Subj: Nisim hair stimulating extract
Date: 1/31/2007
Hey I was planning on buying a some bottles of procerin pills and I seen u said that the best combination observed were these pills with Nisim Biofactors shampoo. Well from what I’ve read I don’t want to use the sticky XT serum. Basically I was wondering if u also should use Nisim hair stimulating extract along w/the shampoo or if u are just saying procerin pills w/Nisim Biofactors shampoo and u don’t need the extract. I’m just a little confused on what would be the best option.

Jeff

AskDocWeb: We don’t have feedback on the extract yet so there’s no recommendation on it one way or another. If you use it let us know what you think.

Subj: Procerin with Rogaine 5%?
Date: 1/31/2007
Having used Procerin pills for more than eight months, I have no hair re-growth to report. At best Procerin has strengthened my hair and perhaps prevented further hair loss. I have recently began to use Rogaine 5% in addition to Procerin. My main hairloss is at the crown. Have you had positive feedback from men who have combined these products?

Mark

AskDocWeb: Yes, several men have reported good results from combining Rogaine with Procerin.

Subj: XT serum on 4-year-old
Date: 1/31/2007
My 4 year old daughter knocked over a near full bottle of the XT serum and stepped in the puddle… should I be concerned that she got the serum on her bare feet?! please advise!

Dallas

AskDocWeb: No, we wouldn’t be concerned about it. A single application is not enough to do anything.

Subj: Shaved head?
Date: 2/1/2007
Would you recommend Procerin (or any other product for that matter) for someone who shaves their head regularly? I’m a mid-20’s male with pretty severe balding on the front of the head, hairline, and temples. I started shaving my head a few years ago and am perfectly happy with the look. However, at this point I feel I have nothing to lose (except a few $$$’s) so I might as well try one of these products. Procerin seems the least risky. However, can I continue to shave my head (at least on the sides) while I use it? Thanks in advance…

Scott

AskDocWeb: You could use Procerin but if you’re happy with a shaved head, why bother?

Subj: Procerin with Bioxcin?
Date: 2/2/2007
Hi, it has been 3 days since I started Procerin. I am also using a shampoo called Bioxcin which is an anti-hair-loss shampoo. Would this be okay? I will let you know the result at the end of the third month.

Selim

AskDocWeb: There is no feedback on Bioxcin so you’ll just have to try it but it would be great if you could let us know what you think of that shampoo.

Subj: Considering using Procerin
Date: 2/2/2007
I am 21 years old and considering using Procerin. However I am concerned about side effects that may come with every single dht inhibitor. I have been taking Propecia for 5 months and have noticed an inability to remember things and a bit of decreased libido. The mental side effects scare me the most right now as I just landed my dream job. Is procerin safe? Is there any supplements that can be taking while taking these hairloss drugs in order to reduce side effects. Thanks! Great Site!

Gus

AskDocWeb: Sorry Gus, we know of no supplement that can reduce the side effects of Propecia. Keep in mind that there is a big difference between Propecia and Procerin. Propecia is a prescription drug, which means that it is dangerous enough that you need a doctor’s permission before using it. The greatest danger (in our opinion) is in the possibility of causing birth defects. That danger does not exist with Procerin, which is a supplement, not a drug. Procerin doesn’t inhibit DHT as much as Propecia and there are far fewer side effects. Most men don’t experience any side effects with Procerin, which is one of the reasons why we recommend it.

Subj: Chances of regrowth
Date: 2/5/2007
I just ordered Procerin & the NISIM NewHair BioFactors Shampoo and Hair Stimulating Extract Combo. My question is… Can I use all of these together? Will this improve my chances of regrowth or eliminating hair loss, or worsen it?
michael

AskDocWeb: Yes, you improve your chances by using them together.

Subj: Procerin seems to work pretty well
Date: 2/7/2007
I’ve been taking procerin along with the serum for about 5 weeks now and I’ve noticed a definite improvement in the thickness of my hair, along with tiny black and blond hairs above my temples. Although it’s hard to tell if these hairs are new, or they’re what’s left over from my old hair… Either way, the pills seem to work pretty well. The serum is harder to test but I know that it runs down my face and it smells weird…

Subj: Reportings on Procerin
Date: 2/7/2007
Please provide me with your most recent reportings on Procerin i.e., does it really work, newfound side effects.

Brad

AskDocWeb: Yes, it really works (for 7 out of 10) and no new side effects have been reported.

Subj: Fewer hairs in the shower
Date: 2/8/2007
I’m 18 and I’ve been experiencing recession of my hairline for about a year. I started to use procerin 2 weeks ago and although there’s a slight stinging sensation when applied I’m noticing considerately fewer hairs in the shower and the sink. We’ll see if this continues.

Subj: Procerin delivery?
Date: 2/10/2007
I live with my parents still because I’m going to college. I’m 22 years old and have noticed receding at the temple area. How can I buy Procerin without delivery. It is a 90% chance someone else would get the mail and I really don’t want everyone to know I’m losing my hair. How can I pick it up or buy it in store or at doctor’s office. I live in St. Louis, MO Thanks

Dave

AskDocWeb: If you have a close friend you might have it delivered to their house. As far as we know, it’s only available online.

Subj: Shedding
Date: 2/12/2007
Hello, I wandering if you could help me out. I have been on procerin for almost 2 months and in the last 2 weeks I have been rapidly losing heaps of hair. I mean easy a handful is this the shedding stage cause if it is its pretty nasty. I can’t believe how much hair I have lost and was wandering will this stop and become better, it has too right? How long does this shedding thing last for and have people reported good results after or not?

Evan

AskDocWeb: About one in twenty Procerin users reported shedding. The shortest amount of time the shedding was reported to last was one week, the longest it lasted was 2 months. Those who waited out the shedding said it was worth it and that things improved after that.

Subj: Sudden hair loss
Date: 2/13/2007
When I was about 19 my hair began to fall out very rapidly. It was almost like I was shedding. What ever it was it scared me. I had to do something to stop it. After about 3 months I went to HCM. They sold me on some hair shampoos and things that didn’t seem to help. A couple of months later I was doing some research on Propecia. After reading about DHT and all that I figured I would give it a try. I started taking it when I was about 20. It took about 3 months to see a change but it made a drastic difference. I stopped shedding, my hair felt healthier, and some even grew back. I was amazed by this product. Obviously DHT was causing my hair loss.

Everything was great until I was about 21. That’s when I started getting some of the sexual side affects from Propecia. My sex drive decreased and it was hard to get an erection. I took it for almost another year until I was about 22. I decided to quit and just see what would happen. In about a week my sexual problems disappeared. Obviously Propecia was to blame. Well, when I was around 23 my hair started falling out again (around a year later). So I decided to start Propecia again. It started working it’s magic and I started having sexual side effects again. Well after taking it for about a year again. I found this website. Did a little research on Procerin and wanted to give it a try. I ordered just one month of pills to give it a try. I got to admit I was very skeptic about it, but to my surprise it works! I started seeing results after about 2 weeks. My hair feels thicker, looks thicker, and seems to be growing back even better than with it did with Propecia and without the sexual side effects. Another perk is the $ I’m saving. I was totally surprised by this product. I’m on my second month of Procerin already and I plan to keep using it unless something changes. I strongly recommend anyone interested in keeping their hair to give Procerin a try. All you have to lose is $30 bucks or more hair that you’re already losing. By the way, this website helped me tremendously. Thank you, and keep up the good work!

Subj: Exercise and hair loss
Date: 2/14/2007
Hi. I’m 19, and been experiencing thinning of my hairline for about 6 months now. I’ve been using the procerin tablets for a week now, and it’s too soon to tell. I’m experiencing the stomach discomfort that the website talked about, but its not big deal. My question is with regard to exercise. I know that testosterone produces DHT. I work out about 3 times a week, but I don’t take supplements of any kind. I wanted to know if my workout habits will make it more difficult for my hair to hopefully begin to grow back.

Dany

AskDocWeb: Several men have written about that but so far, we have been unable to find reliable data regarding hair loss and exercise. If you find any be sure to post a link. Read more feedback about Procerin. Procerin Report 43 44 45
