Faintness, dizziness, and heart palpitations

Was on kirkland minox5%..seen some results but side effects hav began after 6months..faintness, dizziness, heart palpitation and after two days chest pain…am now off..been 4 days now slight improvement from side effects…can I completely reduce the amount of minox..and what size should I cut off to..pliz help..thanks

Continuously losing hair

Hii sir..this is Chandu age 25 I suffering from hair loss from 4months…i consulted a doctor he prescribed me minoxidol hair joy, biotaplus tablets I am using the medicine from 2 months..but no change my hair is continuously losing when I taking head bath and when I combed my hair…please say me the solution to regrow hair. Is this hairjoy is best solution or not I saw another product hair 4u which is best.

Excessive hair loss is a symptom of a number of medical problems that require attention which is why we recommend getting a complete medical checkup, especially for those under 30 who have excessive hair loss.
Minoxidil takes 3 to 6 months to start showing new hair growth. However, the instructions say to check with your doctor if hair loss continues beyond 2 weeks of use.

Will my hair become dependent?

Hello (sorry for my bad english). I’m a 22 year old man who have been using rogaine for a week. Then I have read a lot of terrifying forums about initial shedding etc.. I wan’t to stop immediatly, but have my hair become dependent? If I stop now, will I regrow hair that have been lost because of rogaine? Best regards

AskDocWeb: Yes, if you stop using it the re-grown hair will gradually fall out over a period of months. That’s why they call it a treatment rather than a cure.

Hiii I have been using the minoxidil 5oil for hair loss control since 4months. I m getting good results its but I confuse which shampoo I can use with it and during this period my facial hair is bit growing. Is it possible it is not more harm my face. Plz answer to encourage me

AskDocWeb: The manufacturer does not specify a specific shampoo. Although we recommend Nisim any shampoo that supports healthy hair growth would work.

In a study conducted in Germany (funded by Pfizer Group) dermatologists conducted a 1-year observational study in 984 men with male-pattern hair loss. At the end of 1 year dermatologists reported that hair loss areas of the scalp had become:
smaller in 62% of the patients,
unchanged in 35.1% and
larger in 2.9%.
Evaluating the effectiveness of minoxidil in stimulating hair regrowth, the investigators found the 5% solution:
very effective in 15.9% of patients,
effective in 47.8%,
moderately effective in 20.6% and
ineffective in 15.7%.
At the end of the study the mean score of patient satisfaction on a scale of 0 (extremely dissatisfied) to 10 (very satisfied) was 4.4.
