Subj: I am only 26
Date: 12/1/2009
I lost almost 70 % of my scalp hair and I am only 26 ...its hereditary baldness but to soon I think.. I started to use provillus about 2 weeks ago I also but some minoxidil 15% + Azelaic Acid! Do you think is safe to use them together? I heard about propecia but I am afraid to use it. Is it better then provillus? Can I have some advice? Thank You,

AskDocWeb: We suggest you read the feedback on Propecia before doing anything with that drug. We don't have any data on the NEW Minoxidil 15% / Azelaic Acid 5% combination. It's so new that we consider it experimental and there is no feedback from anyone using it yet. Let us know how well it works out for you.

Subj: Men with female pattern hair-loss?
Date: 12/2/2009
I have been using Provillus for almost six months and it appears that my hair situation is the same as before I started (however, I am from Canada, therefore, no oil). My type of hair-loss is known as diffuse (not typical in males). Would I possibly benefit from using the female solution given that my pattern of thinning seems to be consistent with female pattern hair-loss?

AskDocWeb: We don't know, there is no feedback from anyone that has tried that...yet. You do it, be sure to post your results.

Subj: Provillus with Nisim products?
Date: 12/16/2009
Hello. I wondering if it was okay to use Provillus while using Nisim products like the extract? Thanks,

AskDocWeb: Yes, for those who want to avoid prescription drugs and still get the best results possible, we recommend using the Provillus Complete Solution and the Nisim product appropriate for your type of hair (dry, oily, or normal).

Subj: Is topical solution included?
Date: 12/29/2009
Provillus 6 months supply I wanted to purchase 6 months sullpy of Provillus for Men. However when I looked at the site, I could see "6 Bottles of Provillus For Men Capsules (Buy 4 Bottles, get 2 FREE)". Not sure if topical solution is included in this and I cant find that anywhere. Can you please guide me as I would like to be 100% sure before buying this product. Cheers

AskDocWeb: On the "Provillus for Men" page, if you look at the picture, you can see that there are two different shaped bottles. One contains the pills and the other is the topical solution. The buy 4 bottles, get 2 FREE offer includes the topical solution.

Subj: 20 year old woman
Date: 1/26/2010
hi I'm a 20 yr old woman. I have experienced hairfall since 18. I have a serum ferritin count of doc advised me tablets of cap hemfer thrice a day. initially it helped as the hairfall reduced but now it has increased a lot. My hair has started thinning evenly. Do u think provillus or any other specific medications will work in my case? Also are der any long term complications?

AskDocWeb: There is no way to know if it will work for you until you try it and it does have a money back guarantee. Long term complications have not been reported by anyone using Provillus.

Subj: Shampoo/conditioner recommendation
Date: 2/2/2010
Is there a shampoo/conditioner recommendation for use with Provillus?

AskDocWeb: Yes, Nisim New Hair Biofactors.

Subj: Provillus working great
Date: 2/8/2010
Provillus has been working great for me and I have been using it for about 4 months now. No more thinning hair.

Subj: Procerin or Provillus
Date: 2/12/2010
So, in your efforts to gain some feedback on both procerin and provillus, which of the two have folks given the most positive feedback? Also, will you be researching the lasercomb anytime soon? I am confused as to which product is your most recent research project? Your site states that it is on advecia, but the posts are from years ago. Thanks for your time and help. This website is a definite helping factor in deciding the best regimen.

AskDocWeb: It appears that there wasn't enough interest in Advecia to keep the study going. That happens sometimes but we will continue to post whatever feedback comes in. Between Procerin and Provillus, right now we would choose Provillus.

Subj: Rogain with Provillus?
Date: 2/13/2010
Hi, I am a man, 34 years old. I have very thin hair on the crown. It happend since I was 16 years old. I just received 6 botles of Provillus. Why there is no topical in my order ? Does it work without topical solution ? May I use Rogain 2% or 5% together with Provillus pill ? Or I should only consume the pills without Rogain ? Thanks. PS: Please do not show my email for privacy.

AskDocWeb: If you just ordered the pills then that is all they send you but yes, the topical Rogaine can be used along with Provillus.

Subj: Body hair growth?
Date: 2/21/2010
I ordered some of this product, and will give a review once I use it for a few months, but was wondering if there will be body hair growth to go along with any hair that may grow on my head. Facial hair isn't an issue; back and chest hair is mostly what I'm afraid of getting huge amounts of ha.

AskDocWeb: Provillus has not been reported to cause any increase in body hair growth.

Subj: Best drug for frontal hairline loss?
Date: 2/21/2010
First of all I would like to say 'What a fantastic site' thank you. I would like to know, which drug is the best to start taking for frontal hairline loss? Thank you,

AskDocWeb: There is currently no recommendation for any drug to treat the loss of hair along the front hairline. Although there are a small percentage of users who report success with Propecia, Procerin, and Minoxidil, the numbers are too small to recommend any of them for the front hairline.

Subj: Propecia Vs Provillus
Date: 2/26/2010
I experienced the sexual side effect on the fourth day on propecia. Erectile dysfunction, testicular pain and started hanging, Feel like no connection between brain and the X area. Immediately stopped using it. Recovered 80%, today is the 4th day off the pill, looks like things getting better. I want to take Provillus but will I experince the same side effects from it, Because I fear that the ingredient saw palmetto function in the same way as Propecia.

AskDocWeb: Propecia is a powerful prescription drug and has a much higher chance of side effect than any herbal combination such as Provillus. The danger of potential side effects is one of the reasons why you have to get a prescription in order to purchase Propecia. No prescription is required for Provillus.

Subj: Procerin no, will try Provillus
Date: 3/7/2010
Hi All. Firstly i am 25 and my hair is thining on top, i look to be starting to get the island at the front a gap then hair in the middle then a bald spot. Obviously not sure how long it will take to look that way but i'm well on my way to it. Last june i started Procerin and found the first 2 months i lost hardly and hair, then i went through the so called "shedding period", i though great but will only last a few weeks. 1 month passed then another then another in total i had 4 months of alot of hair coming out, so i decided that procerin wasnt for me. I stopped after 6 months and decided to move on to Provillus. I left 2 month gap between both and have just started Provillus. What i am happy with already is the fact its just 2 pills. As well as updating you on my progress could you tell me if i am suppose to take a pill in the morning and night or both at the same time, i cant figure out when i am suppose to. And also from all the research you have done has anyone commented on a time best to take the pills. Could taking 2 right in the morning when the body is active give a more successful result? Regards Adam (procerin for 6 months no success now provillus for 6 month, heres hoping)

AskDocWeb: We have not seen anything that would indicate that there might be an optimum time of day to take the pills. Good luck.

Subj: Random drug testing?
Date: 3/17/2010
Hi, I'm joining the military soon. I was wondering if Provillus has any ingredients that would show up on the random drug testing. I would like to use it but I don't want to take that chance on getting kicked out due to using the product.

AskDocWeb: There are no ingredients in Provillus that would show up on a drug test. That is one of the things we watch for here.

Subj: Length of hair?
Date: 4/1/2010
Hi, does provillus work for those with much hair or most of it remains on hair .or one has to keep his hair short?

AskDocWeb: We haven't seen anything to indicate that the length of hair might make any difference in effectiveness.

Subj: Bald
Date: 4/11/2010
I have alopecia on both side of my hair because i use to cream my natural hair and paste it with gel so that caused my hair sides to break out and bald completely, even before that i noticed my hair falling out, the left side is not too bad it was the second to break out but the right side is really bad do you think provillus will cure it. And can i wear a wig during the process?

AskDocWeb: Provillus will not bring back dead hair follicles. You would need to consult with a dermatologist to find out if your hair follicles are dead or just dormant. If they are just dormant then there is hope that they may be revived.
