High blood pressure and low sugar

I toke adipex for 4 days on the 2nd day i knew their was something wrong i was so sick had almost all the side affects on the list but didnt want to stop taking it cuz it was working i was loosing lots of weight on the 4th night i went to the er and had high blood pressure and low sugar so i had to stop taking it i lost 9 pounds in 4 days but was not worth getting so sick i just stoped taking it today and still fell bad

I lost 30 pounds in 21 days on this pill but you must, must workout and eat right. We hit the gym 6 days a week twice a day. For a total of 3 hours a day I start at 268 pounds I’m still working hard. A large amount of weight lose will take more than 6 months.

Constipation

I have been struggling with my weight for well over 3 yrs now. Back in 2009 I weighted 150 lbs, 5’6. to 220 lbs after my first child then 240 lbs after my second child. Now in February of 2013 i weighted 260. I was screaming for help due to me being depressed due to the significant amount of weight gain (100 lbs). My BMI is 47 and i was thinking of doing bariatric Surgery but to do me now having no health problems i was denied.

On March 1st 2013 my Doctor finally gave me something but with a lot of worries. She stated that i would have irregular heart beats, unable to sleep, being moody and etc. I decided to try it anyway. to my Suprise i was fine i have only been taking it for 24 days and i have already lost 10 lbs without exercise. i have a lost of appetite, started drinking lots of water.

Due to My busy schedule i have not being able to exercise but plan on doing so on April 1st hopefully i lose twice as much weight with a little physical movement. I am hoping to lose 70 lbs by my Birthday in September. My only problem with it is that i do not have a frequent bowl movement i find myself constipated. i would recommend this to a friend.

Depression and irritability

I have lost 20 pounds in four months. It is a great appetite suppressant. My doctor said this drug is totally safe no matter what I show him saying the latter. I feel defendant on it now and it is ruining my life. I am suffering horrible depression and in an instant, I can go to extreme irritability. Before, I was always nice and patient and now I can’t handle any stress. I stopped for a few days and the hunger returned so I don’t think this is a good fix.

Some people say just to change your diet and workout but for some people the hunger never stops. It just started for me a few years ago as I have always been thin. I need to lose 12 more pounds to be at my goal but I don’t think I can continue this drug. I have Fibromyalgia and believe it or not this drug gave me great energy I haven’t had in years so I believe I feel the need to take it for this reason more than to lose weight.

In my opinion it is very addictive as you want that energy. I’m going to stop taking it. If I don’t, I feel my life is over as the depression and irritability is so bad, no one could go on like this. There has to be another way so keep looking. It’s not worth it no matter how safe the doctor says it is, they are not telling the truth.

Forgetful

I’ve been on adipex for about 2 weeks now. I have noticed I’m more forgetful … like forgetting what I got up to do, fidgeting where I put something extra. Is this a side effect and normal?

3 weeks on Adipex

I have been taking adipex for almost 3 weeks now. I lost 9 pounds the first week and have not been weighed since. I have experienced a couple side effects listed here. The first one I had was dry mouth, which happened immediately when I started taking it. I drink tons of water though, so that doesn’t bother me so much. In the past week, my voice started to get scratchier than normal, sounds like a have a very bad cold. Was wondering if this is related to the dry mouth?

Have had a few headaches here and there, haven’t had a period since before I started taking it. I also just had an implanon rod removed right before adipex, so this may have something to do with that. My periods have always been irregular. Also I only feel like eating 2 times a day usually, and usually eat much smaller meals than I used to. Sometimes my stomach will be growling but I won’t feel like eating. Thinking that is kind of psychological, I have been a big girl my whole life I’m 26 and started on adipex at 292. I’m determined to lose as much as possible at this point.

• Excessive mouth breathing
• Sjögren’s Syndrome

The treatments for dry mouth often involve changing the way you take care of your mouth by brushing twice a day, flossing after meals, cleaning your tongue and avoiding the intake of alcohol, tobacco and caffeine. If it becomes too much of a problem there are also a number of drugs available that stimulate the production of saliva.
