Subj: 2 ½ months – Wesley
Date: 1/2/2005
I started Procerin use about two and a half months ago. I studied the ingredients carefully and did my own research on them. I reckoned that if it didn’t do any good, it probably wouldn’t do any harm. I am a male, 50 yrs old, moderate drinker and smoker, fit for my age and with a good diet. I am greying with classic middle years hair loss–some recession at the temples and rather thin on the crown. It seemed spurious to report in to you until I was nearer to three months into the experiment, since as we know, hair-growth cycles are three months.
I also began washing my hair twice a week with Nizorelle(for normal hair). Here are my findings so far:
I noticed after about three weeks that my hair was in rather better condition and behaving in a more controllable manner.
My nails are growing faster. This may be my imagination but following a period of slight depression, I felt generally more cheerful and energetic.
I did not experience any of the stomach upsets other users have reported, but then, I always take the pills with food.
I haven’t, so far as I know, experienced any of the shedding which other users have reported. As for my hair itself: Taking into account my age, I did not expect instant results and haven’t been anxiously studying it on a daily basis. However, after the two and a half month period, I certainly haven’t LOST any more (I felt I’d been losing a little more over the six months preceding Procerin use. I have noticed some very short white hairs growing on my temples. I am unable to study the crown in detail, except by using two mirrors.

However, the circle of hair loss viewed from above does not seem quite as obvious as it was. If I haven’t gained any hair, I certainly haven’t lost any and the earlier accelerated loss seems to have temporarily slowed down, or even halted.
I feel that I haven’t really given Procerin a long enough trial yet and halfway down my third bottle, will be ordering another three months supply shortly because I do feel that it works in some measure. I will update this report in two or three months. I hope this info is of some use to you.

Subj: Smokers
Date: 1/5/2005
How well will I absorb the pill if I am a smoker, I imagine that I would have better luck quitting cigarettes.

Casey

AskDocWeb: Your body doesn’t stop absorbing things just because you are a smoker. On the other hand, the ability of those who don’t smoke to absorb nutrients is suppose to be better. Think of it as another reason to quit.

Subj: What about this?
Date: 1/5/2005
What about those sites that say procerin is a hox and the hipe and consumer feedback is created by procerin affiliates?

Sarah

AskDocWeb: The only site that says that seems to be run by a drug dealer. He would have you join him in his illegal activities by buying so-called “generic finasteride” but what he doesn’t tell you is that there is no such thing. What you would be buying is a counterfeit drug made in a foreign country. Importing that counterfeit into the United States is a federal crime.

Subj: Procerin and Avacor
Date: 1/8/2005
Is Procerin really a good supplement to try? I started taking it along with Avacor though I think that Avacor seems to be a fake. Is that ok?

Roger

AskDocWeb: It is our opinion that it is okay to try Procerin but it is not okay to waste money on Avacor. The only active ingredient in Avacor seems to be Rogaine and you can get that for a lot less money at your local drugstore.

Subj: Older men?

Date: 1/11/2005

what about men in their 50s?

Jim

AskDocWeb: Yes, you can use Procerin if you are in your 50s, although only 60% of men in that age group were happy with their results. Remember to let us know how you come out.

Subj: Results of your procerin study

Date: 1/14/2005

Hello AskDocWeb, How is your study coming along on Procerin? I am looking forward on your findings because I am interested in trying this product. Any side effects? I saw your ads on the web but there is no comments from people who have tried this for the year 2005. I would very much like to know your results. Thanks very much.

Rey

AskDocWeb: About 70% of all men who tried it are still using Procerin. You can read the results here.

Subj: Was very skeptical about Procerin
Date: 1/30/2005
I was very skeptical about using Procerin. After I ordered it I found out that the pages I was reading were altered by the producer of Procerin. Had I known that I wouldn’t have ordered it. Well, now to the surprising part… It’s working after a week. I can tell the hair on my temples and on the top of my head is getting thicker. I can see some new hair growing where it had receded on my hairline. My hairloss was not too bad. I have never had a comment on losing it, but I could tell that I was. I had some on my hand after I shampooed and I could see it thinning. I’m 20, so my hair is still early in its growth phase. I also use Loreal Vive Thickening Shampoo for Men. This combination has worked wonders. I am not saying that it is going to work for everyone, but it has for me. I don’t feel forced to wear a hat anymore, its something I thought that only a hair transplant would fix. The pills don’t have a horrable after taste either. I am satisfied, it was money (I don’t have alot either) that was well spent.

Subj: Question
Date: 2/3/2005
Hi, I am a man 48 years old. I used PROPECIA tablet for 4 month and regrowth my hair but I got weight 127 kg. is procerin like propecia?

Kazem

AskDocWeb: No, Procerin is an herbal alternative to the drug Propecia. You need a doctor’s prescription for Propecia but not for Procerin.

Subj: Antibiotics and Procerin
Date: 2/4/2005
I was wondering if I am taking antibiotic drugs(for my cold) can I take procerin as well?

Ilan

AskDocWeb: Yes, you can.

Subj: Taking vitamins with Procerin
Date: 2/7/2005
Hi, I am interested in trying the procerin out. But I know the product has zinc and magnesium in it. I already take a one a day mens vitamin with some zinc and magnesium. Won’t taking this product bring me over the safe limit?

Nick
AskDocWeb: That depends on how much of each mineral is supplied by your multi-product. Procerin supplies 5mg of zinc per pill. Your total intake of zinc should not exceed 500mg. Magnesium acts as a laxative in large doses so you will know if you get too much.

Subj: Combining Procerin with hair force
Date: 2/9/2005
I’m 17 and I am experiencing thinning hair and a receding hairline. I am interested in procerin, and I have just purchased a product called hair force, which is a prairie naural product. I was wondering if you have any information about this product and its effectiveness? It doesn’t contain saw palmetto like procerin, which makes me a little skeptical about using it. And would combining the two be harmful? Thanks,

Joe
AskDocWeb: Sorry, we don’t have anything on hair force and without knowing what it is, we can’t comment about using it with Procerin.

Subj: Chest pains and shivers
Date: 2/9/2005
Hey I just received my Procerin, although I heard bad reports about the bottles/pills etc, they looked pretty professional to me. I have only started using it and am up to my fourth day without any side effects until last night. I took my two pills at about 11 o’clock then had a beer, I then woke up at about 3 in the morning with chest pains and bad shivers. The thing was that I was not cold and I couldn’t control it. It went away after about 15 minutes but it was a bit worrying. I have taken the one this morning and feel fine. Any ideas?? Cheers,

Paul
AskDocWeb: You might try reducing the nighttime dose to just one for awhile to let your body get used to the Procerin.

Subj: The monk?
Date: 2/10/2005
Hi, I am 33 year old male. My hair loss is minimal, at the very top of my head, almost like a patch is missing. Is this the beginning of “the monk” hair recession. Do I need to start taking hair growth now or am I just being paranoid?

Andrew
AskDocWeb: If it looks like a patch is missing, that does not sound like you are being paranoid. You might want to start looking for something that works for you.

Subj: 21 year old
Date: 2/14/2005
Im 21 years old and I’ve been taking procerin for about a year now. I noticed my hair thinning when I was 19 or so. I never had any side effects at all with the pills. I think that procerin slowed down the hair loss, but I definetely still lost hair. For the last 2 months I haven’t taken any because Im tired of worrying about my hair all the time. Within the next month I’ll decide to shave my head or start taking it again. I just wish their was a sure way to stop it…Goodluck guys,

Brad

Subj: Does Procerin thicken hair
Date: 2/15/2005
I haven’t lost that much hair, but it’s thinning, does procerin thicken hair as well as prevent loss?

G

AskDocWeb: Our study indicated that Procerin thickens hair in about a third of the men who try it.

Subj: Parting spot?
Date: 2/17/2005
I am 17 years old and have a bald spot on the back right corner of my head. Some people tell me that its just the spot where I part my hair and its nothing to worry about, but others say its really big to just be a parting spot? Please help and let me know what to do.

Tom

AskDocWeb: Sounds like you are beginning to lose your hair. I think that most men start by parting their hair differently to make it less noticeable. If it bothers you, it might be a good time to start reading up on hair loss products.

Subj: Effectiveness of combining products for hair loss
Date: 2/19/2005
Hey I am only 17, and have a receeding hairline. How effective will procerin be with a combination of minoxidle 5%? I hope to regrow hair.

Darren

AskDocWeb: Sorry Darren, we don’t have the resources to track the effectiveness of combining all the different products for hair loss on the market. What we can do is post your results so that others can benefit from your experience.

Subj: Charlie
Date: 2/22/2005
I am a 34year old male who has been losing hair for about a year I went to the hair club for men and purchased their EXT treatment, it stopped my hair loss and grew some hair back but I wanted better results so I started taking propecia and got even better results, but the side effects were low desire for sex and testicular pain so I stopped the propecia. I just ordered a 3month supply of procerin I will keep you posted.

Charlie

Subj: 23 year old male
Date: 2/24/2005
I am a male age 23. I have been losing my hair noticeably since I was about 19, though the thinning and receeding has sped up in the past 2 years. I read your web-site and thought maybe I would give procerin a try. Any thoughts on wether or not it will work given that I have done nothing for 4 years?

Mike

AskDocWeb: The only way to know for sure is to give it a try. You have the advantage of being 23, that helps. Read more feedback about Procerin
