2 pills) I experience the same effects accompanied by a "racing mind" and the inability to calm down for sleep. Also, in the mornings and throughout the day, there seems to be a lack of circulation (tingling numbness) in my left hand (specifically along the outside edge) and occasionally in the right hand as well. I'm a 28 year old male in good physical condition. I exercise regularly, and have never noticed the circulatory affects that I seem to be experiencing now. I have no known allergies, but I was wondering if there are any ingredients in Procerin known to cause such affects. Aside from the above, the treatment has reduced the amount of hair I see falling out in the mornings, and has noticeably thickened my existing hair. J. AskDocWeb: The Siberian ginseng could be the cause of those problems. Others have reported the same and the manufacturer is discontinuing use of that herb. By the time you read this, Siberian ginseng will no longer be in the ingredients. Subj: Procerin plus VigRx? Date: 12/11/2005 I was wondering if procerin and vitrx could be taken together for hair growth and male enhancement? JJ AskDocWeb: If you do that, there is a possibility of some stomach upset, that can be minimized by taking them with meals. Subj: Hair restoration products Date: 12/14/2005 Which of the four hair restoration products (Advecia, Avacor, Propecia, Minoxidil, and Procerin)work best or deal effectively with receding hair line? My hair is very sensitive/weak that on windy days I can see my hair strands blow away or by merely shaking my head. The most obvious hair loss/thinning is the receding hair line. Does this refer to the 'crown'? I have long hair and I am concerned about these events. Age: 25, Sex: Male Kody AskDocWeb: Avacor seems to be an expensive source of Minoxidil and is not recommended. We are still collecting data on which product works best on the hairline. If you are considering Propecia, we suggest you read the feedback about sexual side effects before making a decision. Subj: No hair regrowth Date: 12/16/2005 I am a couple of weeks away of completing 3 months of Procerin use. No hair regrowth has taken place and my hairline has continued to recede like before. I guess I'm in the 12% of people that it doesn't work for. Would Procerin perhaps be more effective if used along with other methods or habits that slow or stop hair loss? Are there certain foods or shampoos that I should avoid? Any words of wisdom? John AskDocWeb: Three months is the minimum amount of time to begin seeing results. Taking it for six months would be more reasonable to give it a fair chance to work. That may seem to be a long time but compare that to Propecia where they say to take it up to a year before deciding. Six months would be a fair test. Subj: Female hair loss Date: 12/18/2005 As a female, could you please let me know what the side-affects are of Finasteride? I am suffering from acute hair-loss. Thank you for your help. Kind regards, Lynette AskDocWeb: Finasteride is sold under the brand name, Propecia. It is for male pattern baldness and women who want to have children should not take this drug or handle it, although some women are using it. For more details on side effects, read our report on Propecia. Read more feedback about Procerin.
