Subj: Provillus over procerin?
Date: 8/18/2010
I was looking to start taking a hair loss pill for my receding hairline. Procerin and provillus both come with tablets along with minoxidil. I heard minoxidil is only for hair loss on the vertex of your scalp, which I am thankfully not exhibiting. So I am interested in only getting supplement tablets alone which procerin offers but not provillus. Is it true that minoxidil is only for the vertex of the scalp? And if so, is there any reason to consider provillus supplements over procerin? Thanks, and sorry if these questions have already been addressed.

AskDocWeb: The FDA has approved the claims of the effectiveness of minoxidil on the crown or vertex of the scalp. That doesn't mean that it won't work on the hairline but there hasn't been enough success in that area for the manufacturer to make that claim. As for considering Provillus over Procerin, that is up to you. We would like more feedback on Provillus but either way, be sure to share your results.

Subj: Combining products?
Date: 8/20/2010
I am currently taking propecia for 26 weeks now and i am also taking procerin along with it. Ive been on procerin for 5 weeks now. I would like to know will I achieve great results in combining both products?

AskDocWeb: No one can say for certain what your results will be but the odds are certainly in your favor. It would be helpful if you could check back with an update in 6 months.

Subj: Tinitus?
Date: 8/20/2010
Has anyone experienced reported excessive ear ringing (tinitus) after prolonged use of oral product

AskDocWeb: Tinnitus is not listed as a possible side effect of Procerin and there are no reports of it.

Subj: Available in Kuwait?
Date: 8/22/2010
I would like to try the taps, can I get them in Kuwait? Thanks

AskDocWeb: Yes, if you get them from the manufacturer, they ship to Kuwait.

Subj: Hair is thicker and fuller
Date: 9/2/2010

Subj: Procerin in local stores?
Date: 9/4/2010
Hello, im living in mexico, near to the border with the united states, so i can cross countries easily. can i get procerin in a local store, such as walmart or a drug store like walgreens or ride aid? im asking, because i find rogaine on walmart.

AskDocWeb: Sorry, Procerin is only available online.

Subj: Very small improvement
Date: 9/10/2010
Hey! I have been using procerin since 01-2010 and I must admit I got a very small improvement. but I'd like to know if it is safe?

AskDocWeb: If you were allergic to one of the ingredients, that would have shown up by now. The manufacturer lists no long-term side effects for Procerin and none have been reported over the past 7 years.

Subj: Oily scalp
Date: 9/12/2010
I'm only 22 years old, and I used to have full head of hair back in high school, but now my hair is so thin that everyone can see my scalp from the top. My scalp is also so oily that I have to wash it once a day, sometime twice a day. Do most of men who have hair loss have this oily scalp, and does Procerin the right product for me? And is that good to use both procerin and Minoxidil? What's your options? Thanks!

AskDocWeb: We have seen no connection between the amount of oil produced by the scalp and the rate of hair loss. Those using both Procerin and minoxidil together seem to have better results. That's probably why Speedwinds came out with their XT serum, it has minoxidil in it.

Subj: Shedding but hairs sprouting in hairline
Date: 9/17/2010
Hey I have been taking procerin for three weeks now and I am seeing alot of shedding, my hair is quite long and is not thinning to badly just at the crown. so I was just wondering is this process of shedding normal for the hair to grow back thicker and fuller? also I do see some small black hairs sprouting through in my hairline which is good.

AskDocWeb: As we have noted before, there are many reports of increased shedding during the first few weeks of using a hair loss product. Just keep your focus on those new hairs that are growing in, which really is good news.

Subj: 25 year old boy
Date: 9/22/2010
Hi, I am 25 year old boy my hair is falling from 2 year and facing dandruff problem continuously. Please suggest is this product would be useful for me?

AskDocWeb: It could be useful, it is for 7 out of 10 men who try it. Have you had the dandruff problem evaluated by dermatologist?

Subj: 10 weeks of Procerin
Date: 10/4/2010
I have been using procerin for 10 weeks and it has completely stop my hairloss and my hair is also thicker. I want to know when will i see regrowth of new hair appearing.

AskDocWeb: You may not see regrowth. As we said in the conclusion to the Procerin Study: If you want to regrow your hair, there is only a 1 in 3 chance that Procerin will work for you and we don't recommend it for that. If you want to slow or stop your hair loss, your chances of success are better than 2 out of 3. In our opinion, to control hair loss, Procerin is worth trying.

Subj: Black people?
Date: 10/4/2010
Hi, i am having issues with my receding hairline and i am to he point where i would like to test your procerine product, but i was just wondering, ( sorry if this sounds stupid) do procerine work for all race?....more especially for black people?

AskDocWeb: Race is not an issue with this product. There were reports from only two African American males but both had good results with Procerin.

Subj: Doubling up?
Date: 10/7/2010
Can you use both nisim topical lotion for hair loss along side procerin foam topical hairloss procuct, at different times of the day needless to say...

AskDocWeb: Just to be sure, we checked the ingredients in Nisim but didn't find anything that would cause any problems with using it and the Procerin topical product.

Subj: Happy with Procerin after 1 year
Date: 10/18/2010
(age 26) I have officially been on procerin for a year! I began to take procerin in august 2009, I just checked all my past orders and I've purchased 12 bottles now in total. I really am not sure with how things are, I mean, I still have my hair, no difference I feel since the day I begun, which is GOOD news. I have days where I shed lots and some days I shed barely. I use nisim extracts and shampoo + conditioner in conjunction religiously daily, nisim really is amazing, expect my hair is soo tangled after (nisim normal to oily) but using both products together I've slowed hair lose down, but my hair texture has changed. I'm not too bothered about that but till recently not managed to do my usual hair style which I dont care about either because I feel allot more comfy with my new look! I had longish hair before, think ashton kuthcer long hair days, now very much like in fact his shorter look. partially I think due to age I cant really have the long look.

Procerin has in my eyes stabled things, and nisim is pretty much doing most of the magic. I say this because, when I got off propecia life was so "thin" but I've been hard at it, keeping my chin up with procerin and nisim and I'm happy. I've been tackling hair lose since I was young. (fabio 101D, folicure, propecia) propecia caused my life to decline, but I must admit fabio 101d helped me through my younger days. it kept my hair line healthy and thick, and folicure stings but I didnt give it long enough! I take a few supplements along side procerin (stinging nettle (300mg), choline & inositol (500mg) iron and vitamin C (60mg + 16mg), biotin (5000mcg) .. I wonder in 5 years time how things will be, my only worry is I will eventually become immune to everything. Best,

Subj: Tallguy
Date: 10/28/2010
Hey everybody, I'm 25, tall and skinny. Since I spent hours reading through these reviews, I feel obligated to return something. It's tough for me to say that Procerin stopped hair loss. But, I stopped using it a couple weeks ago (after using a 3 month supply), and my hair loss seems to have advanced since then. So, maybe it was working, but it was really only slowing the hair loss, not stopping it. For the young guys out there - it's tough, but there are ways around losing your hair. If you're worried about what girls will think, then spend your money on a gym membership rather than Procerin, get a good body, dress well and carry yourself well. Believe me, girls are attracted to two things above all else - confidence, and a sense of personality. And as far as pure physical attraction goes, girls are far more interested in physique than hair. To all of you - Procerin might work. But, I suggest you check out this webpage and read the article and the reviews first. The website was very helpful for me mentally. Let's just remember that hair loss isn't the end of the world. I was really bent out of shape when it first started happening to me, but then I saw a small child who was bald because he had cancer and it put everything into perspective for me. Best of luck to you all.

Subj: My hair is no longer receding
Date: 11/2/2010
I ordered a six month supply of procerin plus foam. I have been using procerin for 3 and 3/4 months in conjunction with finasteride (the generic for propecia) for 4 months now. I also have been using the foam applicant rigorously; I'm down to my last bottle. My hair is no longer receding as it was before and appears to be thicker in the sense the that the hair i have has volume, which i think is due to the foam but i don't know. Though i am still losing hair on my head making it "thinner". It is off and on. Sometimes i think it is working and somedays i don't. Any thoughts as to what is in store for my hair in the future?

AskDocWeb: It is known that for most balding men, hair loss is progressive so you know what happens if you don't fight it with something. Hopefully this will at least slow the loss.
