Subj: Amazing results, but
Date: 10/20/2004
I have been taking procerin for about 3 months and have had amazing results. But one thing that has started to worry me is I have been having trouble getting a full erection and there is a slight pain when I do. I have looked this up this condition on the web (thank God for the web) and it seems there is a name for a similar problem called Peyronies disease its not a big problem YET but am wondering if this can be caused by the long use of Prcerin.
Robert
AskDocWeb: This is the first we have heard of that possibility. Although we haven’t come across any references to this, we will be on watch for it.
Subj: No improvements
Date: 10/25/2004
I have been using Procerin for approximately 2.5 months now.. absolutely no improvements in my hair loss — no regrowth, and no slowdown in loss. AND, to top it off, I also experienced a decrease in sex drive.

Subj: Concerned
Date: 11/7/2004
just want to start by saying that I think that you are a great advantage to people like myself and all the others that are giving you feed back. It’s good to know that professionals like yourself are conducting such tests to answer what a lot of us can only hope for, relying on the tempting marketing campaigns that companies set out.
I am 25 yrs old and been fighting hair loss for about 6 years. I must say that up until now I’ve been quite successful in fighting my hair loss, even though I had my ups & downs. After reading the feed back, I am extremely concerned about using procerin. The bad thing is that I ordered a 3 month supply two days before reading your site. I just want to know on what your personal opinion is about this product going by the feed back you have received? I must honestly say that it is A GREAT CONCERN!
Lorry
AskDocWeb: Just telling us that it is “a great concern” doesn’t tell us what your concern is about. Please be specific. You can read our recommendation here.
Subj: Brazilian guy
Date: 11/10/2004
Hello, I’m a Brazilian guy and here in my country, just exist propecia and minoxidil, both not so good in my opinion. I have find your research really great. Could you tell me if Shen-min really works to stop hair loss and re-growth of all hair, of preference in percentage? And the same about Procerin, at least with the information you have so far? Please, I’m worried that ended my chances against baldness. I’m loosing hair really fast.
Felipe
AskDocWeb: Feedbacks from Procerin users indicate it is worth trying. They have a 90-day money back guarantee. Please read the feedback about Shen-min.
Subj: Hair not falling out but scalp itch
Date: 11/13/2004
I’m 31 and have been receeding for yrs?typical male pattern baldness says my dr., I’ve been taking procerin for a little over a week now as directed. I have noticed my hair feels thicker and healthy now and seems to not be falling out as it was?but I am noticing some scalp itch, is this normal? Any others report this? Is this a sign of follicles unclogging? Thanks, I’ll keep u guys posted.
Derek
AskDocWeb: Yes, others have mentioned scalp itch. One person wondered if the sensation in the scalp could be that they were feeling their hair grow. I don’t know if that is possible but it is a fun idea.
Subj: Strange sensation on tongue
Date: 11/15/2004
Hi, I’ve been using Procerin for about 2.5 months now to slow down balding on top of my head. It’s hard to tell whether it’s helped much at this point, but for the last few days I’ve been experiencing a strange sensation on my tongue. It feels overly sensitive, as if I got it burned. I constantly have a somewhat sour/bitter feeling in my mouth. Have you heard anything about this? Do you think Procerin could be the cause? Thank you.
Alex
AskDocWeb: Yes, two other men have reported the same symptom while taking Procerin. Many herbs and drugs cause a sour or bitter taste in the mouth. You can learn more here.
Subj: Shedding and Propecia
Date: 11/18/2004
I have been taking propecia for 6 weeks and there seems to be a lot of shedding. I have lost more hair in those 6 weeks than the last four years. (That’s when it all started). Do you think that if I stop using it that hair will grow back, or should I stick to it? Or probably combine it with Advecia or Procerin? Please tell me what would be best. Thank You,
John
AskDocWeb: It would be nice to be able to tell you what is best for you, but that’s not why we are here. We collect comments on procerin so that people can read what actual users say about it. Whatever you try, other men would like to know how well it works.
Subj: Giving Procerin a try
Date: 11/22/2004
Hi, I just ordered my 3 months of Procerin. Do you still need volunteer for the study? I am asian, 30 yrs, and began to see hair thinning/lost for about 3-4 years. I tried different shampoo and tonic, did not work. I read thru your website for comments and finally decided to give Procerin a try. Let me know if you still need participant for this research. Thanks,
Mike
AskDocWeb: Our study on Procerin is closed to new participants but you can still leave feedback on how well it works for you.
Subj: African American male trying Procerin
Date: 11/22/2004
I am a 43 year African American male. I have been thinning for the last 2 years. I just purchased a 1 month supply of Procerin. I will need to get a 3rd party to take my pictures. My wife thinks that balding is sexy and does not want me to do anything. I will keep you posted.

Subj: New hairs growing
Date: 11/24/2004
I’ve been using Procerin for about three weeks now in conjunction with minoxidil, and I can see lots of thin, tiny, new hairs growing. My hair also feels softer and shinier.

Subj: Quitting 101D – Starting Procerin
Date: 11/25/2004
I just ordered a 3month supply of Procerin. I am 34 yr. old male who has been having thinning of the hair in the middle of the head. I have been using the famous 101D formula but did not see any markedly effects. Therefore I have decided to use this drug to see it results. Thanks,
Taimoore
Subj: Accutain and Procerin
Date: 11/27/2004
Three months ago I started taking the drug accutain. I know this drug can cause hair loss but I have had thinning hair before I started on the drug. My question is, can I take both drugs together without having any harsh interactions?
Dave
AskDocWeb: That would be pretty hard to say if you haven’t taken an allergy test that included all of the ingredients. Remember that Procerin is a combination of herbs and minerals, not a drug.
Subj: Is taking Procerin safe
Date: 11/29/2004
I have read through all the reviews, especially the ones involving guys my age, 30, and all I really need to know, and I hope you can answer this question… Is taking Procerin safe, health wise? Thank you in advance for a definitive answer…
M
AskDocWeb: Sorry, we can’t give you a definitive answer. Like we said above, this product is a combination of herbs and minerals. The more ingredients in an herbal product, the more chance someone will have an allergy to one of the ingredients. We encourage you to read the list of ingredients so you know what you are taking. Even with that qualifier, we do believe it is safe for most people.
Subj: Advecia or procerin?
Date: 11/29/2004
I have frontal hair loss, I’m 30. I don’t know whether to buy advecia or procerin. Advecia sounds good but it doesn’t mention anything about blocking dht. Propecia sounds great but they don’t mention that is it gives nutrition to follicles. Maybe use both?
David
AskDocWeb: Several men have said that they were going to use both and we see no reason why you can’t. If you do that, please check back in a few months to let us know how it’s going.
Subj: Procerin without the ginseng
Date: 12/3/2004
I’ve taking procerin for two weeks, I was feeling some heart’s pains on the first week, but now it’s all gone, just starting back to exercise. But now I need to know: without the ginseng, could procerin cause some sexual side effects? Please send me the answer.
Felipe
AskDocWeb: Sorry Felipe, but we don’t have time for individual personal replies. Also, we don’t speculate on the effects of changing the ingredients in any product.
Subj: Which product is most effective?
Date: 12/9/2004
“the Hairlosstalk website is not a neutral party because it does sell hair loss products.” This was the quote from you on page 11 from 6/29/2004. How can we say that your comments are neutral if your website sell the products as well but not only promoting your product? I have read the most of questions and comments on the forum. And they were very helpful. In your opinion which product is most EFFECTIVE? And please tell me what you think about Avacor. Thanks.
John
AskDocWeb: The most effective product for hair loss is (in our opinion) the drug, Propecia. However, there are some tragic side effects possible with that drug and you can NOT buy it here. We published an in depth
Report on Avacor a few years ago and our opinion has not changed since then. We think it is an expensive source of minoxidil.
Subj: Something to watch for
Date: 12/10/2004
I am a 50 year old healthy male. After taking procerin for about 5 weeks, I started to experience an acute discomfort in the right and left thighbone. this pain was neuro-muscular (not genital). At first I didn’t associate ingesting this substance with said pain. However, after abstaining from Procerin for a few days, I noticed the discomfort abated. Then I would return to the drug and the pain in my left and right upper femur (thighbone area) would return. After doing this several more times (abstaining from and then returning to Procerin) I noticed a one to one correlation re the aforementioned pain.
Jules
AskDocWeb: It sounds like Procerin is not going to work for you. By the way, Procerin is not a drug. It’s an herbal supplement.
Subj: Advecia, Procerin or Revivogen?
Date: 12/12/2004
I am 22 and have noticed hair loss and receding in my hairline for the past year. I have hair loss in my family and I don’t want to lose my hair. I have checked out many products and I am wondering which one do you recommend. I am debating to either get Advecia, Revivogen, or procerin? Please help.
Leo
AskDocWeb: Those three products do different things in different ways. Whatever you choose, we recommend staying with it for three to six months then share your results with the other guys here. Advecia gives your body the vitamins and minerals it needs to grow hair, Procerin blocks the DHT from the inside and Revivogen is suppose to block the DHT from the outside (it’s applied to the surface of the scalp).
Answer update 5/24/07: If you are considering Revivogen, do yourself a favor and read the disclaimer page on Revivogen’s website. Read more feedback about Procerin
