Hello, I’ve been takeing melancor nh for a month now. I’ve started getting gray hair and I am takeing to product for that reasion. What do you think about the product. And do you think it could work? Regards,

AskDocWeb: We don’t have enough information on that product to have an opinion, but we would be pleased to hear how well it works for you.
Subj: Advecia dosage
Date: 11/15/2004
Can you take Advecia and Procerin at the same time could there be any risks? Concerning Advecia dosage, the bottle recommends you take two tablets per day, while your website recommends three tablets per day. Which recommended dosage should I follow?
Walter
AskDocWeb: We know of no reason why you shouldn’t take them together. As for the dosage, manufacturers do make changes to their products from time to time. Always follow the directions on the product you receive to get the latest information. Think of this website as an archive. What you read here is dated and is guaranteed to change over time. We agree with Mark Twain about being careful when reading medical information, you could die of a misprint.
Subj: Comments on Advecia
Date: 11/18/2004
Why are there no comments on advecia, I would really like to try this out, but first I would like some users feedback can you tell me is there another site where I can find this?
John
AskDocWeb: One of the reasons we started this website is because it is so hard to find out what users say about their health products. The lack of comments on Advecia is because we just started collecting feedback and this page is new.
Subj: Advecia with procerin?
Date: 11/19/2004

Subj: Advecia and Zocor
Date: 1/6/2005
My heart specialist recommended that I stop using Advecia as it may interact with the Zocor I am using. Have you seen such concerns from anyone else.
Ray
AskDocWeb: No, we haven’t. Thanks for letting us know.
Subj: Excellent

Subj: Hair is drastically thinning
Date: 4/2/2005
Hi, I’m 17 and my hair is drastically thinning, I do tend to bleach it, and have quite radical and wild hairstyles that require a fair bit of attention, and I do have a family history of baldness but not at the ages of 17, I’ve been using nutrofolica which can be found at www.upforlife.co.uk but haven’t seen any real results, can u recommend any better products? thanks
TS
AskDocWeb: You could try an expensive drug called Propecia or a cheaper alternative like procerin but, given your family history and what you do to your hair, it is not likely that anything will work. If you want to keep your hair, you will have to take better care of yourself.
Subj: Alcohol and Advecia
Date: 4/7/2005
Can you use advecia and still have a few drinks of alcohol every once in a while without getting liver damage?
Jason
AskDocWeb Yes you can do that with no problem.
Subj: Positive results
Date: 4/12/2005
I have been taking Advecia for a couple months with Procerin. I’m 28, Male that was born with thin hair, my mother has thin hair and my father has an afro with a small receding hairline. I ended up with curly hair that’s thin… ha ha, not fair… Anyway, my hair is receding and thinning so I tried these products out with positive results. No grey hair yet and my hair is much more softer then it was, it also has more of a shine. I did not change my shampoo and my hair is changing. It’s not getting any thicker that’s forsure, but it does look much more healthy. I have been taking the supplements as directed on the bottle. Best Regards,
Derek
Subj: Unwanted hair

Hello, I have been recently diagnosed with having androgenetic alopecia. So, I have two questions. First, if I’m currently going through a series of laser hair removal (for my bikini area) is it possible that this product could cause regrowth in that area? Do I still need to take my daily multi-vitamin?
Tracy
AskDocWeb Yes, you still take your daily multi-vitamin. It won’t cause regrowth in your bikini area.
Subj: Advecia in Singapore
Date: 5/12/2005
I am keen in your product. I am having thinning hair on my forehead but I have been treated by seeing some hair loss center using Chinese herbs and remedy. The hair loss have stopped. But I like to know if I uses Advecia will it help in growing back my hair in my forehead? Is there anyone I can contact in Singapore to get hold of the product? Cheers.
William
AskDocWeb: Advecia is not our product. It is just one of the products reviewed here. If your hair loss is caused by a vitamin or mineral deficiency then it could help. When you refer to the hair on your forehead, I’m assuming you mean the hairline just above your forehead. Minoxidil may help in that area. Advecia ships worldwide so you can order from their website.
Subj: When to take the pills
Date: 5/25/2005
It says to take two pills a day so do u take them at the same time or do u take one in the morning and one at night or what?
Rory
AskDocWeb: You could do either one but one in the morning and one at night would allow better assimilation.
Subj: Hair loss industry?
Date: 6/16/2005
My name is Shari and I am a hair stylist in New Jersey. I have a lot of clients that are thinning and/or balding. I am very interested in breaking into the hair loss industry. I am looking for a way to join a team…apprentice position to learn. If possible can you refer me to someone that could point me in the right direction?
Shari
AskDocWeb: Your question is too general to answer. It would depend on what position you want to develop in the hair loss industry. Do you want to do research, manufacture, wholesale, promote, distribute or sell products?
Subj: Wondering about Advecia
Date: 7/9/2005
On this coming Tuesday I will have used Thymuskin shampoo and lotion for 2 weeks. I also have been taking Provillus for 2 months. I’ve noticed a slowing down of hairloss. I am a 52 yr. old woman and have been experiencing hairloss over the last year. I had my hormones tested and am very low in estrogen-33 out of a scale 0-400, and my testosterone is very low. Would Advecia be recommended also? Thank you for this web site!
Carol
AskDocWeb: We haven’t gathered enough information on Advecia yet to say one way or the other. If you try it, let us know how it goes.
Subj: 3 months of Advecia
Date: 7/12/2005
I started using Advecia about 3 months ago and I have noticed that my hair loss is a lot less. I could see lots of hair in the sink when I washed or dryed my hair, so when I started taking Advecia I was particular about watching for lost hair. After a couple of months I noticed less hair in the sink. I’m the doubting Thomas, but I really think this product has begun to stop the hair loss. I’m on my last bottle, but will probably order more to see if it will help grow some of my hair back.

Subj: Questions from South Africa
Date: 7/16/2005
From South Africa, wish to know if the product reduces dht, and is it effective for MPB?
George
AskDocWeb: Yes, Advecia is intended to reduce DHT. It is also intended to provide your body with the vitamins and minerals that your body needs in order to grow hair. If you have hair loss that is caused by a vitamin or mineral deficiency then this is the product you want to deal with that.
Subj: Interested in Advecia
Date: 7/17/2005
I’m intersted in trying out Advecia, however, I would like to see helpful testimony. How new is Advecia? Is there going to be a study on Advecia? If yes, I would like to participate. How can I do this?
Tina
AskDocWeb: We haven’t made up our mind about doing a study on Advecia yet. The one we did with Procerin ate up so much time that we are reluctant to do another. All the feedback about Advecia will be posted on these pages so if you try it, do let other readers here know how it goes.

Provillus… I have been looking all over the web for a website that says it as it is and I could only find yours so good effort. My questions are:
– during my research I found Provillus, do you have any information about it?
– If Propecia 1mg is bad wouldn’t you say that Proscar 5mg would be 5 times worse?
– If you were asked today to rank the medication from most effective and NO SIDE Effects to least effective WITH SIDE EFFECTS how would you rank the medications?
– I do not have cancer and I am loosing hair like there is no tomorrow, would taking Thymuskin be any help?
– What side effects do the following medications have?
– Provillus
– Proscar
– Thymuskin
That is about it, I am sorry to hammer you with the one thousand and one questions. Thank you for taking the time to answer them. And keep up the good work. Kind regards,
Alexander
AskDocWeb: We are in the beginning stages of collecting information on Provillus so we don’t have enough to go on that yet.
All of the medications on the market today have side effects. You are right about Proscar having more side effects but then that drug is not prescribed for hair loss. The effective ingredient is the same as Propecia but it is intended for another condition. It is prescribed to improve symptoms of benign prostatic hypertrophy (BPH).
We make a distinction between drugs and supplements. You need a doctor’s prescription to buy a drug but no prescription is needed for a supplement. We are still collecting feedback on Provillus and Thymuskin. Read more Advecia Feedback. Report on Advecia – Page 2 – 3 – 4 – Last page 5 –
After reviewing over a dozen of the most well-known products for hair loss we have decided to recommend Profollica.
