Subj: Vitamins for healthy hair?
Date: 2/18/2006
I am 24 years old and seem to be losing a considerable amount of my hair lately, I have read some of the feedback on procerin and was wondering about the vitamin deficiency that you speak of. What vitamins would cause this and do you know if taking procerin would fix this deficiency if it was just that. Also if the vitamin deficiency was corrected would the hair regrow? Thank you,
Craig
AskDocWeb: Yes, if your hair loss is caused by a vitamin deficiency and you start taking that vitamin your hair will start growing again. Some of the vitamins/nutrients required for health hair are Vitamin B-2, Vitamin B-6, Biotin, Folic acid, Inositol, Para Amino Benzoic Acid (Paba) and some fats.
Subj: 3 months now
Date: 2/19/2006
I’m 26 and have been taking Procerin and Advecia for 3 months now, 1 tablet of each in the morning, and again at night. I haven’t noticed any effects, if anything my hair line and receding appears worse. I wanted to ask if this dosage is adequate? Or would it be better just to stick to Procerin with the higher dosage?
Irfan
AskDocWeb: We suggest you follow the directions on the bottle. On our bottle it says to take 1 in the morning and 2 at night before sleeping. Reducing the dosage as you have been doing will reduce the results.
Subj: Saw palmetto
Date: 2/19/2006
Would taking 1500mg of saw palmetto be similar to using procerin?
Terry
AskDocWeb: It would be similar in that you would get the same amount of saw palmetto but you are not likely to get the same results. You would have to combine it with the same ingredients and process it the same way that the manufacturer did in order to get the same results.
Subj: Hair gel
Date: 2/21/2006
Hi! I’ve been taking Procerin for a little over a month now and so far have only noticed massive shedding. I just ran across your site today and I wanted to say thank you for putting this together, it’s made me feel alot better about my situation! I’m only 20 and I sure as HELL don’t want to be bald by the time I’m 21! Thanks to your site I have new confidence in the pills, cause I wasn’t feeling too confident when all I saw was increased loss! I also wanted to ask if using hair gel would alter the results at all. I gel my hair (or what’s left of it) every day and I hope that’s not negatively affecting my Procerin use.
Brian
AskDocWeb: No hair gel will not alter the results.
Subj: XT Serum?
Date: 2/22/2006
Umm… xt serum? Anybody using it? I’m scared to try it. I just ordered the pills and the serum but I don’t want to be forced to use the serum my entire life. Seems not worth it unless it REALLY works. Someone provide their experience using the xt serum please?

Subj: Missing pills

Is missing slots at weekends bad for your hair?
John
AskDocWeb: Yes it is, it can’t do it’s job if you don’t follow directions.
Subj: Seeing results
Date: 2/23/2006
I have been using procerin for about a month now. I started seeing results in as quickly as 2 weeks. This product seems to be working its magic on me. I only ordered the one bottle to try it out, I used the info I found on this site to help me to decide whether or not to use procerin, I’m glad I did. I will be ordering another 2 bottles. Thanks for all the info and feedback you make available to all of us balding men.

Subj: Burning feeling
Date: 2/25/2006
I just started got prpcerin in the mail today and used it. There is a mild burning feeling on my scalp. I want to shower it out! Does this burning tingle go away after a few days of use or will I feel this each time I apply the liquid?
Jake
AskDocWeb: Assuming that you are talking about the XT Serum, that is something we want to find out. That sensation seems to be common with topical hair loss products.
Subj: Hairloss

Dear sirs, I am a 45 year old male going thru a crisis with my hairloss. I recently went to my wife’s aunt’s home for supper and she commented on how much hair I lost since she last saw me before Christmas. I am going to buy the procerin because I feel very depressed and I need get back the hair that I have been losing for the past 10 plus years. I nearly went to the dermatologist last week. I have very limp and brittle thin hair and I am receding at an accelerating rate on my crown and hairline.

Subj: Tiny white hairs turned black
Date: 2/26/2006
Have used Procerin tabs alone for 4 weeks. At first nothing but then I “microanalyzed” my balding areas of my front scalp and saw tiny 1/8″ white hairs growing (don’t know if they were already present). From 4 weeks on I used Procerin tabs + topical Minoxidil 5% and noted that the white hairs are now black and slightly longer (1/8″ to 1/4″). Is this typical with Procerin and would this hair growth have become faster without Minoxidil 5%? Also, I have not noted any decreased hair follicle loss in the shower…is this also typical or is this the “shedding” phenomenon that some people experience. Thanks for your help. Polik
Polik
AskDocWeb: Losing some hair in the shower is typical (and normal). You are not likely to stop “all” hair loss, that’s probably impossible. The use of Minoxidil is more likely to help than hinder.
Subj: Ready to try something else
Date: 2/26/2006
I have used Propecia for my increasing “monks spot”; it made me impotent. I quit and it took 2 weeks to get back (in my 40’s at the time). Minoxidyl had no positive effect after 2 months and got full refund.
I had a hair transplant (surgery) for $2000+. It looked great for a short time but – as predicted- the trauma caused some new hair loss. But, the loss was not severe, and the transplant did keep new hair growing (albeit not thickly). After reading your articles on options, I will try Procerin.
