Subj: Alex at one month
Date: 11/1/2006
Hi, I’ve been on Procerin (pills and serum) for about a month now, and I have honestly not seen any changes at all in the regrowth department. However I THINK my hair might have stopped falling out, I honestly don’t know, for my hair has never really fallen out that dramatically, but it has in a slow continuos manner. I read comments on this page and I see that some “lucky ones” have at least experienced the shedding phase, my question is, can hair start growing back skipping a noticeable shedding period? I also understand that it may take anywhere from 2 weeks to 2 months to really start noticing some changes, but when should I stop the treatment if it doesn’t work for me? And what actions can I take, should I increase the dosage? Do something different? (I have followed directions as instructed). How much longer should I wait? Please help AskDocWeb! I have before pics (and my hairline and vertex areas are still the same as they were a month ago, seriously no shedding and no regrowth) that I would like to share, how can I upload them if the product works for me by the end of the third month (I purchased the 3 month pack). Thanks a lot.

Alex
AskDocWeb: Only 20% of users reported shedding. Hopefully you’ll be in the other 80%. The pros and cons of using Pictures have been discussed before. Most people know that it’s easy to edit a photo and since we are not special effects experts, there is no way to tell if a photo is authentic or not. For that reason we decided against using them.

Subj: Men over 40
Date: 11/3/2006
I’ve read some of the feedback pages, but have not seen much regarding men over 40. I’m 47 and my question is: would I be wasting my time and should I leave well enough alone. I have a full head of hair except for my temples, which have receded quite a bit. Changing my haircut or style does not conceal it. From what I’ve read so far, it seems this product is better for younger men. What would be your advice? Thanks!

Carl

AskDocWeb: It does work better in younger men. Of those in your age group, 60% get good results with Procerin. Our advice is to make your own decision. If you can accept hair loss as a natural part of aging then leave it alone and let it happen. But, if you aren’t ready to give up yet then give Procerin a try.

Subj: Dandruff hair loss?
Date: 11/4/2006
Hello, I am 32 years old. Loosing hairs drastically, actually lost a lot all over my head (but not bald at any area). My question is, I also have drastic dandruff (dryness) problem especially in Fall/Winter time. I think and have been told that dandruff contributes significantly to hairloss, is it true and if I take Procerin will it help regain or retain my hairs? Your reply is highly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Going Bald

AskDocWeb: Procerin could help but if dandruff is the only cause of your hair loss you may just need a shampoo for that problem. The best one we found so far is Nisim Biofactors.

Subj: Procerin question
Date: 11/5/2006
Does Procerin work if hair loss/thinning is on the top of the head rather than a receding hairline in the forehead?

Andy

AskDocWeb: Both, many users have reported success with the top of the head, a few have reported good results with the hairline.

Subj: Hair follicle production of hair
Date: 11/6/2006
I am 26 and have just started to take Procerin. I have only been taking it for just over a week so obviously as of yet I have nothing to report. However I do have a question. I have heard that hair follicles, after finishing production of hair, can remain dormant for some time, but can resume regrowth using Procerin, however if the hair follicle has died then it is impossible to regrow. Is there any kind of time period that it takes for a hair follicle to completely die once finishing production of hair?

Chris

AskDocWeb: There is no known time period for that. Hair follicles seem to grow quite independent of one another. At any given time some of your hair follicles are thriving, some are dormant and some are dying.

Subj: Acne problem?
Date: 11/7/2006
I just ordered a 3 months supply of procerin and I’m scared to break out. I suffered from acne a year ago and took accutane. I read that some people taking propecia were breaking out and told myself that because procerin is not as strong as propecia it shouldn’t happen?

Chris

AskDocWeb: Procerin seems to be free of acne problems. There has one report about acne but in that case their acne cleared up after starting Procerin.

Subj: Hair on the sides?
Date: 11/8/2006
Hi. I am 24 years old and I have thinning all over my head. Also my hairline is receeding on both sides of the temple but I still do have some hair left on the sides but its less dense now. I ordered a 6 month supply and am using it for the last 2 weeks. So far nothing yet but still using. Will it help me have dense hair on the sides. I am using both the serum and tabs. I still do have thin hairs on the sides its just become less dense.

Dexter

AskDocWeb: Some have reported hair growth in the temple area and sides but we need more feedback from users about those areas.

Subj: Procerin pills and serum
Date: 11/9/2006
Last month I received my new 6 month supply of both pills and serum. One thing I noticed right way was that the pill is now smaller and a different color (more yellow now). The second thing I noticed and someone mention here was that the serum was sticky. At the time I said that mine wasn’t. Well, now I will agree, the new batch is very sticky and I don’t like it at all, even if it does work. I have a bottle at work (the last of the old batch) and you put it in your hair and a few minutes you comb it and all is fine, your hair is still soft and clean feeling. With the new batch, put it in your hair, comb it in a few minutes and it’s sticky as heck. Your hair is left hard feeling and sticky. Terrible.

At this point I don’t know what to do. I paid for the serum and as cheap as I am I’ll probably apply it at night only until it is used up. During the day I will not use it at all! Then I will no longer buy it. Pills only after that and I am wondering about the pills. Maybe the change in size and color has to do with the factory getting rid of the ginsing (I believe that is what they got rid of). I just hope that now that the factory has gotten a “fan” base they don’t decide to make a cheaper product. I might add that reading a few of the previous posts I must say that if your still losing hair when you shower then this product just isn’t working for you. After two months of use hair going down the drain should be much, much less. I had tons of hair going down the drain until I started using Procerin, that is the only reason I am still using it today but I am not happy with the serum at this point at all.

Subj: Afraid to use it
Date: 11/12/2006
I recently purchased a bottle of procerin and now I’m afraid to use it after reading this website. Does scalpmed work?

Jason

AskDocWeb: Make sure that you’re not confusing Procerin (recommended) with the drug Propecia (not recommended). The names are similar but Propecia has some scary side effects where Procerin has almost none. We do not recommend Scalpmed.

Subj: XT serum is Sticky
Date: 11/13/2006
Well, I finally decided. The new XT serum I just received in my 6 month supply of pills/XT really sinks. Sticky, sticky, sticky. At first I figured (since I paid for it) that I would only use it at night. I can’t even stand that. Just way to sticky for my taste. If I want that I would be using hair spray also. Basically at this point I have a 6 month supply of sticky garbage.

Herb

AskDocWeb: That seems to be the consensus, Procerin pills yes, but XT serum is not recommended. Read more feedback about Procerin. Procerin Report 38 39 40Page 41 42 43 44Last Page 80
