Does Provillus also contain minoxodil?
AskDocWeb: The ingredients in the Provillus supplement are as follows:
Subj: Leukocytoclastic vasculitis
I have taken Provillus and was happy from the result untill i start having rash in my thigh then have joint pain which comes out to be Leukocytoclastic vasculitis that was caused from provillus as doctors told me, im still suffering and taking steroid injectioin every month besaide strong pain killers for the past 2 month. Unfortunatly doctors cant do me anything till the body clears its self from the product while all me test comes out negative.
AskDocWeb: Leukocytoclastic vasculitis, also known as hypersensitivity vasculitis or LcV is a rare condition affecting 10-30 people per million per year. LcV is a term commonly used to denote inflammation of small blood vessels. There are many possible causes for this condition and in as many as 50% of patients a cause is never found. Antibiotics are the most common drugs that can cause cutaneous vasculitis, particularly beta-lactams. Diuretics and nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs also frequently cause vasculitis however, almost all drugs as well as foods, food additives, and supplements may be potential causes.
Subj: Pill or lotion?
Is provillus better in a pill or a lotion? because I would rather have a pill because a lotion makes my hair very greasy! Thanks,
AskDocWeb: There isn't enough feedback yet to recommend one over the other. You will have to let us know.
Subj: Some real results
Here is an honest review about the product. I am a 28 year old male in good over all health. I started taking this product about 5 months ago as I started noticing that my hair was thinning. I didn't expect any real results. I just didn't want to wonder if anything could have worked (after I lost all my hair). So, I did some research and chose provillus. I read that it could take up to 6 months to see results so I decided to follow the directions for 6 months. I didn't see any results for the first 4 or so months. In fact, I think I might have lost more hair during that time. However, this month I have started to notice some real results. In fact, my girlfriend even mentioned that I should try letting my hair grow out a little (as I have been shaving my head). While I don't think I am going to be growing my hair out for a while yet, I do believe that I have gotten some real results and will continue taking this product as it is working for me.
Subj: Rogaine didn't really work
I starting losing my hair at sixteen, proper like pattern baldness, I'm buggered really... I'm just about to try provillus as rogaine didn't really work, it slowed the hair loss but not well enough for the money it costs.
Subj: I have some regrowth, not too much
Provillus has worked for me. I am not sure which part is responsible for this. The pills are just probably helpful, but the menoxadil solution is the same as rogaine. Dietary supplement, saw palmetto seems to have positive effects on the urinary tract. My hair has stopped falling out, is healthy (strong), I have some regrowth, not too much. My specs. are that I wanted regrowth at the front of my head( receding hair line). Age 47 pale complexion, dirty blond, thin hair folocales. I used it 2 times every day, missed a day maybe once or twice a month, and am maintaining it at once per day starting with the sixth month. I also used Nizoral shampoo (high strength) once per week for the first 3 to 4 months. We all respond differently to potions drugs whatever, so research and take your best guess.
Subj: Top of the head and front portion?
I am 27 years old. I am lossing hair for last 2 years. I am using homepathy treatment for that. Top of my head and the front portion is almost clear. Can Provillus will help me to regrow good hair in this portion with in 10 months?
AskDocWeb: That is the question we are trying to answer by collecting feedback from those who use this product. If you try it, please share your results here so that everyone can benefit from your experience.
Subj: A little hair growth is better than none
After taking Provillus for 6 months I was not going to reorder it because I didn't see any hair growth and my hair was still falling out. Then my hairdresser mentioned that my hair on top had gotten thicker. I thought, maybe the change was so gradual and I hadn't noticed because I was expecting to see a lot more hair growth. I guess a little hair growth is better than none.
Subj: Hairline starting to thin
I am 21 years old and in the past 3 to 4 months I've noticed the corners of my hairline slowly starting to thin. Will provillus work? Or has it worked for situations like mine? Should I begin to take provillus?
AskDocWeb: It's a possibility, there have been a few reports of Provillus helping with the hairline but we need more feedback from users before we can recommend it for that. If you use Provillus be sure to share your results with the other guys here.
Subj: Thinking about it
I have a question if I may: I havent tried provillus yet but I'm thinking about it, but any who, once I take it and if I do regrow hair, will the hair I regrow fallout once I stop taking it? I've heard from someone that you gotta keep taking it and taking it.
AskDocWeb: Yes, that is true for all hair loss products including prescription Propecia and over-the-counter Minoxidil. If you stop using it then you lose the benefits.
Subj: Hope it works!
I just ordered 6 month supply....I had noticed hair loss in the front hair line. I have been to the dermatologist & have yet to receive reports on blood test. I shall update you as this goes along. I did find the S&H cost to be ridiculous! Let's just hope it works! This isn't cheap.
Subj: Affect on birth control pills
I am on the contraceptive pill and would like to know if taking provillus with interfere with the pills effectiveness
AskDocWeb: Provillus has no affect on any birth control pills.
I bought a bottle. on the label, it says continue use is necessary or hair loss will begin again. What? Does that mean I will have to use it for the rest of my life if i wanna keep my hair?
AskDocWeb: Unfortunately this is true for all hair loss products. There are hair loss treatments but there is not yet a cure for hair loss.

Hi there, I want to know do Provillus affect on sex side like finasterid and one more things do I use it for long time? Regards,
AskDocWeb: There are no reports of Provillus causing any sexual side effects. According to their website you can continue to use it as long as you want.
Subj: Someone over 60?
My dad is looking for something to grow his hair. But he's in his 60s. Do you know if this product would work for someone over 60 too?
AskDocWeb: There is a good chance that Provillus would slow the loss of hair (4 out of 5) but less chance of growing new hair (2 out of 5). Still, it is worth trying.
Subj: Continue to use it or stop for awhile?
Hello, I am wondering if this product would be good to use for a certain amount of time, and then stopping, or would that be ineffective. Would I instead have to continue to use it for as long as I wanted my hair to stop thinning? Thanks,
AskDocWeb: The product must be used continuously. If used intermittently, it would disrupt the growth cycle.
Subj: If I stop
Hi, if I stop using provillus, do the hair fall continues???
AskDocWeb: Yes, if you stop using any hair loss product that has been working then the hair begins falling out again.
Subj: Itchy red rash
I tried Provillus about 1 & 1/2 months ago. After about 2-3 days, I began to see redness around the base of my neck. I followed the instructions carefully, and continued for about another week or so. The redness continued and began to spread to my arms. I stopped using the topical drops but continued to take the caplets for another week or so. I've since stopped taking the caplets (over a month ago) but the redness still persists on my neck and my arms. It actually seem to be getting worse on my arms. Very itchy, red blotchy rash on both arms. I'm getting very concerned this will not go away and what should I do to help this?
AskDocWeb: Since you discontinued what you thought was causing the rash and it continues to spread, it sounds like you have something unrelated to the Provillus. Please check with a dermatologist.
Subj: Can't be ordered
Hello I am Alex from Holland and I wanted to order provillus online and I did everything; filling in everything including the information they asked about the visa kreditcard, but when I pushed to order the computer screen just flipped and it didn't give any confirmation that the order was received. So I waited until the payment would go away from my acount but it didn't either. It seems that this product of which we hear so many good things about can't be ordered; I tried it several times! Can anyone shed some light on this? I hope that someone can give me a explanation! Greetings,
AskDocWeb: According to their website they do ship internationally so it may have been a temporary problem with their website. If you try again and still can't get it, try sending an email to their customer service or visit their "Contact Us" page.
