Is CuradermBEC5 the best answer for the treatment of Skin Cancer? Curaderm-BEC5 cream is a new topical treatment developed by Brisbane scientist Dr Bill Cham whose cosmetic outcome appears far superior to current treatment methods.

Dermatologists at Royal London Hospital and nine other United Kingdom skin cancer treatment centers have supported claims that Curaderm-BEC cures skin cancer and is a viable alternative to conventional surgery, chemotherapy and laser treatments.

Dermatologists applied the topical cream twice daily to the cancer lesion and within weeks, laboratory biopsies confirmed the BEC cream eliminated all traces of cancer. This startling discovery is a major medical breakthrough, as skin cancer is quickly becoming a health epidemic.

Skin cancer management usually involves surgery, and the risks of surgical intervention are well known. Excision of skin cancer (cutting it out), such as a Basal Cell Carcinoma (BCC), from the facial area often involves reconstructive surgery, which can be both time consuming and costly.

Dr. Sangeeta Punjabl of the Royal London Hospital concluded the Curaderm-BEC evaluation by stating, “We consider that this rate of treatment success more than justifies the physician considering BEC as an alternative to currently predominant treatment such as surgical excision or cryotherapy.”

Clinically Proven Skin Cancer Treatment

Curaderm-BEC5 is a blended cream, available in a 20ml application vial containing 0.005% mixture of Solasodine Glycosides. Solasodine Glycosides are from the same family of active constituents that also occurs naturally in Eggplant. The native Australian plant called “Devils Apple” is specifically cultivated for Curaderm-BEC5 skin cancer treatment. History of Curaderm

The brand Curaderm was originally manufactured and distributed by Cura Nominees Pty LTD in Australia. This followed full clinical trials and monitoring of participants beyond five years. The brand was immediately popular as an over the counter medicine in Australia. Over 60,000 units of Curaderm were sold in the first few weeks of release of the product.

The rapid popularization of the effective treatment lead to a lobby movement by the Australian Dermatologists and Skin cancer surgeons. The lobbying efforts lead to Curaderm to becoming re-classified to prescription only status. This action severely affected the brands reach, however, sales and excellent treatment results continued throughout the 1990’s. Cura’s restricted Curaderm sales were balanced by the company manufacturing other successful cosmetic and therapeutic products for the Australian market.

Dr. Cham was disappointed with the Australian medical system reclassifying Curaderm so that information on Curaderm was hidden from the consumer. By 2000, a double blind randomized vehicle controlled clinical trial with leading United Kingdom Dermatologists and Hospitals was arranged. A primary objective of this trial was to prove the treatment to be a safe home based treatment. The excellent results paralleled results from clinical trials in Queensland during the 1980’s and completely refuted all wrongful statements suggested by the Australian Dermatology lobby.

Despite this irrefutable evidence, Curaderm was not given any praise by the Australian dermatologists about the United Kingdom clinical results. Even the Australian Medical Journal was not cooperative to publish the excellent results so the Australian doctors could be more informed and prescribe the treatment to consumers.

With Curaderm in such a restrictive position within the Australian market it was decided the entire brand including manufacturing, management and distribution would be moved out of Australia.

After ten years of painstaking research, Dr Cham who works at the Queensland Department of Medicine, developed Curaderm cream. He claims the cream has virtually a 100% success rate in curing skin cancer and has been internationally patented. With Curaderm, Dr Cham has had to overcome many challenges to get the product to marketplace.

Curaderm has been acknowledged worldwide as a breakthrough in treating skin cancers and until recently was sold over the counter, but health authorities have placed in on prescription only.
Dr Cham says he discovered the curative powers of the Devil apple plant and kangaroo Apple from a veterinarian at the University who told him Aborigines used the juices to stop eye cancer.
But he said the biggest breakthrough and the most exciting part to the research is that the active ingredients used to treat skin cancer have killed internal cancer in mice.

He claims cancer introduced into mice has been killed and the mice lived a full life span. He has also tested it on human cancer cells and the treatment has killed them without harming normal human cells.

Dr Cham says as soon as pharmacology has been completed, the treatment will be tested on cancer patients.

In further research, Dr Cham and his team are in the final stages of testing a treatment that flushes cholesterol out of the body.

Heart disease is the biggest killer in the world and they have developed a treatment that not only flushes cholesterol from the blood but also from the arteries as well.

He said while current treatments can lower cholesterol levels in the blood, they have not been able to remove it from clogged arteries.

If all the tests prove positive this treatment will hopefully be available to the public within five years. Tests begin at the Wesley Hospital, Brisbane, this year.

To finance his research, Dr Cham has developed and made available to all Australians a unique range of medicated and skin care products made in Australia specifically for Australians.
The products marketed as ‘Curacel’ are based on the same principles as his effective skin cancer research, that to be truly effective products must penetrate the skin.

Curacel has products that treat arthritic pain, sunspots, eczema, dermatitis, psoriasis, acne, pimples, herpes, warts, sunburn and cold sores. Curacel also markets a range of skin care derived from Dr Cham’s research.

The Curacel skin care formula has come to the attention of the major French cosmetic companies who have made lucrative offers to buy the formula, however Dr Cham is not selling.
The products will remain Australian made.

Who is this man they call “Dr Skin”? Dr Bill Cham is a humble genius with a humanitarian heart. His quest to find a cure for skin cancer seems to have been rewarded. He has now been acknowledged worldwide for his breakthrough in the skin cancer treatment ‘Curaderm’.

An internationally patented cream Curaderm has enabled patients to fully recover from severe skin cancers eliminating suffering and avoiding inevitable death.

THE DEVIL’S APPLE

In this quest to find a cancer cure Dr Cham tested the Devil’s apple plant, commonly regarded as a weed on the eastern seaboard of Australia. The results were astonishing and in time Dr Cham has developed an extract that was highly effective in the treatment of cancerous cells.
After 10 years of painstaking research and development “Curaderm” was launched as a cure for skin cancer.

“That was only half the problem,” recalls Dr Cham, “that’s merely dealing with live cancer cells in a Petrie dish. The next stage was just as difficult. The skin on the flesh grows from the inside out and is constantly being shed. You might think of it as a … of cells flowing upward. To get the cancer treatment down to the forming cells where it is required, you must attach it to a substance which allows you to penetrate deep against that current.”

In his search for a penetrating cream that would perform that task, Dr Cham tested over 60 moisturizing creams currently available on the market. In all case he found the claim of the manufactures to be at best, exaggerated, and at worse, fallacious. Another problem stemmed from the wide use of soap acids as a base for these products. Cancerous skin is sensitive skin, and stearates can irritate, thereby exacerbating the problem.

“Finally I decided to develop my own moisturizing cream. I used a unique form of mucopolysaccharides. These are naturally occurring water and oil-binding agents which have the ability to take ingredients into the skin to nourish it at the level skin cells are born. That essentially solved the problem. I had the bomb, then the delivery system, the result was we could literally explode the cancer cells, destroying them for good.”

Curaderm is a cream extracted from a plant called the Devils Apple Fruit or Solanum sodomaeum. The active ingredient in Curaderm is Solasodine Glycosides (0.005%) is also found in smaller quantities in the eggplant and aubergine. Since 1982, the active has been shown to be effective in the treatment of the malignant human skin tumors. In 2002 an evaluation study by Ten United Kingdom Hospitals there is now a worldwide clinically approved skin cancer cream available that has advantages over conventional methods

The Curaderm-BEC5 cream formula is based on scientific formulations developed through the 1980s and first released on the Australian market in 1990. This medicine is also been clinically shown to be very effective to treat malignant skin cancers such as the non-melanoma basal cell carcinoma (BCC) and squamous cell carcinoma (SCC).

Clinical Trials of Curaderm

Numerous clinical trials in Australia and Great Britain have confirmed BEC5’s ability to regress non-melanoma skin cancers. In one open study with 72 patients, treatment with BEC5 cream resulted in the regression of all treated lesions (56 actinic keratoses, 39 BCCs and 29 SCCs), with 100% healed after 1 to 13 weeks of treatment.

Recent trials in 10 UK hospitals found that a twice daily topical application of BEC5 cream to the affected areas gave a complete remission to 78% of the patients within 8-weeks. The remaining 22% of patients had also improved and needed longer treatment times; all this was made possible without chemotherapy, radiotherapy or surgery. The dermatologists at the Royal London Hospital concluded that: “BEC5 is a topical preparation which is safe and effective, an ideal therapy for outpatient treatment… It is a cost-effective treatment for both primary and secondary skin cancer care.” Furthermore, the histological analyses of biopsies taken before, during and after treatment give compelling evidence of the continuing efficacy of BEC5 because treated skin cancer lesions have not recurred for at least 5 years after cessation of therapy. BEC5 cream is therefore recommended to be used to treat areas of the skin that may have become discolored, thickened or scaly as a result of exposure to sun (UV) light. These areas of the skin are known as keratoses. BEC5 cream is effective to treat true malignant skin cancers such as the non-melanoma basal cell carcinoma and squamous cell carcinoma.

To date, it is estimated that more than 80,000 people have used BEC5 and shown below are just some of the results achieved with BEC5 cream: BEC5 works because it contains a plant sugar called rhamnose, (which is not usually found in mammalian species). Specific endogenous lectins, (which are receptors for the sugar part of the glycoalkaloids) are present in the plasma membranes of susceptible cancer cells, but they not present in normal cells. Therefore BEC5 recognizes and binds the sugar rhamnose of the glycoalkaloid to the cancer cell. Subsequently, this enters the cancer cell and causes cell death by destroying the lysosome.

Side effects to date have been limited to skin reddening, although during treatment erosion, ulceration and shedding of unwanted skin cells is also likely to take place. Clean the area to be treated with a mild antiseptic to remove old skin cells. BEC5 should be applied relatively thickly to the area at least twice daily and a micro pore placed over the area.

What are the ingredients in Curaderm-BEC5?

Curaderm is a cream extracted from a plant called the Devils Apple Fruit (Solanum sodomaeum). The active ingredient in Curaderm is Solasodine Glycosides, commonly known as BEC5. It also contains Saliyclic Acid and Urea at a very high concentration.

Curaderm-BEC5 contains Salicylic Acid and Urea at high concentrations, which helps assist BEC5 to find and reach the cancer cells. Curaderm-BEC5 is a homogeneous cream formulation packaged in a 20ml application vial containing 0.005% mixture of Solasodine Glycosides. The active constituents are derived from a native Australian plant called “Devils Apple” which are specifically cultivated for Curaderm-BEC5 skin cancer treatment. These active constituents are extracted from the “Devils Apple” then purified to enhance their curative powers. Solasodine Glycosides are from the same family of active constituents that also occurs naturally in Eggplant, which is consumed in large volumes worldwide.

Curaderm-BEC5 is a standardized mixture of two triglycosides, Solasonine and Solamargine and their corresponding diglycosides and monoglycosides. Solasodine is a steroid alkaloid.

BEC5 cream (20g) contains the active anticancer ingredient Solasodine Glycosides (BEC). It also contains Salicyclic Acid and Urea at relatively high concentrations that assist BEC to kill cancer cells. Salicyclic Acid Urea may irritate the skin.

How does Curaderm-BEC5 work?

Solamargine is a naturally occurring solasodine triglycoside that binds to the EELs and this interaction initiates a chain of events, resulting in the internalization of solamargine with concomitant delivery of solasodine to the targeted cell. Solamargine travels via the desmosomes to the lysosomes. The action of solamargine is lysosomotropic (rupturing of the lysosome). This results in sudden death for the cancer cells.

Curaderm-BEC5 finds Keratosis and Sunspot cells in your skin by using specific cell receptors, which only allow the precancerous cells to be recognized. These cells are then destroyed and removed completely leaving the healthy skin cells unharmed.

The Salicylic Acid and Urea in Curaderm irritates the skin, which causes the skin to become red and inflamed. The redness and inflammation are signs that it is working and indicates that the active ingredients are penetrating your skin in order to trace the cancer cells.

Urea and salicylic acid are included in the cream as keratolytic. This enhances the penetration of Curaderm-BEC5 into the tumor and aids in the removal of dead tissues. Curaderm-BEC5 destroys non-Melanoma cancer cells without affecting the normal cells. It is a proven home based treatment, confirmed by the Royal London Hospital.

Cancer on the surface of the skin tissue is treated and the deep penetrating delivery cream then allows the active constituents to penetrate the skin and attack the whole cancer hidden beneath the skin tissue.

In simplified terms Curaderm-BEC5 seeks out and destroys cancerous cells leaving normal cells unaffected. Once Curaderm-BEC5 interacts with cancer cells, it invades the stomach (lysosome) of the cancer cells and causes the stomach to disintegrate, resulting in immediate death of the targeted cancer cells.

It is intended for twice daily application to the lesion until it is completely gone. (Research indicates that faster recovery is possible with more frequent daily applications)

CuradermBEC5 is applied to the infected area twice daily for up to eight weeks.
The patient will experience minor pains during the first one or two days of application and from then on Curaderm will be doing its tasks of destroying the cancer cells. It will penetrate deep into the infected area destroying all cancer cells without causing any damage to the healthy cells and later helps regrowth of your new tissues. By the time your sore has been healed your skin will be back to normal, leaving little or no scar behind, and of course doing you a big, big favor by respecting your wallet.

How to use Curaderm BEC5

First cleanse the skin by applying a good antiseptic solution, massaging into the site and then rinsing clean under running water. This ensures removal of dead cells that might otherwise from a barrier against the penetration of BEC5.

Dry the site thoroughly, and then apply a thick layer of BEC5 across the treatment site. Cover with a dressing (micro pore). Wash hands after application.

How much BEC5 to use

Depending on the size of the area to be treated, between approximately 0.1 and 0.5g of cream may be required for each treatment. The total area of skin treated with BEC5 should not exceed 25cm squared at any one time. If larger areas require treatment extra care should be taken.

Care should be taken NOT to apply BEC5 cream to the unaffected areas. Areas near the eyes or lips should be treated very carefully. BEC5 should be used at least twice daily but may also be used up to ten times daily. It is important to always cover the treated area with dressing such as a micro pore. DO NOT let the area being treated dry out. The area should be treated until it has re-grown with new skin.

When the swelling in the area subsides and the treated skin appears normal, the treatment should be discontinued and the redness will gradually fade. On occasion it may be necessary to prolong the treatment regime. If in doubt it is better to treat the area for an extended period in order to prevent re-occurrence. In this case, the treatment should continue until such time as the lesion has re-grown with new tissue.

If you forget to use BEC5

It is important to ensure a regular treatment regime. Multiple skipped treatments may result in growth of normal skin over the top of the lesion. This can result in masking and thus the incomplete, treatment of the lesion. IF you inadvertently forget to use BEC5, you should recommence using BEC5 at least twice daily, or as originally directed.

If you use too much

Wipe away any excess and then wash BEC5 cream from the affected areas using soap and water.

The eyes should be avoided. If any excess occurs, wash and wipe away with cold water. Application should continue for a minimum of 7 days and a maximum of 60 days, this time dependant upon the size, need and regularity of application. BEC5 should not be applied to moles and melanomas. A 20-ml. bottle of BEC5 can provide enough material to treat one large skin cancer, two medium sized ones, six small ones or twelve sun spots. Apart from the need to treat cancer, BEC5’s efficacy to help remove and protect against sun spots represents a major step forward in the prevention and “control” of skin cancers. What to expect

First reddening, as the active ingredients penetrates your skin will redden.

Then usually erosion – the cancer cells will die causing a dip in the skin tissue.

Ulceration – from the lesion you will notice some discharges of pus. That indicates the dead cancer cells are being recessed from the skin tissue.

Decline of the treated unwanted skin cells followed by re-growth of normal skin tissue – When the swelling in the area subsides and the treated skin appears normal, the treatment should be discontinued and the redness will gradually fade and you will know that your treatment with Curaderm-BEC5 is completed.

When BEC5 is used the following pattern of response can be anticipated. First reddening, then usually erosion, ulceration and decline of the treated unwanted skin cells followed by re-growth of normal skin tissue. During treatment the lesion may appear worse before treatment. This is because BEC seeks out and destroys the cancer cells that are not visible with the bare eyes.

In most cases some degree of redness and swelling will be observed during treatment. Tingling or some pain may be experienced for 30 to 60 minutes after each application, this is a normal reaction.

During treatment the lesion may appear worse before treatment. This is because BEC seeks out and destroys the cancer cells that are not visible with the bare eyes.

The normal reactions seen when applying daily (at least twice) the Curaderm BEC5 to the lesion or affected areas are some degree of redness and swelling, tingling sensation or pain which can be experienced for 30-60 minutes.

The pattern of responses can be anticipated by: reddening, then usually erosion, ulceration and decline of the treated of the unwanted cells followed by the re-growth of the normal skin tissue.

When using Curaderm BEC5 there is no scar formation of skin tissue. You will not lose the re-growth of normal tissue. There is limited access to the cancer if it exists within the lesion if it is deep within the skin. And there is a low rate of the reoccurrence of the skin cancer.

How long does it take to work?

A usual treatment regime will last for 7 to 60 days, depending on the number of applications per day and on the individual’s sensitivity. When the swelling in the area subsides and the treated skin appears normal, the treatment should be discontinued and the redness will gradually fade. On occasion it may be necessary to prolong the treatment regime. If in doubt it is better to treat the area for an extended period in order to prevent re-occurrence. In this case, the treatment should continue until such time as the lesion has re-grown with new tissue.

If you forget to use BEC5

It is important to ensure a regular treatment regime. Multiple skipped treatments may result in growth of normal skin over the top of the lesion. This can result in masking and thus the incomplete, treatment of the lesion. IF you inadvertently forget to use BEC5, you should recommence using BEC5 at least twice daily, or as originally directed.
If you use too much, wipe away any excess and then wash BEC5 cream from the affected areas using soap and water.

Success rate

The general success rate of the glycoalkaloid (BEC) cream was 78 percent. Longer duration therapy with BEC would have resulted in higher success rates. These results were comparable to those previously obtained with Curaderm. Not only was it shown that this cream was effective in treating superficial BCC, but in a subsequent open study trial carried out at the Dermatology Department at the Royal London Hospital it was also shown that the glycoalkaloid cream was effective on morpheoic BCC lesions, which are a type of invasive BCC. The clinical trial experience has shown that the BEC was safe.

What side effects do users of Curaderm-BEC5 report?

When to discontinue Curaderm-BEC5 use

Treatment with Curaderm-BEC5 should only be stopped when the treated area has grown new skin tissue. Once there are no open wounds, small sores, little or no scaring and a new layer of skin covers the entire area where the skin cancer was then you can stop treatment. Do not stop the treatment prematurely as the skin cancer may grow back.

History of Curaderm-BEC5

In 1979, Dr. Cham discovered the amazing effects of Glycoalkaloid in destroying skin cancer cells when he heard about a cow which remarkably stopped the growth of a skin cancer on it’s eye by rubbing it against the leaf of a Devil’s Apple Plant. The scientific name is S. sodomaneum L., also known as S. hermannii Dunal. It is native to South Africa and the Mediterranean basin. The Devil’s Apple Plant was introduced to Australia in 1801.

Many of his patients have been cancer-free for 10 years or more.
