Subj: Abnormal heart beat
Date: 11/13/2008
I see some users have abnormal heart beat after using this because the main ingredient of this product is Saw palmetto. But can Saw palmetto cause serious heart disease?
Dunpeal
AskDocWeb: Although a few men have reported abnormal heart beat or palpitations while taking saw palmetto, we have seen no evidence to suggest that it might cause any heart disease.
Subj: Shedding
Date: 11/14/2008
I have been using procerin for about 3 1/2 weeks now and I have noticed a little shedding of my thinner follicles. I was wondering if shedding is a possible side affect for the first few weeks and if so should that hair grow back?
Shedding
AskDocWeb: Yes, shedding during the first few weeks has been reported to occur with all of the hair loss products that we’ve looked at. It doesn’t happen to everyone but it is common.
Subj: Quick question
Date: 11/18/2008
As the main ingredient of procerin is Saw Palmetto…I read that the main ingredient of Saw P. is beta-sitosterol, chemically similar to cholesterol…this is worrying me a lot, please explain. Compliments to this blog I found it very helpful!!
Suan
AskDocWeb: Remember that “chemically similar” does not mean that it is the same thing. In this case that similarity works in your favor. Beta-sitosterol’s close chemical resemblance to cholesterol allows it to be incorporated into mammal cellular membranes which blocks the absorption of cholesterol by competitive inhibition. Although beta-sitosterol is not well absorbed by the body, when consumed with cholesterol it effectively blocks cholesterol’s absorption, resulting in lower serum cholesterol levels. Beta-sitosterol has been shown to favorably influence lipoprotein (HDL, LDL) profiles. Beta-sitosterol is available as a cholesterol-lowering drug, although they had to make it 3000 times stronger in order to make it clinically effective. The amount you get in Procerin is miniscule by comparison.

Hello, I am a 17 and I suffer from male pattern baldness. I’m very interested with Procerin and Provillus. My friend also want it but he is a vegetarian and he want to know if the capsules in both products are contain animal ingredient or not.
ALex
AskDocWeb: Yes, the last time we looked both products come in gelatin capsules which of course are made from animal products.
Subj: XT Serum works very well
Date: 12/2/2008
Hey thanks for all the reviews they’ve been helpful. I know there hasn’t been a whole lot of feedback about the new XT Serum but I’d like to let you all know that it works very well. I took just the pills for 6 months and noticed a complete stop in hair loss, but no new growth. I recently added the serum and I’ve seen peach fuzz all over my hairline in just one week. It really is exciting. Hope this helps.

Subj: Good product

This is good product, I like it and used it for three months.
Bob
AskDocWeb: Do you like it because it works or what?
Subj: Buy procerin?
Date: 12/11/2008
I only do transaction via PayPal. Can I buy procerin from the other site such as eBay?
Zul
AskDocWeb: As far as we know the Procerin website takes PayPal. We don’t recommend eBay because you never know how old the product may be that is being sold.
Subj: Good results
Date: 12/24/2008
I am 25 years old and have been taking procerin for 2 years, I only take two at night time and I have had good results. I have very fine hair that didn’t have much volume. I noticed alot of hair on my pillow at nigh time, Once I started procerin my hair stylist was the first to notice the re growth, I have no bald spots at this point and a full head of hair. I have my fingers crossed that it continues to assist in hair growth and hair volume.

Subj: Hair has got thicker
Date: 1/3/2009
Hi, I am 25 and have receeding hair for the last year. I spoke with the advanced hair studio guys and they confirmed that my hair was thinning on the sides and to an extent the back. The loss has created the classic m shape if you are looking at me from the front. I have been using Nism biofactors for the last 4 weeks and my hair has got thicker. I have also ordered 3 months supply of Procerin tablets and nutrofolica shampoo as a combo. I am going to try this and see how it goes and I will keep you all posted. It was a decision between procerin and provillus which seem to be the most favoured out on the market. The major difference between the two appears to be the cost as procerin combo came in at £44 and then provillus for 4-6months is more like £100 (depending upon exchange rates £=$). fingers crossed.

Subj: M shaped baldness and PayPal?
Date: 1/4/2009
Halo, I am Malaysian…and I have problem with my M shaped baldness…can procerin treat this kind of baldness?? I do not have credit card to order it…can I order it using paypal? Is there any other way of delivery?
Shawn
AskDocWeb: If what you call M shaped baldness is what we refer to as a receding hairline, there have been a few reports of success but not enough for us to recommend it for that. As far as we know they take PayPal.
Subj: Weight loss pills?
Date: 1/6/2009
I have a question. Can you take procerin and weight loss pills such as Ripped Fuel or Hydroxycut at the same time?
Jack
AskDocWeb: There have been no reports of any problems with using diet pills with Procerin.
Subj: Where to purchase Procerin
Date: 1/18/2009
I am facing this problem. I stay in Dubai. Can I found somewhere here to purchase?
Zeshan
AskDocWeb: As far as we know it is only available online.
Subj: Had some hair regrowth
Date: 1/21/2009
Hello, I’m a 23 year old male of Asian descent. I noticed my forehead started getting bigger… soon, I realized that it wasn’t my forehead growing, but rather, my hair line receding. My grandfather on my mother’s side is bald, but my father has a full head of hair still (thin, but still full head of hair). So, after getting the information on Procerin on this great website, I decided to try it out… with the 3 month money back guarantee, I thought, “why not?” I’ve been taking Procerin for about 2-3 weeks now (skipped a few days here and there). I noticed just the other day, after about 2 weeks of use that I’ve been growing very tiny hair in the area where I used to have hair on my forehead. They are very tiny, fine hairs… but they seem to be growing.
I’ve also read that red bell peppers boiled in water, then cooled for 15 minutes, then applied to the scalp will help hair regrowth. I’ve tried doing this about 3 times, but I don’t know if it’s been helping at all. Too few times to know whether it’s making a difference or not. I’ve also been sleeping with no pillow for about 2-3 weeks, on and off. I hear that it’s supposed to help blood flow better to the head while sleeping, and it’s also supposed to rejuvenate you. So far, I haven’t noticed a big difference in rejuvenation, but I have had some hair regrowth, so as the weeks go by, I’ll experiment. All this might be contributors to the hair regrowth. However, I am happy to report that Procerin seems to be working, somewhat, with the combination of the other things that I’m doing. I will update again in about a month or so, and hopefully continually on my progress with procerin… I’ll also experiment. I hope this review helps others who are suffering from a receding hairline! ~

Subj: Let’s keep fighting
Date: 2/1/2009
I am 29 years old (30 in March) and noticed thinning about 3 months ago although I have been losing hair for probably around 4 – 5 years, I just chose to ignore it. My hair certainly feels thinner and when I take a picture with a flash I can see scalp. I started Propecia but after a week I started to get testicular pain so decided to quit that and try Procerin. I have now been taking Procerin since 10th January 2009 (3 weeks)and I still notice some hairloss in the bath after washing my hair and about 3 – 4 strands when styling my hair. Last week I added Nisim Biofacotrs into my regime in addition to Nizoral once a week. My results… I think there is less hairfall and my hair is feeling better along with my scalp, although I can see my scalp has got some dandruffs. I think it is probably too early to tell and sometimes I think my hair looks thinner then other days I think it looks better. (good and bad hair days I suppose) I shall continue taking Procerin for the full 3 months and shall report back on progress made. Side Effects – been suffering with daily headaches but I think this maybe related to my job and computer screen. Other than that nothing to be concerned about. Balding – lets keep fighting, it is only a matter of time before a cure is released and we can all once again live in harmony.
Andy
AskDocWeb: Remember that no matter what product you use, you can’t stop all hair loss, losing a little each day is normal.
Subj: Replace Propecia with Procerin?
Date: 2/3/2009
Hello, I am using propecia for hair loss since last 2 months. It helped me to stop hair loss and regrow new hair. But as it has some sexual side effects, can I replace propecia with the Procerin?
Nil
AskDocWeb: Several men have reported doing that and we are still collecting feedback from those men to assess the results. If you try it, please share your result with the rest of the guys here.
Subj: Combining products?
Date: 2/3/2009
Hi all! I’m using for 2 days the Procerin tablets with the serum XT, no problems at all, only a small stomach ache at first day. I use the serum at night before sleep because the greasy look and the stinky smell. My question is: Can I use the tablets and the topical serum XT with nisin biofactors products?
Hugo
AskDocWeb: That stinky smell has been reported by others here and seems to be something that you just have to put up with in order to get the benefits. We wouldn’t mix the products together but have no problem with using the Nisim Biofactors first and then the topical XT serum after that.
