Subj: Pill or serum or both?
Date: 12/7/2007
I just wanted to know if taking the serum is as effective as taking the pill form of this medication? Is it worth it too buy the combo because I'm aware that applying an exterior medication to the scalp has no effect on controlling or stopping DHT, which is what this medication does. Should I purchase the pill or serum or both? Thanks.
Eamon

AskDocWeb: So far the feedback on the serum is running about 50% for and 50% against and we haven't made up our mind about it yet. On the other hand, the feedback on Procerin in pill form is over 70% positive so we do recommend that.

Subj: New hair
Date: 12/8/2007
I started using minoxidil foam for about one month and found lots of new white hairs pop up, where it was completely bald before. After a month I introduce procerin to my daily intake and after two month of taking procerin, I have started to see some hair getting thicker around my top and frontal area. I haven't seen any new hair growing at all in my frontal hairline. It seems to work better for the top part of the head. I'm 27 and balding, but it seems procerin and minoxidil might be able to help get some of my hair back. I have been on total 3 month on minoxidil and 2 month on procerin. The result seem quite good, hopefully after 6 month I will see some new hair grow in the area where they haven't. I will take some photos from here and see what the difference is in another 3 month. I'm thinking about adding XT serum to my routine. I would like to know if this is too much for my scalp, with minoxidil and XT Serum being used together? Cheers,
Z

AskDocWeb: We think that would be too much for your scalp. It sounds like what you are using is working so stick with it.

Subj: Slowly recovering from Propecia
Date: 12/10/2007
I stopped using propecia about 2 months ago, I am suffering from the sexual side effects but slowly recovering. If I start using procerin now, will it take longer for me to get back to normal? Also, can I take Enzyte and procerin at the same time? Thanks.
James

AskDocWeb: There doesn't seem to be anything that affects your recovery time from Propecia one way or the other. As for taking Enzyte and Procerin at the same time, no problems have been reported.

Subj: Shedding at first but now hair is getting thicker
Date: 12/12/2007
Procerin and Nissin Biofactors third month 35. Been losing hair in the vertex area, front hairline ok. First two months really bad shedding. Now my hair at the crow seems a little bit thicker, I think shedding has stopped and the amount of hairs I lose every day is declining but still there's a long way to go. Let's see what the next 3 months bring.

Subj: Caffeine slows baldness?
Date: 12/12/2007
Is there any chance this could be right? Study claims caffeine slows baldness: The caffeine complex was added to the product following extensive testing in our own laboratories," said Dr. Adolf Klaenk, director of research and development at the Dr. Kurt Wolff research laboratories, part of Aplecin Cosmetic. Is this company a bogus? How come I never heard of it? Many Thanks,
Z

AskDocWeb: You are not alone, that's new to us too. They may be the only ones on the planet that are saying so. According to their business description they are a manufacture of cosmetics. Note: The following statement is intended only as humor. Maybe it only works for people with a certain color of hair.

Subj: Procerin and rogain
Date: 12/18/2007
Any info on using procerin and rogain at the same time?
Jason

AskDocWeb: Several men have reported good results and no problems with this combination. It's like fighting the problem of hair loss from both the inside and outside at the same time.

Subj: Hair loss has been reduced significantly
Date: 12/19/2007
I have been using Procerin for last 2 and half months and my hair loss has been reduced significantly. I have ordered 6 months more supplied of Procerin today. However I am not too sure if I am having hair regrowth, coz I haven't seen new hair on my temples. Would you please recommend a hair regrowth product along with procerin?
Amit

AskDocWeb: Yes, Nisim Biofactors is a shampoo that fights hair loss. .

Subj: 16 year old boy?
Date: 12/24/2007
Can procerin be used to my 16 year old boy? How do I buy it in Jakarta, Indonesia or in Singapore?
Irvan

AskDocWeb: No, if your son is having hair loss at 16 he should be examined by a dermatologist.

Subj: Hair restoration
Date: 12/24/2007
I used procerin for 6 months and didn't see any change in hair restoration at all. I have also tried regaine (rograine) which also found to have no desired effect whatsoever.

Subj: Conception or childbirth
Date: 12/30/2007
Hi, I was just wondering whether anyone could help with the following question. I use procerin at the moment and I am just about to start trying for a baby. Are there any side effects when taking procerin that may effect my chances of having children or that could possibly be harmful to an unborn child? Thanks for your help,
Dave

AskDocWeb: No, there is no affect on conception or childbirth.

Subj: Provillus with Procerin
Date: 12/31/2007
Procerin is said to promote growth on the hairline and temple areas...Provillus seems to say it promotes hair growth on the crown...Would it be beneficial to take both products together?
Provillus mixed with Procerin.

AskDocWeb: No, in our opinion that would be a waste of your money. The main ingredients in both are the same.

Subj: Procerin pills and the topical solution
Date: 12/31/2007
Hi there - were the procerin study tests with all users using both the pills and the topical solution, or just one specific one, or either? What is the downside to taking the pills compared to the topical solution, other than the way you apply/take it? Thanks!
Eddie

AskDocWeb: All of the men in the Procerin study used only the pills. The topical solution did not exist at that time.

Subj: Hair looking thicker
Date: 1/3/2008
I just finished a three month supply of procerin. It seemed to be working, the first few weeks I noticed my hair looking thicker around the crown of my head then nothing, but I have been to the barber.

Subj: Hairloss has been reduced
Date: 1/5/2008
I started using procerin in June of 2007. It's been 6 months and my hairloss has been reduced. I don't get that many hairs in my hand when I shampoo my hair anymore, and there's only a couple on the floor after showering.
David
