Subj: Procerin to Iran?
Date: 10/4/2005
Hi, I am in Iran and want to order Procerin for my hair loss. What should I do? I started to lose my hair these last 3 months. Thanks,
Mehdi
AskDocWeb: Procerin ships worldwide.
Subj: Procerin looks great
Date: 10/10/2005
I think I an already noticing a difference in just a few short weeks. Your product line looks great. I could really sell this stuff.
John
AskDocWeb:Thanks John but Procerin is not ours. It’s just one of the products we review here.
Subj: Receding hairline
Date: 10/11/2005
I am 20 and have been taking Propecia for a year and a half to fight my receding hairline. I am currently losing about 30-50 hairs after shampooing a day and probably another 30 the rest of the day. I have ordered a 3 month supply of Procerin and I am worried about if this will increase my shedding. If anybody has any advice for me please let me know. For those who have experienced shedding, how many hairs have they lost in a day? Also, for those who have taken Procerin and waited out the shedding period are there significant improvements afterwards?
Matt
AskDocWeb: A few men did have success with their hairline with Procerin but there just isn’t anything on the market that works well for that area. If that is your sole purpose in taking these products then I think you will be disappointed with whatever you try.
Subj: Happy with Procerin
Date: 10/12/2004
I have been taking procerin for six months now (after taking propecia for over two years) and I like not only the product but also the price! Two month supply of propecia and for the same money you get six months of procerin. But, that is only good if you get results which I have. Propecia did stop my hair loss, I was washing/combing out tons a day before starting it. I decided to try procerin (after reading this very same forum) due to the cost factor. I started out the first two months taking both propecia and procerin and then just procerin. I have not experience any hair loss nor any health problems. I am 53 years old and at this point I have a thick head of hair with the top of my head being just a little thinner. At this point I am very happy with procerin (just ordered another six month supply).

Subj: Product for hairline
Date: 10/14/2004
Hi, I recently purchased some procerin and have been using it for about 3 days, I’ve just read that it won’t help a receding hairline, my hairline is very slightly receded near my temples but I’m just using it to stop it further and try and regrow lost hair. Do you think this will work? If not is there anything else you can recommend to use? Thank you,
H
AskDocWeb: Procerin may slow or stop your hair loss in general but we are still looking for a product that will work well on a receding hairline. Sorry but there is nothing available that is guaranteed to work on this area.
Subj: Reason for hair loss?
Date: 10/14/2004
I have been using Procerin now for more than 1.5 months. I don’t see any signs of stopping of hair fall. My hair continues to fall at the same rate as what it was before trying Procerin. I don’t see any other reason for my hair fall, like dandruff, scalp trauma etc.
Rick
AskDocWeb: Most men’s hair loss is caused with the conversion of testosterone into DHT. The DHT causes the hair follicles to shrink, the hair gets thinner and eventually falls out. You can’t see the process, but you can see the result. Give it a couple of months and let us know.

Subj: Hair loss product

I am sat here (In UK) torn between procerin and the propecia + minoxidil. We have been well behind the states in using these products so it’s a nightmare to get independent advice. Would it be good to use procerin with minoxidil for safer results (i.e. less side effects) or is it better to go with propecia and minoxidil for better results. What is your impression? It’s a nightmare to choose. Also what do you think of laser treatment from advanced hair studio? They do very good adverts (sports stars) but cost a fortune?
Andy
AskDocWeb: We would recommend you try a combination of Procerin and Minoxidil before you try Propecia and Minoxidil. The sexual side effects of Propecia are, in our opinion, far too common. And try both of those combinations first before you break the bank with that laser treatment.

I have started taking procerin for one week now, I want to know when is it going to work and how am I going to know. Please let me know. Thanks,
Tej
AskDocWeb: It will take a few months to find out if it will work for you, be patient. You will know if it works by the reduction in hair loss and/or the growth of tiny new hairs. The new hair is typically light or white and gains color with time.
Subj: 18 with thinning hair
Date: 10/27/2004
My son is 18, his hair is thinning. His hair line is also receding. This has been noticeable for approx. 1 year. What do you advise? If he takes or uses products, will he need to forever? Thank you.
Lisa
AskDocWeb: Yes, all the hair loss products on the market today have to be used continuously to maintain the results.
Subj: Hair loss product ratings
Date: 10/27/2004
So, What is the consensus? This would be much more helpful if “ratings” were numbered and averaged… like other product feedback on the web. Sifting thru 18 pages is overwhelming!
Todd

Subj: Growth already!
Date: 10/28/2004
I have been using procerin for about 3 weeks and am noticing growth already. It is only tiny hairs above the temple area at my hair line and on my hair line at my forehead. It is enough to make me feel positive about the product for now. I can’t remember how long it has been since I have seen hair there! I am only 32 with minimal hair loss, but for only taking it for 3 weeks I am excited about it.

Subj: Affect of exercise on hair loss?
Date: 10/30/2004
Hi doc. I have just order some procerin and I was wondering what affect running and working out in the gym would have. Would I give my hair a better chance to stop falling out and regrow if I laid off the physical activity for a while. I’m 29 and my hair has been falling out for about the past 18 months. Thanks,
Adam
AskDocWeb: We have no data to suggest that physical activity affects hair loss one way or the other.
Subj: Blood pressure
Date: 10/30/2004
Can you take procerin if you’re taking high blood pressure pill and lipito and tricor.
Pete
AskDocWeb: Although we have not heard of any problems with blood pressure medication, any time you are taking prescription drugs you should ask your doctor before starting a supplement, in this case you need to ask about saw palmetto.
Subj: When to take hair loss product
Date: 11/1/2004
I am 45 years old, I have your product (6 mos.) What if a person took only two in the morning rather than…the one in the a.m. and two in the evening.
Shaun
AskDocWeb: Procerin is a product that we are researching and reporting on, but it is not ours. Reducing the dosage from three a day to two a day will reduce the effectiveness. Let us know how well it works for you.
Subj: Good results with Procerin
Date: 11/2/2005
I’ve been using Procerin now for about 6-7 months with good results and no side affects like I had while taking Propecia. Recently I’ve experienced a reduction in libido. I have not changed anything in regards to diet or medicines. Could Procerin be causing this issue now after 7 months of use?
Mike
AskDocWeb: It could but you should get a physical to make sure you don’t have another problem.
Subj: Procerin with Advecia
Date: 11/4/2005
I bought 3 months supply. After taking it with Advecia for about 2 weeks, my HDL dropped from 36 to 30 and my Triglycerides increased from 161 to 303. I was shocked and called my doctors but couldn’t find possible reasons. After 1 month hair losses seem a little less. Stopped for about 1 month on my vacation. Then re-take for about 1 month but hair losses got no improvement. So I stopped taking both. 2 months later I re-checked my HDL is back to 34 and Triglycerides down to 212. Hope these data are useful for others. To be sure this is not the case for you, consider doing a cholestrol test before and 1 month after taking procerin.
Oh, I forgot to mention I noticed some chest pain too. I even did a heart stress test but found no problem. Now I read others had some too.

Subj: Headaches
Date: 11/6/2005
I have been having headaches at times after taking Procerin. Have there been any other reports of this? Thanks…
Dan
AskDocWeb: Two others reported headaches with Procerin. You are the third out of about 700 men. Read more feedback about Procerin. Procerin Report – 20 – 21 – 22 – Page 23 – 24 – 25 – 26 – Last Page 80
