Subj: Noticeable regrowth
Date: 2/26/2005
My experience with Procerin has been a good one. I went into it somewhat skeptical, but was willing to give it a try, as I was unhappy with my thinning hair. I’m just starting month three, and there is a noticeable regrowth of hair, especially in the front. I just turned 42, and I just ordered another 6 month supply. Thank you Procerin!

Subj: Good information
Date: 2/26/2005
I was actually looking for information on Avacor today, but came across your web-site and found some good information on the product Procerin. I recently turned 40 and have been gradually loosing my hair since the age of 34. I’ve always heard that hairloss is hereditary, but I’m not quite so sure now. Is it doc? I’ve tried Rogaine a few years back, but not long enough to see any tangible results. Now, based on the comments on the site, and the fact that Procerin is primarily an all-natural product, I’ve ordered my three month supply. It should hopefully arrive next week. I’m really looking forward to trying this product and hope that I’m also in that 88% percentile of successes. Hair loss is an extremely difficult thing to accept, at least for me anyway. Loosing my hair has caused me to change my lifestyle, activities, etc, due to the fact that I’m so subconscience about it. I’d be most happy to partake in this case study.

Subj: 20 year old
Date: 2/26/2005
I am a 20 year old male and I find the biggest stress factor in my life is my receded hair line. It seemed to occur all in one year, from a perfect full head to an inch lost on each temple. My father is over 60 and has more hair then I do, that is why this is such a surprise to me. My grandfather on my mothers side is 75 and still has some hair… not a lot, but average for his age. For the past year I have been taking concerta, an add medication based on ritilan. Is there any relation? I ordered a 3 month supply and I hope it will help. It’s depressing to have this concern at such a young age, if it doesn’t work I am willing to go to more drastic measures.

Subj: Itching on back
Date: 2/28/2005
I have started to take procerin few weeks ago and have been taking procerin 1 month ago. I have seen hair spurt out from my back, front and has even made my sex life wild and hairy. Is this common? I feel like an ape when I am walking around. I am itching all over my back and from my chest. Is that a side effect? My genitals are looking much more hairier and more longer than ever. Can you advise

Matlock

AskDocWeb: No this isn’t common. In regards to the itching, sounds like you might be having an allergic reaction. You could either quit or try cutting back from 3 pills a day to two and see if that makes a difference.

Subj: 6 months of Procerin
Date: 3/1/2005
I have been using procerin for six months now. I definitely experienced a larger than usual amount of hair falling out in the first two months, after that the shedding tapered off, hair loss was more or less halted around the middle of the fourth month. I am now in the early stage of month six and I have started losing hair again. It occurred to me that procerin could be slowly reversing the hair loss process, I’ll explain. When I started losing hair at 21, it would happen in stages, then as I grew older falling out stages increased until it was constant, and I was losing small amounts of hair each day. It seems as though I may be back to losing hair in stages again and logically thinking maybe the hair loss may taper off completely. I hope this is not wishful thinking on my part, but it does seem logical to me. I have not experienced any regrowth to date. Just a lot of peach fuzz which I did not have before. As I stated earlier I started losing hair at about 21. I had very thick straight hair. I have slowly lost hair since then, and I am 30 now, but still have a lot of hair, it has just thinned out a great deal and I have the recceding hair line in the temple area. I feel procerin works, but probably not as good as Speedwinds claims. They probably massaged there numbers a bit. I’d like to here what you think of my situation, ie. losing hair in stages, and I’ll let you no if this second shedding period of mine tapers off. Thanks

Subj: Procerin study

Date: 3/2/2005

Hi: I am recently using Procerin (since 27 February 2005) and I would like to see some photograph statement or testimony about Procerin results. Can you give me this to my email? I have read your Study and although your study was closed I could report you how Procerin works for me (Included some photograph)

Waldo

AskDocWeb: Sorry Waldo, we don’t have time to send out individual answers. You are welcome to report your results and we will continue to post them so others can benefit from your experience.

After looking at several so called before and after photos, and talking to graphics experts, we decided that photographs are not really evidence at all. Photographs are so easily faked and edited that they are useless as far as evidence is concerned. We advise you not to rely on before and after photos if you want real evidence. If something sounds like it might work and it has a money back guarantee then give it a try. If it doesn’t work then you get your money back. If it does work then you have your proof.

Subj: Happy with Procerin
Date: 3/2/2005
We bought Procerin for our two sons, aged 19 and 21, who were beginning to battle receding hairlines and thinning hair. Both of them reported not only slowed hair loss, but thicker hair growth, and no side effects at all. We are happy with the product and recommend it.

Subj: Stomach problems
Date: 3/2/2005
I started to notice a thinning at the back of my scalp, so I recently started taking procerin, and am experiencing stomach problems, having read the information on this site, it could be down to the amount of saw palmetto. It is recommend 3 tablets daily for procerin, I might try 2 tablets and see the results, as hopefully that may stem the loss. Does anybody recommend a good shampoo which helps keep a healthy scalp. Also trying to decrease amount of stress in life. Hope everyone finds what they are looking for.

Subj: About to have hair transplant
Date: 3/7/2005
Hi, I’m 51 and about to have a hair transplant. The Dr. also says to take propecia but I would like to try your product. Thanks,

Ed

AskDocWeb: Sorry, Ed, we don’t sell anything. Procerin is just one of the dozens of products we report on. It is made by Speedwinds Nutrition, in Seattle, Washington.

It would be great if you could come back and share your transplant experience with those of us who haven’t been through one.

Subj: Remarkable regrowth
Date: 3/8/2005
I have been using procerin for 6 months with no additional treatments. I have seen remarkable regrowth! Before using procerin, my hair had thinned dramatically in just a couple of months. My temples had receeded and my hair was VERY thin in the front and on the crown of my head. I was freaked out but didn’t want to use any chemically products like propecia or rogaine.

From what I have read on this site it doesn’t work for everyone, but it did wonders for me! Definitely worth a try. But you have to give it at least six months to see the kind of result I have seen. Good luck!

Subj: Hairline and after effects
Date: 3/9/2005
Alright, I’m a 1st year medical student from CA, and for the life of me I can’t solve my ‘cunch’. A few things I would like to know, for anyone who has the answers. (1) Do these drugs procerin and propecia have any proven beneficial effects for just a receding hairline? (2) If you stop taking the drugs, somewhere down the line, the products clearly state your hair will fall out again. My question: does this mean hair will fall out as if you just resumed normal physiology without procerin, almost like you time-delayed the process? Or, would hairloss be greater and more frequent than a person’s normal rate of hairloss? I’ve been looking for research evidence showing how DHT antagonists act on up-regulation of it’s receptor, or on any other hormones influenced by testosterone…but not a lot is there…any ideas?

Jimmy

AskDocWeb: 1. First, a correction: Procerin is a herbal compound, not a drug. Neither will do much for your hairline (Procerin or Propecia). 2. From what we have been able to find; when you discontinue a hairloss product that has been working, you go through a period of increased shedding that lasts up to a year and then resume normal hair loss as if you were never on them.

Subj: FDA approval
Date: 3/18/2005
I am a 29 yr old male. I have been taking Propecia for about 4 years now. My hair has more or less maintained itself. I do lose hair but it seems that it has greatly approved since 4 years ago. Recently I heard about Procerin. I called them to see if they are FDA approved, they answered that since it is a Natural product, they don’t need FDA approval?(They also said that they are better than Propecia since they are cheaper) Is this correct about their FDA approval? I am planning to take Procerin along with Propecia. Thanks,

Danny

AskDocWeb: Yes, that is correct. The FDA does not approve or disapprove of natural products like herbs.

Procerin can’t be that dangerous because it pretty much is a vitamin. Anyways I’ve had some hair loss on a and off for the past 4 years and I’m looking at procerin as a precaution because I don’t want to be bald though I have no one bald in my entire family

I’ve been using it for 2 weeks along with high dosages of Vitamin B-Complex and I have noticed faster growing hair and less fallout. But I think its still too early to tell if Procerin is a really working yet though, but I just wanted to let everyone know there shouldn’t be any danger using this product unless your allergic to one of its ingredients.
