Subj: Great results
Date: 7/10/2006
I’ve been using Procerin for just over 2 months now and already have seen great results. I am 34 years old and I had severe thinning on the entire top of my scalp with only a patch of hair towards the front of my scalp near the hairline. The rest of the top of my head (from vertex to hairline) was either completely bald or very thin. The bald areas are filling in and the thin areas are a lot thicker. My wife can’t believe it. When I first started my “regimen” (I’ll explain later) she rolled her eyes and chastised me for wasting my money. Now she keeps saying “I can’t believe it is working. I never thought in a million years this stuff would work”. While I myself was optimistic I never thought I’d see this much improvement this quickly. It started with little peach fuzz hairs and has progressed quickly into thicker, longer hairs. It isn’t yet as long or thick as the hair that I still had, but it is continuing to get thicker and longer. I’ll keep posting over the following months with an updated status.

As for my “regimen” I researched many products and decided to use multiples. While I agree with AskDocWeb’s stance that if you take multiple things you don’t know what worked, I also know that most of the time multiple products are needed to see the best results. The best part of my “regimen” is that nothing I’m taking should have side effects. If you are only trying to maintain or have only lost a little hair I would avoid the extra hassle and only take Procerin, but if you need modest growth or haven’t seen desired improvements and want to try what worked for me, here is my routine:

1: Before bed I put minoxidil 5% on the entire top of my head from vertex to hairline. I let it dry for 1-5 minutes (it isn’t completely dry by any means).

2: Then I add a very thin layer of Folligen, which promotes hair health. I let this dry for about an hour before bed as I watch TV or read. Be warned the Folligen will turn your pillow, and your head, green. Throw a towel around your pillow and you’ll be fine.

3: Now I take my 2 Procerin pills.

4: In the morning I rinse my hair, lather with Nizoral 1% and leave it on my scalp for 5 minutes while I wash the rest of myself. Keep it out of your eyes though.

5: After rinsing I dab my hair dry with a towel (no more scrubbing) and take 1 Procerin pill as instructed.

6: Occasionally (about once a week) I put more Minoxidil on in the morning, but most of the time I skip this as it leaves a residue on the scalp and you also have to wait for your scalp to completely dry before applying and that would make me late for work. I’m thinking of adding just .5ml to only the vertex in the mornings from now on.

All these products are fairly cheap. I buy the Walgreens Minoxidil and since I only use 1/2 the dosage it lasts twice as long. The Folligen cream has lasted over 2 months now, as has the Nizoral. The Procerin is the most expensive item and I’m able to get that from a great seller on eBay for less than $20/month. Good luck to everyone, and don’t give up the hope.

Subj: Hopeful
Date: 7/11/2006
I’m 49 and started using procerin on July 2nd and have a 6 month supply. I will post my first results after 3 months. I’m hoping it will not only stop the hair loss but also allow growth. Good luck to all.

Subj: Ordering more Procerin
Date: 7/11/2006
I ordered procerin for my husband because he was growing increasingly fine hair on the top of his head. Over the last five years or so (he’s 38 now) it got to the point that scalp was visible through his hair. No bald patches though.

He has been using procerin for 6 months now and I am about to order him another 3 months. The hair on the top of his head is less fine now and appears much denser. I have been cutting his hair for nearly 10 years so I should know.

I will submit before and after pictures soon. I will wait because he is able to wear his hair longer now (it used to be very, very short) so the comparison wouldn’t be fair at this point. I’ll send an “after” photo in when we decide to cut it really short again.

Subj: Just started but not sure
Date: 7/13/2006
I just started using Procesin last week. But I am not sure that this site is real with real people and not crafted data. Is there a way by which I can be sure?

James

AskDocWeb: The purpose of this website is to collect user feedback on health related products and share information about side effects. You could say that it’s all about side effects. There are hundreds of pages with comments from thousands of people and most of them (3/4th) have nothing to do with hair loss. If you use one of these product we want to hear if it has side effects or not.

You might take some time to read feedback about other products like Ambien, the sleep medication or Ultram, the pain medication. They have nothing to do with hair loss but people should know about the side effects before taking these drugs. That’s what we share here.

Subj: 7 weeks of Procerin
Date: 7/14/2006
I had written on May 19 after 10 days of use. By the way, I’m getting each bottle at $20 thru eBay (4 month supply). Hopefully, it’s not a scam of a scam! Here’s my update after 7 weeks of use:

After 2 weeks (soon after my first update), I experienced extreme shedding and thinning to the point I had to shave my head. When I’d let it grow in a little, I noticed my stronger hairs were even darker and thicker, making my thinning hairs even more obvious. The light peach fuzz (that people usually report) has come and gone a couple of times. Basically, the areas of my hair that were “hurting” got worse. And only now are coming back around with some expansion of the hairline. My crown area is still somewhat sparse. I just hope my “hurting” areas can catch up with the thicker areas (especially since the shedding made it worse). I just want an even head of hair, and so far Procerin looks promising but I’m not sold on it yet. And in all honesty, I’m not entirely sold on this website either. Please don’t take offense, cause only time will tell. And if Procerin is an honest product, and this is an honest website, then I will be singing your praises to everyone. Can we handle the truth?

Jimi

AskDocWeb: No offense is taken, but then you also need to be honest. How do you know if what you are taking is really Procerin? You should be aware that a large percentage of online fraud takes place on auction sites like eBay. If it is the real thing, hopefully it is not past the expiration date. And yes, all legitimate Procerin bottles are stamped with an expiration date.

Subj: Questions
Date: 7/17/2006
This isn’t a product review either; I also wasn’t sure where to ask my questions. I’ve been thinking about trying Procerin for a few months now, but I am concerned as to the legitimacy and integrity of the product’s ingredients. I’m always wary of products you can only purchase online – especially ones taken internally. Also, it isn’t a “mainstream” product (i.e., Rogaine) or a familiar company (i.e., a well known vitamin manufacture), so that makes me even more suspicious. How can we be sure Procerin’s ingredients are legit and not harmful? Is there a reliable source of proof out there? I have searched the Internet, but not found anything one way or another – which is more uncomforting than comforting. Do you feel confident in the legitimacy of Procerin’s ingredients? If so, why? Have you or anyone else found any reliable proof or respectable sources regarding the legitimacy and integrity of Procerin’s ingredients and/or the company itself? If so, please share with the rest of us. Also, do you know if there are any products that work for the hairline and not just the crown? I have some receding at my temples, and I would very much like to get it back if at all possible. Thanks.

-Dave

AskDocWeb: We had the same questions a couple of years ago, that’s why we did our own study. We invited users to share their experience with Procerin and they did. Using IP tracking, email tracing and other security measures, we made sure that all the feedback was legitimate. The men who used Procerin convinced us of the legitimacy of both the product and the company. Those who wanted refunds (about 30%) received them. The rest (about 70%) were pleased enough with the results to order more.

Subj: Revivogen
Date: 7/18/2006
I would just like to know if revivogen might be a more effective product than procerin. Thanks

Jamie

AskDocWeb: (Revised 5/24/07) If you are considering Revivogen, please read the disclaimer page on Revivogen’s website first.

Subj: Front hair line
Date: 7/19/2006
I’ve just started taking procerin a week ago, hopefully with good results. I was very enthusiastic about trying something for the first time. I just read a review that it doesn’t work on the front of your head. Is that true?? Because that’s where I’m losing hair. My hairline is receding on both sides in the front, but the back of my head is fine. Is this just a waste of time???

CJD

AskDocWeb: Maybe not. At first we didn’t recommend Procerin for the front hairline but since several men have reported getting good results in that area, it seems to be worth trying.

Subj: Highly satisfied
Date: 7/19/2006
I’m 23 years old and I started to get thining hair about 3 years ago. I tried rogain but it just burned my head. It worked for a little while but was not really that effective. I been on procerin (both pills and serum) for about a month and I have to say I am highly satisfied. I have hundreds of blond hairs growing all through out my head and some are getting darker. Last month it looked like I was going bald… now most people can’t tell! Simply amazing. My only concerns are the serum and tolerance. The serum seems to leave a sticky film on my head even after washing it with shampoo. I can’t imagine this would be good for the follicles. Also, as with any drug/supplement, doesn’t your body develop a tolerance to procerin after prolonged use?

David

AskDocWeb: Some people develop a tolerance and some don’t. People have such a wide range of responses that there is no way to tell beforehand who will develop a tolerance or when. Read more feedback about Procerin. Procerin Report 33 34 35
