Subj: Androgenetic Alopecia
Date: 8/9/2005
I was diagnosed with Androgenetic Alopecia, can this product (Advecia) help my condition? Thank-You,
Roza
AskDocWeb: Androgenetic alopecia is the type of hair loss that is caused when the male hormone testosterone is converted into DHT. The DHT shrinks the hair follicles (the roots) until they no longer grow hair. Advecia is not likely to help with that condition.
Subj: Advecia with VigRx?
8/29/2005
Hi, Is it ok to use Advecia (hairloss pill) and VigRx(penis enlargement)together? Thanks,
Pete
AskDocWeb: We don’t see any drug/herb interactions listed for them but does VigRx really work?
Subj: Advecia in women
Date: 9/5/2005
Will advecia change the color of my hair? Is it okay to wash my hair everyday while taking advecia? What if I forget to take a dose? I noticed that the feed back is mostly from men, have any women tried it?
Linda
AskDocWeb: Yes, you can wash your hair everyday while taking Advecia (if it needs washing). We haven’t been collecting feedback long enough to answer your other questions.
Subj: Feeling jittery
Date: 9/8/2005
Hi, I just bought Advecia and used it last night and this morning. Is it supposed to make you feel jittery and dehydrated?
Tina
AskDocWeb: Feeling jittery is common when you first notice you have more energy. You may have had a vitamin deficiency that Advecia is helping with. If you feel dehydrated, that is your body’s way of letting you know that you need to drink more liquids for the body to function properly.
Subj: Advecia ingredients
Date: 9/13/2005
I have another question. I noticed that the pill ingredients on this website are different than what is on the bottle on the Advecia website. What am I missing here?
Tina
AskDocWeb: This happens occasionally when a company changes their formula after we do a report on them. Thanks for letting us know so we can update that information.
Subj: Depakote hair loss
Date: 10/5/2005
I have been taking Depakote to control seizures and as a result over the last 4 months, I have lost A LOT of my hair (which is a known side effect of the medication). Luckily I have thick hair, but I was told I would be on this medication for at least another year until I can be reevaluated. I am afraid to think what I will look like by then. Can I take Advecia with my current medication?
Sandra
AskDocWeb: We’ve not heard of any problems, but also haven’t heard from anyone on Depakote who has used Advecia. Please let us know how it turns out if you use Advecia.

Hi. I am 20 and my hairline has started receding. I heard it is better to start preventative measures when younger rather then waiting. Would it be safe to take generic minoxidil with Advecia and procerin. What is the success rate of the drugs in regrowth of receding hairline. Also, if I used minoxidil would I have to do it morning and night or would once a day be sufficient. Thanks for any help.
James
AskDocWeb: You are correct in thinking that the sooner you start treatment for hair loss when it starts, the better. And yes, you can use Minoxidil with these hairloss treatments. Just follow the directions that come with the Minoxidil.
Subj: Two and a half months
Date: 10/23/2004
Hello, I’m a 28 year old male whose hair recently started to thin. I’ve been using Advecia for 2 and a half months now, and whilst people have commented on my hair being shiny and in great condition, I am to notice, as yet, any change at all in the amount of hair I seem to be losing! I’ll keep you updated as to whether it starts to work or not…

Hello. Can help me? I need your suggestion about this product’s Advecia, Propecia, and Provillus were best.
Say
AskDocWeb: Although the best results have been reported with Propecia, it comes with some possibly serious sexual side effects.
Subj: Provillus
Date: 11/17/2005
What can you tell me about Provillus?
Chris
AskDocWeb: We know it is available online from 911 Healthshop. One user said it was a copycat product of Procerin. Only two users have given feedback so far, but both were positive.

My boyfriend has several patches of hair loss on his head. Is there any natural products or herbs he could take to help grow back hair?
Alice
AskDocWeb: Yes, Advecia, Procerin, and Provillus are all herbal products, but just choose one, not all three.
Subj: Hepatitis
Date: 12/30/2005
Can you use this if you have hepatitis c? Thanks,
Nick
AskDocWeb: You should be just fine using Advecia.
Subj: Procerin or Advecia?
Date: 12/31/2005
Hi, I am conflicted whether to use procerin or Advecia, I know that one reduces dhc, the other helps provide you with necessary vitamin, or lack of for your hair growth. I have a family history of baldness from my dad’s side, however I have heard that hereditary baldness are from you mom’s side. I believe it could also be lacking of vitamins for my hair lost, I am not sure which one I should go for.

AskDocWeb: Procerin has been around longer than Advecia and many report good results with it. We haven’t made up our minds about Advecia yet because we don’t have enough feedback. Since Advecia recently changed their formula we have to start over in tracking the results from users.
Subj: Advecia with Procerin?
Date: 1/1/2006
Can I use Advecia with Procerin. Since these two seem to have less side effects reported and more natural I was wondering if they could be used hand in hand. Thanks
Don
AskDocWeb: Several men have reported using them together. If you do that, please share your experience with others here.
Subj: Advecia in Canada?
Date: 11/22/2003

Subj: Safe for children?
Date: 1/31/2006
My three year old has Alopecia. Is Advecia safe for children to use? Thank you,
Jennifer
AskDocWeb: At that age you should discuss it with your doctor. You don’t want to overlook anything.
Subj: Advecia
Date: 2/27/2006
Does it available in Saudi Arabia (Riyadh)?
Farrukh
AskDocWeb: Yes, as far as we know. If you hear otherwise, be sure to let us know.
Subj: Regrowing hair
Date: 3/23/2006
I was losing hair like crazy last year. I had several bald patches, and didn’t know why. I went to the Dr and they told me it was stress, and wanted to do a biopsy. I didn’t go through with it. I bought Advecia, and started taking it. About a month or two later, I started regrowing hair. It started out as a little fuzzy, then when it grew more, it was softer, shinier, and much healthier. It is well worth the money. I never took more than the one bottle. I’ve noticed a small bald spot yesterday, and plan on ordering some more as soon as possible. I shouldn’t have waited so long to get it the last time. I recommend it to anyone.

Subj: Hair loss product without side effects?
Date: 5/15/2006
Is there any natural supplement to regrow hair loss? I’m afraid of all these Advecia, Rogaine and their side effect. I need something without 1 side effect, Pls help if there is any. Thanks,
Festy
AskDocWeb: Any product that has an effect can also have a side effect. The best we can do is to choose the one least likely to cause a problem. We think that’s Procerin.
Subj: Feedback on Provillus
Date: 6/20/2006
Can you PLEASE provide any feedback what so ever on Provillus? have you been getting feedback about pros/cons regarding this product? Is it proven to help Androgenetic Alopecia? Any help is very much appreciated!
Worried_sick
AskDocWeb: There has been one negative report and several positive reports about Provillus from men. And one woman reported that Provillus slowed her hair loss.
Subj: Good results
Date: 7/5/2006
I’m 33 and started taking propecia at about 24. I never suffered any of the reported side effects and my hair loss stopped or at least slowed right down. My hair no longer receded but over the years I experienced a slight thinning most noticeably just behind the front hairline. I tried extra strength rogaine and found this to be ineffective. My hair over the last few years has generally become lifeless and was starting to thin out. About 6 weeks ago I ordered 6 months supply of Advecia and received it within one week of ordering on the internet. Within 1 week my hair felt much fuller and has continued to feel and look much more healthy after 5 weeks of use. The manufacturers suggest you should/could experience regrowth after 7-9 weeks.
