Subj: How do you know?
Date: 3/15/2004
Question: How do you know that the “opinions” in your feedback section are genuine and not either people paid to say good stuff about this drug or employees of the company marketing their product? What’s to stop companies from coming to websites like this one where ordinary people come for advice and snowballing us with glowing reports about their drugs? How can we trust what’s written here?
Joe
AskDocWeb: In most cases it is just not cost effective (or good business) for companies to try that. There are several ways to identify where feedback comes from, who sends it and it’s easy to catch. It might be worth a hand full of sales but they would be taking a chance of getting caught and worse, exposed as the type of company that would do such a thing. And we would nail them worse than we did Avacor.
On the other hand, even if we didn’t watch for such things (although we do), there would still be the negative feedback from real users.
Subj: Procerin and minodoxil
Date: 3/16/2004
I have been taking procerin for a month now and I have also been using minodoxil called lacovin. I haven’t seen any results so far and my hair is still falling out.

Subj: Confusion
Date: 3/20/2004
I have a question for you! According to the a montly newsletter that I belong too, which gives the lastest facts on saw palmetto they are more or less indicating it is a total scam and is derived from a snake oil. From what I understand it is a marketing scam to lures peoples money. I have enclosed a copy of the response I was sent when asking about Procerin. I would like your opinion whether you belief this to be fact based. I am on my second month of procerin with no regrowth yet. I believe I shed at first and have maintained my hair count since.
Dan
AskDocWeb: Your confusion is understandable as they state their opinions as if they were facts. They wrote about two other products (which do not contain saw palmetto) and then put down Procerin as not having clinical data. We already knew about the lack of clinical data. That’s why we are doing the Procerin Study. We suspect it was a sales pitch for those other products.
Subj: Going to order
Date: 3/21/2004
I’m going to order a 6 month supply of procerin and if that doesn’t work i’m going to start shaving my head. Is it true that shaving your head will make you go bald faster?
TED
AskDocWeb: No, shaving doesn’t stop the hair growth on the face, neck or legs. There is nothing to indicate that it would stop hair growth on the scalp.
Subj: Taking Procerin with Revivogen.
Date: 3/23/2004
I have been on Procerin for about 2-3 weeks and have to say that I have noticed some regrowth around the frontal region. I have recently ordered a 3 month supply of Revivogen after reading positive reviews on it. However, I understand that Revivogen contains Saw Palmetto as well. Does applying it topically effect the Saw Palmetto taken orally through Procerin?
K’man
AskDocWeb: (Revised 5/24/07) Sounds like you haven’t read the disclaimer page on Revivogen’s website.

Subj: Concentration or short term memory
Date: 3/22/2004
I am a 26 yr. old male, I have had thinning hair and a receding hairline for about 4 years now. I have been taking Procerin for 3 weeks now and haven’t noticed any change, yet. I will continue taking procerin in hopes that even if I can’t regrow hair- the remaining hair will continue to grow. Can you please tell me of any side affects relating to concentration or short term memory? Thank you for your time…
Rich
AskDocWeb: A few people have reported problems with concentration but you are the first to bring up short-term memory. Are you experiencing any problems with memory?
Subj: Updates
Date: 3/22/2004
How come there haven`t been any updated feedbacks posted since 3/13/04 is the study over or no-one has been writing in? Just started taking it and concerned to see what has been going on with the others who have been taking it.
Frank
AskDocWeb: We took a couple weeks off for vacation and now we get to do the catch-up. This is going to happen from time to time. We all need to get away once in a while.
Subj: Speedwinds Nutrition
Date: 3/24/2004
I had a question about procerin. How come I can’t find any information about the manufacture? Do you know anything about Speedwinds Nutrition, maybe a website? Your feed back would be great, thank you.
Mark
AskDocWeb: We found records of their doing business since September, 2002 and they have addresses for two locations; Portland, Oregon and Moscow, Idaho. The only websites we found for them were for the products they make. One for Procerin and one for another product called Sytropin. That’s an oral spray for stimulating the body’s production of HGH (Human Growth Hormone) (source: Sytropin product information – Feedback on Sytropin).
Subj: Procerin and Vig-Rx
Date: 3/24/2004
Can I take Procerin and Vig-Rx at the same time. I’ve looked at both and they have some of the same ingredients. I wondering if it will be safe or not.
Keith
AskDocWeb: We have no feedback from anyone on this yet but, we would caution you to note the total amount of saw palmetto and watch for side effects. Stomach upset has been reported from taking large amounts saw palmetto (more than 3,000mg). There are also a few health concerns that should be considered before using saw palmetto.
Subj: Every 8 hours?
Date: 3/24/2004
Is it possible to take one pill every 8 hours instead of 1 at morning and 2 at bed time?
Reza
AskDocWeb: Sure. The intention is to spread out the daily dosage over time to minimize possible side effects. If you can remember to take one of them in the middle of the day, instead of 2 at night, that’s probably better.
Subj: 2 months – Jean
Date: 3/28/2004
I’m a 23yr old Male and have been loosing hair for about 3 years now. I was using Prescription Minoxidil for about 1 year and that wasn’t too bad – helped keep the hair from falling but didn’t see any regrowth. I stopped using it because it was giving me headaches and would make me dizzy some times. For the last year I have been using Nioxin hair shampoo cleanser it’s suppose to improve the quality of the hair but I have yet to see it.
About 2 months ago I discovered your website and after reading about Procerin decided to order it and I have been using it for about 2 months now, I take 1 tablet in morning 2 at nights (I’m still using the Nioxin). So far I really haven’t seen any change in the quality of my hair nor have I see any regrowth and haven’t experienced any side effects. I still have a lot of hopes with Procerin. I’m hoping I’m apart of the 88% success rate that Procerin claims to have.
If a month later I still don’t see any results (which will make it a total of 3 months that I will be using this product) should I order another 3 months supply and keep the flow going. Because I know that different people will get different results using this product, it’s just I don’t want to give up it too soon. Maybe with me I’ll start seeing results in the 4th or 5th month?
Jean
AskDocWeb: We would hold on to hope up until the 6th month. In our opinion, if you haven’t seen results by then, you probably won’t.
Subj: 2 months – Luke
Date: 3/28/2004
I’ve been taking procerin for about 2 months now, for the first month it was working great, but about a month in a half in I’m losing a lot of hair and noticing some thinning at the top, but my hairline seems to be getting better, any reasons why this could be happening?
Luke
AskDocWeb: We don’t have a reason for it but several people have reported a period of shedding that lasts 4 to 5 weeks.
Subj: New user – Lydon
Date: 3/29/2004
I have just ordered my 3 month supply of procerin. I am 37 years old who had 2 micrograph hair transplantation in the last 7 years for 2 sessions. I am still losing hair like everyone else, so I am looking forward to see the result what this vitamin will provide. I’ll keep everyone posted for my result for the next few months.

Subj: Taking other pills with procerin
Date: 4/1/2004
I lift weights and take Amino acid pills/creatine. Will taking these pills counter the procerin? Is there any danger of taking other pills with procerin? I normally wait about one hour after taking procerin to take my Amino pills and creatine. Please advise.
Dutz
AskDocWeb: We have not heard of any problems with combining other supplements with Procerin. If you discover one, please let us know.

Who can say me what is better. Use procerin with propecia or procerin with advecia? Do you think that is better use procerin with another product like procecia or advecia?
Rafael
AskDocWeb: At this point we don’t have a recommendation. Propecia is proven to work but one user in 50 has sexual side effects. We are still looking at Procerin. That study will end in June and we plan on posting results in July.
Subj: Erections
Date: 4/7/2004
I have been taking your product for almost a year now. I have had problems keeping an erection…I am worried that it may be the procerin pills…I have read that there are no sexual side affects..but what if there is??? Please answer….
Kevin
AskDocWeb: Procerin is not our product. It is just one of many products that we review here. The simple solution would be to stop taking it for a while and find out if this makes a difference. Be sure to let us know what you find out as others would also like to know about this.
Subj: Very excited
Date: 4/10/2004
I’m 36 and I’ve been using Monoxidi 5% twice daily for 4 years now. It’s fair to say that it has certainly slowed down my receeding hairline and thickened up what hair I have. There’s been some regrowth at my temples though not as much as I’d hoped for. I’ve just purchased three months worth of Procerin as I decided I wanted to tackle the problem systemically. I’ve read everything I can on the ingredients and it seems they’ve really got it down to a fine art. I’m optomistic and will continue to use the Monoxidil with the Procerin. I’ll post again with my progress. I’m very excited about it, couldn’t wait to get started! If you’re in the same boat. Good luck guys. Regards
Chris (London – UK)
Subj: Results?
Date: 4/13/2004
I just order the 30 day supply, should I get soon result in 30 day time?
Joe
AskDocWeb: Some men have reported results that soon, some take longer and for some, it doesn’t work. We hope that you are one of those it works for and encourage you to come back to let us know how you come out.
Subj: late bloomer
Date: 4/13/2004
I just turned 18 and have been experiencing moderate hairloss (i.e. thinning all over but especially in a line going from the back to front of my head and receding hairline, but much more dramatically on the left than right side). Even though it says it’s safe to take at 18, if I was a late bloomer and feel like I am still growing, what are the risks to taking it before I am fully developed?
Chris
AskDocWeb: You are probably more likely to have side effects like upset stomach and/or headache.
Subj: Cold laser therapy
Date: 4/14/2004
I am a 23 year old male, and just took my first pill of procerin. I have for the past 3 months also been undergoing cold laser therapy to combat hair loss. I am wondering if you’ve heard anything about the cold laser therapy in conjunction with procerin. Thanks.
Brian
AskDocWeb: Not in conjunction with Procerin. Maybe you could share your experience with us. Read more feedback about Procerin
