Subj: No effect
Date: 4/25/2006
I’m a 45 year old male with a receeding hair line. I have been taking procerin for two months, and have not experienced any new growth or stoppage of hair loss. I’m sending the remaining product in for my refund.

Subj: Rapid balding?
Date: 4/26/2006
Are there side effects, such as rapid balding after the use of Procerin?
Nathan
AskDocWeb: Not if you keep using it, but once you stop, your hair loss will resume and you will lose the hair that would have lost before you began procerin. That may seem like rapid hair loss but it only lasts until you loose the hair you would have lost anyway. This is true for all the hair loss products that work.
Subj: Gilbert’s disease
Date: 4/27/2006
Hi are there any implications that you know of using procerin when you have gilberts disease (liver problem)?
Peter
AskDocWeb: Whenever you are under a doctor’s care you should talk to your doctor about any supplements you are considering. In this case the only concern is what influence the saw palmetto might have on your liver.

Subj: Procerin with Propecia
Date: 4/28/2006
hi I have just started taking procerin I am also taking Propecia. Are there any side affects in using these products together?
Ryan
AskDocWeb: We haven’t heard of any problems but more doesn’t mean better or faster results. If you are using Propecia, we suggest that you stick with that single hair loss product until you are certain that you won’t have any sexual side effects, at least 6 months.
Subj: Female hair loss?
Date: 4/30/2006
As a 54 year old woman, would you recommend I try Procerin? I have generally diffuse hair loss behind my hair line –on top of my head ( I am told it is hormonal and a type of male pattern baldness).
Verona
AskDocWeb: It sounds like Procerin may be worth trying in your case. A few women have reported using it with good results.
Subj: Replaced Propecia with Procerin
Date: 4/30/2006
I was a Propecia user who found the high cost and side effects (possible elevated liver function–my sex drive didn’t change) a questionable trade-off for a great head of hair. It worked very well for me until my doctor wouldn’t refill my prescription due to a liver test. When I had gone off the medication my hair fell out very quickly along with an ugly rash as my sebum glands started up again with a vengeance. To avoid this, I started using Procerin exclusively and although I don’t have the fullness I enjoyed with Propecia, it has arrested my hair loss and there has been some regrowth. I’d say it’s 75% of what Propecia had been, without the side effects or the cost. It comes with my highest recommendation, either alone or in combination with other remedies. For the brief time that I took them together, I noticed no difference in my hair–but your results may vary and the additional cost of Procerin is minimal if you’re used to taking Propecia and its $70 a month price tag.

Subj: Seems to be working
Date: 5/1/2006
Hi, I have been using Procerin for about 2 months now and it seems to be working a little bit. I had been using Propecia for 4 years before and stopped using it because of sexual side effects. I don’t even believe that the Propecia made any difference in my hair loss. I wanted to Ask DocWeb if there are any side effects to Procerin and how is it that Procerin can actually work better than Propecia for some people since Propecia is what doctors prescribe their patients. Thank you.
Vinny
AskDocWeb: We don’t know “why” it works better for some people, just that it does.
Subj: On generic propecia
Date: 5/2/2006
I am 24 and have been loosing my hair along the entire length of my head for four years. I use to have very thick hair all over and now the top is thin only about three inches across the top of my head, and not at the temples. My hairline has almost all receeded for the first two inches and for the last eight months I have been on generic propecia. I have had little results from this product and have experienced sexual side effects. Before finding Procerin I ordered 3 more months of Propecia and will take this and stop propecia all together. Overall very unimpressed with the product.
I have also recently started the HCM EXT program where they provide a minoxidil and a supplement very similar to procerin. Including saw palmetto but with only 180 mg two times a day. They state that the program will stop hair loss and regrow hair, and after one year the client only has to use minoxidil to keep the hair that is grown. I have finally seen that the hair has stopped falling out and is generally healthier, but don’t believe that after one year results will remain without help, but I do wish I had started one year earlier.
As a result I have been using Procerin for two weeks now and with all the components together have only seen thin blonde hairs growing at my hairline. I have experienced a racing heart and indigestion with the procerin and taking it with food has help considerably.
I would like to here more feedback on whether or not this Procerin helps to regrow the hairline, and if anyone has been happy with hair transplants. I will probably keep using Procerin if I do see significant results, and do not recommend propecia to anyone the side effects Vs results are not very good, but not serious.

Subj: Advecia Vs Procerin
Date: 5/3/2006
Procerin or advecia, crown loss and if advecia, does advecia contains dht blockers Vs procerin… thank you,
Oliver
AskDocWeb: The DHT blocker in Advecia is Saw Palmetto but not as much as in Procerin.
Subj: Hairline is looking like it did before the loss
Date: 5/4/2006
I have had slow but sure hairloss for a number of years. My hairline has slowly been rising. I have tried a few over- the-counter products and have slowed hairloss. Then I began taking Procerin.
Six months and I did not see much until I upped the dose by 1/2. Amazingly, and for the first time since I was losing hair it actually began to grow back. Hair is filling the frontal spaces and the hairline is looking like it did before the loss. I am 52 and surprised. Up the dose to 1 and 1/2 and do it religiously.
For the first time in my life I can honestly say I am satisfied with the hair regrowth results.

Subj: Procerin feedback
Date: 5/4/2006
hi, I have been using procerin for 4 months now, I am 31 and have moderate to early stage hair loss and it seems to have worked for me. I have some new growth on my temples and small hair growth. Just a quick note, I only take 2 tablets at night, because I always forget the morning one. Also one side effect it does have it makes your urine very yellow, any reason? Thanks,
Suman (UK)
AskDocWeb: Many products do that, it’s nothing to be concerned about. You can read about urine colors here.
Subj: Baldness runs in family
Date: 5/6/2006
Hi, I am 25 years old, baldness runs in my family and have lost lots of hair, on top my scalp. If I start using procerin, will this product work for me? Thank you.
Mustafa
AskDocWeb: At 25 you are catching it early enough to do some good. We would give it a 7 out of 10 chance it will help.
Subj: Vitamins and hair questions?
Date: 5/7/2006
I’m 22 years old and have recently noticed my hair beginning to thin. A small receeding in the front and a balding vertex. I was reading about how certain vitamins could help restore and or create healthier hair? Is there a limit to which ones I should take? I’ve read that Vitamin B2, B6, B12, Folic Acid, PABA, and Inositil, can help restore hair. Should I only take certain ones? Or should I try and take all of them? Any feedback is greatly appreciated. I thought I would just try to take vitamins before I decide to try Procerin, thanks.
Trenton
I just wrote in about vitamins in aiding hair loss. I was at Target today and picked up a bottle of time release Vitamin B-50, and here is what it contains:
Vitamin B1 – 50mg 3,333%
Vitamin B2 – 50mg 2,941%
Vitamin B6 – 50mg 2,500%
Folic Acid – 400mcg 100%
Vitamin B12 – 50mcg 833%
Biotin – 50mcg 17%
I realize that the B vitamins with the Folic Acid and Biotin could help my hair. Should I just take this vitamin and see what happens or add more Biotin and PABA? Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks.
Trenton
AskDocWeb: You could start with the simple solution and find out if that works. Then if you don’t see results in three or four months you can add or try something else. Let us know how you come out.

I am 19 years old. I have been losing mine hair now for the past couple of years. I’m pretty good looking and I’m not sure what to do about it. I don’t know who I can ask for advise, if there is anybody on your end that can assist me it would be greatly appreciated.
Izzy
AskDocWeb: You can try procerin, it is all natural and specially formulated to block the production of DHT, the primary cause of hair loss in men. And it’s available without a prescription.

Subj: Help with shedding
Date: 5/11/2006
Hi, is there any other topical product that can be used to prevent shedding while using procerin? Maybe something to make the hair roots stronger? Thanks
Mark
AskDocWeb: Although it only has a one in five chance of helping with your shedding, you could try Monoxidil. Read more feedback about Procerin. Procerin Report – 29 – 30 – 31 – Page 32 – 33 – 34 – 35 – Last Page 80
Alternative hair loss products:
- Provillus
