Subj: Thinning hair problem
Date: 8/10/2005
Does procerin work for men with thinning hair problem? Thanks!
Tim
AskDocWeb: Yes, it works for about 7 out of 10 men.
Subj: Combining hair loss treatments?
Date: 8/15/2005
I was just wondering if it would be safe or ok to combine procerin with hair genesis. I was mainly researching Avacor, but heard to many negatives on it. Then I heard that hair genesis was good. Just wondering your input? Thanks,
Steve
AskDocWeb: The only thing we have against combining hair loss treatments is, how do you know which one is working? But, in this case we recommend avoiding Hair Genesis. You might save your money if you read their guarantee very carefully before deciding anything.
Subj: Numbers don’t add up
Date: 8/16/2005
Your numbers, positive Vs negative total 154%. While this fact this does not inspire confidence in your assessments, maybe I’m missing something and would be interested in hearing an explanation.
Dave
AskDocWeb: It sounds like you went through the data too fast to realize that some men had both positive and negative things to say about this product. Sorry it’s not a clear-cut case of yes or no. We did say the results were mixed.
Subj: Hair loss stopped completely then
Date: 8/17/2005
I have been taking Procerin for about 3 months. The first 2.5 months my hair loss stopped completely – and my hair was looking really a lot thicker in the crown. Since, the shedding process seems to have started and it’s getting thinner a lot faster than before. Is it possible this has something to do with the hair cycle? Has anyone reported after the shedding stops the condition of their hair?
Jeff
AskDocWeb: Yes, men have reported that with continued use the shedding stops, both with Procerin and with Propecia.
Subj: Which hair loss treatment?
Date: 8/17/2005
Im 24 years old. My hair is beginning to recede. I want to take something to stop the loss. The loss is not significant but I notice it! I see a lot of my hair in my hand when I shampoo. I wanted to know if I take something like Procerin and discontinue use will I start losing hair again? What has been the best product review by Askdocweb? Thank you for your help,
Modesto
AskDocWeb: The drug Propecia has the best hair growth results and the worst side effects. The supplement Procerin came in second but as with any hairloss product, you will start losing your hair again once you discontinue use.

Hello, I am considering trying out the procerin hair tablets and want to know are there any possibility of any side effects. I used nutrifolica for nearly a year and it hasn’t worked as effective as it claimed which is also a DHT blocker so what I want to know is, how could this be better as these are both herbal and is there any difference in the ingredients? Thanks,
Manpreet
AskDocWeb: That is kind of like saying that all herbal products are alike, or that all drugs are alike. Obviously that is not the case. There is a difference in ingredients and each will produce different results.
Subj: Gout and Procerin?
8/24/2005
I have “gout” disease for ten years. And I have taken Procerin for two weeks. During these two weeks, my gout disease occurred to hurt me (on my feet). As a result, I doubt whether Procerin have some relation to gout. Do you have any experience about such a problem like me?
Jason
AskDocWeb: None that we know about but if anyone has the same problem, please let us know.

Is true what people have said on this forum about stopping hairloss, are they real people not sales people? I’m currently taking Procerin…been taking them for about 2weeks…hairline seems worse!
Matthew
AskDocWeb: Yes, they are as real as you are and are just as concerned about hair loss. Please let others know how you fair with this product. You won’t see any results one way or the other after only two weeks. The effects won’t show up for several weeks at best, more like a few months.
Subj: Hair Genesis VS Procerin
8/27/2005
I have just purchased procerin mostly based on a comparison I read between procerin and three other products. I have just read a information by Hair Genesis that made comments that the study I read was by a company owned by Procerin and that pictures used by Procerin are not of people who used their product. Can you answer this because I don’t feel real good about the purchase.
Sal
AskDocWeb: Pictures are too easy to fake and that’s why we don’t rely on them as proof of any product’s effectiveness. You need to be careful about the source of your information. Competitors often do not have good things to say about one another and sometimes they end up in court when they get too nasty. We try to stay out of such situations and focus on feedback from the end users of the products. Read what the actual users say and make up your own mind.
Subj: Procerin with a big breakfast?
8/28/2005
Is it ok to take procerin at the same time as I eat a big breakfast, it won’t have any effects on its use. What are the chances it will fill in my widow’s peak
Ross
AskDocWeb: Yes, you can take it with your breakfast, it won’t have any affect on its use. As for what it does to your widow’s peak, that’s something we would like to hear more about.
Subj: Just started
8/28/2005
I started taking Procerin yesterday and am anxious to see if it will help my hair loss. I have been experiencing a minor upset stomach and some dizziness when I stand up. Does anyone have any idea if these side effects will lessen/go away as my body gets used to the Saw Palmetto?
Dan
AskDocWeb: Others have reported that such side effects diminished and then disappeared over 7 to 10 days. If they continue we suggest you discontinue use.
Subj: 31 year black man
8/29/2005
I am 31 year black afro Caribbean male from England and have recently received a six month supply of procerin from the USA with a free six month supply of nutrifolica(contains saw palmetto) of ebay. I also received a 3 month supply of Regaine (5%minoxidil).
I started losing my hair at 20 I still have a good head of hair but am thinning round the temples, forehead and more recently the crown. I am in week one of using the trio products three pills of procerin a day regaine(topical solution) in the morning and nutrifolica topical solution)at night. I will keep you guys posted as to the results. I remember reading about an African American who wondered if procerin works well for us(those of African decent)as well as Europeans answer, I don’t know but hope to find out soon.
I also wish to share the fact that I spent £2700 English pounds roughly $4650 on a cold laser therapy (siting under a laser lamp) for an hour a week for about 10 months. I also had to use a generic minoxidil solution everyday. Well admittedly it seemed to slow down my hair loss but after 10 months I got a new girlfriend and could not be bothered to keep traveling 140 mile a week. I quit with 2 months left of my programme to go, needless to say my hair started to thin again.
I believe now that the minoxidil alone helped to slow down my hairloss but did not regrow hair that I could notice. The laser therapy was an expensive waste of time. My advice try the alternatives first check for side effects before spending thousands. I also spent £450 approximately $780 on a six month supply of a drug called dutaseride. I think in USA they call it advodart. It is similar to propecia but supposedly with less side effects. Well first of all I lost interest in sex and became virtually impotent unless there was some major stimulus. My semen, now this freaked me out, became watery. This I believe happens to blokes/men who take female hormones. I stopped after 3 months and did not notice any hair growth. My research has shown that minoxidil and propecia(finasteride)are clinically approved by the FDA to combat hairloss. I believe that one should try a product which is proven to work in conjunction with an alternative such as procerin or revivogen etc and take it from there. Do not waste thousands like I did. If that fails then god knows I may consider a frontal transplant but that’s drastic. I am literally praying this works wish me luck!
Headley
AskDocWeb: Good luck Headley! If you are considering Revivogen, please read the disclaimer page on Revivogen’s website first.
Subj: Procerin and sleep
9/1/2005
I have been using Procerin for a few days, since I started I find that I can’t sleep, have you had this problem with anyone else? Thanks,
Cyril
AskDocWeb: Two men have reported sleeping problems. It is not known if this will go away or not. One guy said he quit because of it and the other didn’t say how he handled it.
Subj: Procerin
9/2/2005
I’ve been using Procerin for 2 weeks. I notice a lot of hair falling out since I started. Is this the “Shedding” phase?? If so how long does this usually last? Please let me know.
M
AskDocWeb: Two weeks is not enough time for any kind of results to happen. You are probably just paying more attention to it.
Subj: Alternative saw palmetto?
9/3/2005
I am looking into trying something now too. I do have a question though. If I was to take pure Saw Palmetto tablets would that have the same effect as using Procerin? Each Table contains 160mg of Saw Palmetto.
Michael
AskDocWeb: No it won’t because each Procerin table contains 500 mg of saw palmetto. You also won’t be getting the other ingredients in Procerin. Read more feedback about Procerin
