What should I say
Date: 3/31/2005
I’m married with a child, but I never got orgasm when I have intercourse with my husband, though we do it many times. What should I say to him? I need longer time than him.

AskDocWeb: Many women have said they need the sex to last longer in order to have an orgasm. There are many ways you can achieve this. Here are two:

If you need a longer time, try starting before he does. You could start first thing in the morning by thinking about places on your body you will enjoy his touch, and how that will feel. And then stop once in a while throughout the day to think of another place or another way you will enjoy his body. Mental foreplay is important to have a good orgasm. By the time you get ready for bed you may have several things in mind that make you READY for him.

Another approach is to come at this with the idea of increasing his pleasure and he will be more responsive to whatever you say. In fact, he will likely be delighted with this idea. Tell him you are going to make him ejaculate twice, once outside of you and then inside. Now add foreplay that you both enjoy that gets him to ejaculate outside of you. You may find a lot of pleasure in being able to make him do this. Give him a few minutes to recover and it’s your turn. He will take longer the second time and that is just what you want for your satisfaction. Enjoy it.

I am curious about Orexia (a female sexual enhancement cream similar to Vigorelle). How does it compare to Vigorelle, and what is so wrong with metha parabens?

AskDocWeb: I think you mean “methyl paraben” which is something the EPA is very concerned about. All parabens are antimicrobial preservatives that have been proven to disrupt the normal production and functioning of hormones in your body. Parabens are stored in the body’s fatty tissues and do not get flushed out with water. We found reports connecting parabens with breast cancer, non-hodgkins lymphoma and thyroid cancer.

When we checked out Orexia we found that their website is registered to Urban Nutrition, Inc. and the registration is private, as if owned by an individual. They have been doing business online for 2 years. Customers have reported problems with their guarantee. According to a company rep, the guarantee does not apply to orders that are auto-shipped. If you prepay your order, they consider that an auto-ship order. And guess what, the only way you can order is to prepay. Does that sound like a scam?

Is Vigorelle safe?
Date: 8/16/2005
I just want to know if it is 100% safe. Can you comment definitively? Being 100% natural does not make is safe.

AskDocWeb: As long as you don’t have an allergy to one of the ingredients (and most women don’t) you will enjoy using Vigorelle. Most women find it intensely pleasurable.

Vaginal dryness
Date: 4/6/2006
I am interested in Vigorelle for my wife who has gone off estrogen because she takes Warfarin blood thinner. The result is vaginal dryness and sensitivity. My question is regarding any medical problems arising from using Vigorelle? My wife’s age is 66. Thank you!

AskDocWeb: Every woman suffers with vaginal dryness as she ages, using Vigorelle is completely safe.

Wife doesn’t need it
Date: 5/11/2006
I bought vigorelle for my wife. We have a very busy live. She comes to bed late, and is rarely in the mood. She does not want to try the product, she says she does not need it. Do you have any advice for me? To get her to use it?

AskDocWeb: You could explain that of course she doesn’t need it, or ice cream either. It’s not always a question of need. Many things in life are not needed, coffee, your favorite sports, TV shows, etc. but even so these things are still pleasurable.

Orexia cream
Date: 9/27/2006
I bought orexia cream and experienced the scariest most horrible reaction…my whole body from toes all the way to my ears turned red and hot and my chest became tight…I had to take a benadryl as well as my inhaler before I felt relief…it has already been over an hour and my skin is still red hot and itching and burning and swollen…this is not good. What could give this reaction and shouldn’t there be some kind of warning…it is really a horrible way to end, what was thought was going to be something that would create pleasure not discomfort and even pain(also there was really no heightened orgasmic feeling! it just felt as if I was “tighter” or “swollen ” in that area!!! What a let down!

Oral sex
Date: 10/23/2006
I have just purchased vigorelle for me and my wife. Is it ok to have oral sex? That is one reason why I ordered it. Can she have an orgasm when I perform oral sex on her after applying the cream?

AskDocWeb: Yes, that’s one of the things the manufacturer seems to have intended.

When to apply Vigorelle
Date: 12/4/2006
I just ordered this product in hopes it works, do you have to apply it while having sex or can you put it on a few minutes before so not to let your partner know you are applying it, sometimes men feel that if you need “extra Help” they aren’t doing something right.

AskDocWeb: That is so true. And yes, if you want to you can apply Vigorelle a few minutes before sex. Think of it as a warm up.
