Subj: Conclusion
Date: 10/16/2007
I see you have a conclusion here. Is there a place with all of your conclusions that would show which ones had the best overall results? Or if not, which one did receive the best overall results?
David
AskDocWeb: Our conclusion is that enough men have reported success with Procerin that it is worth trying. If it doesn’t work you can get your money back but don’t try that with Minoxidil or Propecia. Money spent on those two is gone for good. Whatever you try let us know so that others can benefit from your experience.
Subj: Will be buying more
Date: 10/18/2007
I started taking Procerin about 4 months ago, about a month in I also started taking Propecia. I got to the point that I was fairly happy with my “hair retention” so stopped taking procerin at the end of the 3 months (figured Propecia was doing the business). Now I am shedding more than ever, so will be buying more and will see how that goes (if in a couple of months time that stops I either end up sticking with both or will try stopping Propecia for a while)

Subj: Hairloss shampoo?
Date: 10/25/2007
Hi, I know there are many causes of hairloss, I am 26 and I was wondering can a hairloss shampoo stop hairloss and encourage hair re-growth if my hairloss is that type. As you know most hairloss products say it covers all area of hairloss etc. but for me its only very small on front left and right of my front and small on the my top back.
Jasonx
AskDocWeb: A hair loss shampoo may stop you from losing any more hair but it is not likely to regenerate hair growth. You might have better luck using Minoxidil in those spots, at least for a while.
Subj: Two or three hairs on pillow every night
Date: 10/26/2007
Hi everyone, have to say great forum with great information. I am a 26 year old white male living in Ireland. For the past four months I have noticed my hair shedding namely when I put product in I pull hair out and two to three hairs on my pillow every night. I have checked family history and no one has hair loss on either side and all have full heads of hair into their 70s? I am starting on procerin next week but wonder should I bother or is it my anxiety towards hair loss that is simply stirring it on? Should I see my GP or just take it anyway?
Paul
AskDocWeb: Finding two or three hairs on your pillow is not something to be concerned about, that sounds like normal hair loss. We wouldn’t take it unless you think hair loss has started.
Subj: Success in re-growing hair
Date: 11/6/2007
I have used Procerin for about three months. I have had success in re-growing hair on the front and top of my scalp. Thanks for the information contained here.

Subj: Health food stores?
Date: 11/6/2007
Is Procerin available in health food stores, yet?
Ron
AskDocWeb: As far as we know it is only available on the Internet.
Subj: Just started

I just received my procerin pills w/ the serum and the nisim shampoo. Before I used to sit at a table and just do a few strokes through my hair and watch about 20 hair strands fall on the table. So today before I went to work I took a shower used the nisim shampoo after I dried my hair I took 1 pill and applied the serum which is not that bad. The smell goes away as it dries up and if you have a nice calogne on, even you will not notice it there. So about 4 or 5 hours after I took the shower I sat at the same table I always sit at work as I played with my hair I noticed not 1 hair fell out through out the whole day contrary to any other day before that where I see hair just shedding all over the place. I’m 18 and have maybe half a inch on each corner of my hair line receding more on the right and also have thinning hair and a developing bald spot. I will give you guys an update after 1 month of use of all three products and let you know how it goes. Wednesday 10-7-2007 is when I started…

Subj: Theoretically
Date: 11/8/2007
I’m a pharmacy student who is doing a little research for my boyfriend who is experiencing premature hair loss. Just wanted to throw out there that finasteride (Propecia) should not be use concurrently with Procerin. There might not be a lot of established evidence to prove a harmful interaction, but theoretically they do the same thing and can have the same side effects. Most reputable drug indexes will advise you not to use the two together. Ask a doc or a pharmacist before taking any herbal supplements, because they aren’t regulated by the FDA and can have serious side effects and drug interactions. Not saying procerin is a bad product, just always do your research and ask a professional.
Stephanie
AskDocWeb: If you are taking a prescription drug, it’s always a good idea to consult with your doctor before ingesting any herbs. Be sure to check the ingredient list in any herbal remedy that you try. Some herbs interact with medication.
Subj: Don’t like the serum
Date: 11/14/2007
I’ve been using procerin for about 2 months now and I’ve seen a decrease in hairloss. The only bad thing I don’t like about it is the serum. it feels like I’m putting olive oil in my hair. I’m 19 and I have long (metal style) hair. The serum makes my hair look even thinner than it is right now. I’ve read the last few pages of this forum and I saw where you said “look back to page xy” for some people’s questions. My question is which pages have you posted feedback on the serum, whether it good or bad. Is using the pills alone helpful?
Rob
AskDocWeb: Yes, the study we conducted was with the pills alone and 7 out of 10 men found the pills helpful. You can find feedback about the XT Serum on pages 30, 31, 33, 34, 35, 36, 37, 38, 39, 40, 41, 44, 46, 47, 49, 52, and 53. Overall the XT Serum seems to be getting better reviews over time.
Subj: Happy with the results then stopped taking it
Date: 11/15/2007
I recently turned 20, though my hair looks more like that of a 30 year old man. I started taking procerin when I was a Senior in High School and granted I only used the pill form and missed a day here and there, I noticed my hair got thicker and stopped falling out, as well as considerable regrowth all-round within 5-6 months. I was happy with the results and sort of stopped taking it only to see my hair start to fall out again, so now I’m using the treatment again and considering using it with the new Rogaine foam. I read the earlier review about using revivogen with rogaine and procerin and didn’t understand what you meant when you said “I guess you didn’t read the disclaimer on revivogen’s website”. Is it unsafe to use all three together?
Andy
AskDocWeb: We have a low opinion of revivogen and do not recommend it.
Subj: Hair loss problem
Date: 11/16/2007
I have a hair loss problem, I will order a 3 month supply of procerin and I will see what happens.
Sunney
Subj: Any complaints?
Date: 11/17/2007
Is there any risk in ordering from the website? I only do transactions through PayPal and am leery. Have there been any complaints?
Paul
AskDocWeb: There was one complaint when a customer sent email to the order desk when he wanted customer service but that was resolved when her got the right email address. Customer service: support@procerin.com
Subj: Pills combined with the XT serum?
Date: 11/20/2007
21 year old male whose hairline has been receding at an alarming rate for about 2 years now. Pretty sure I’m going to try Procerin but am not sure if it’s best to order just the pills or the pills combined with the XT serum. The Procerin site says it’s best to use both together but was wondering if most people having success with the product are just using the pills. Many thanks in advance. Keep up the good work.
James
AskDocWeb: At this point we still recommend just the pills but that may change if the feedback from those taking both keeps improving. Read more feedback about Procerin. Procerin Report – 51 – 52 – 53 – Page 54 – 55 – 56 – 57 – Last Page 80
