Getaway Grey
8/9/2012
As Procerin and getaway grey both contain saw palmetto, would it be safe? Are the two sets of ingredients dangerous when taken together/in the same day?

T

AskDocWeb: Getaway Grey contains 300mg of saw palmetto and they recommend taking two per day for a total of 600mg. Procerin contains 500mg per capsule with a recommended three per day for a total of 1500mg. It appears that if you used both together in the same day you would get a total of 2100mg of saw palmetto (1.8 grams). According to Herbal Supplementation: Practical Guidelines for the Clinician: “Saw palmetto’s initial starting dose should be in the range of one to two grams per day…” That’s 1000mg to 2000mg daily. If you are already using one or the other and have been doing so for some time then your body has already adjusted to the initial dose. Just be sure to observe the safety warnings for saw palmetto.

My hair fluctuation
8/15/2012
I have been using procerin for about 5 months now, and have observed quite a bit in my hair fluctuation. I am 23 years old, and starting researching hair loss products after noticing my hair falling on my desk for a few months at my cubicle. I thought it was stress related (work was picking up) but I soon noticed that the loss was in the typical male pattern baldness fashion, with my hair receding at the temples. I ordered the 3 month trial and noticed after a couple months that, while it did not seem like my hair was regrowing at the temple areas where my receding was occurring, my hair was growing in thicker. I ordered a 3 month renewal to get a better gauge on the product, and this is where my questions arise. The shipment of tablets I received came in the usual container with the same labels. However, the tablets themselves were I lighter shade of yellowish/green, with a less pungent aroma. Also, there was a little pouch amongst the pills that was supposed to keep the moisture within the container. I did not observe any of this in the previous batch, but continued taking the pills nonetheless. Now, two months later, I have noticed that my hair is shedding more rapidly. This is not only in my hairline, but it is diffusing all around my scalp. There are now days where I notice 50-100 hairs fall out in one work day alone. I am asking if you have any insight on why this batch of procerin tablets is not doing the trick (defective?). Has procerin changed the way they package their product? I have been taking 3-4 pills a day. Thank you in advance for your insight

Brian

AskDocWeb: We know that they have changed their product a couple of times in the past. When it first came out Procerin was in the form of pills, which was later changed to capsules and back to pills. The little pouch sounds like something new has been added but there is no feedback yet about other changes they may have made. Keep us posted.

Silica gel packet
8/15/2012
I just spoke with a representative and Procerin failed to notify the public that they altered their tablets. Apparently the ingredients are the same, but there is now a silica gel packet within the container. The pills are definitely not as pungent or strong in my opinion, and I have noticed that my hair loss has began to pick up in earnest after subsiding during the first 3-4 months of talking the old version of the pills.

Water or juice?
8/21/2012
Is it integral to take the pills with water as stated on the package? This is probably a dumb question, but I usually take them with juice. I hope that had not effected the ability of the product.

Anthony

AskDocWeb: Most juices are not known to make any differences in effectiveness. The only one that might be a problem is grapefruit juice, which is known to effect some medications such as Lipitor. We “might be” because the combination of grapefruit juice and Procerin has not been researched.

Suggestion for hair fall
9/5/2012
Hi.. I have an average hair growing phase..but i can see hair fall and hair getting thiner day by day.. could you please suggest me which is best minioxidle15% or procerin.

Mayank

AskDocWeb: Our best suggestion is to get the Provillus complete solution, which has both topical minoxidil and an oral supplement with the same active ingredients as Procerin.

Shampoo?
9/6/2012
Hi, im 25 im suffering from frontal hair loss mainly at the temples. I just ordered procerin both pills and foam, then after found this web site. Do you think procerin is my best option to stop further loss and potentially start regrowth? And would you recommend me adding a shampoo? Thanks,

Matt.

AskDocWeb: Procerin may not be the best choice but it is one choice that works for many men. Since you already have it you might as well find out how well it works for you. We recommend giving any hair loss product at least 3 months before evaluating whether or not hair is starting to come back. Adding a shampoo that supports hair growth also makes sense. The only one that we’ve seen that appears worth recommending is Nisim Biofactors.

Switching hair loss products
9/17/2012
I’m torn between procerin and propecia. Propecia seems to have the higher success rate however procerin wins on side effects and price. Would it be ok to try procerin for 6 months or so and then switch to propecia if I can’t see any progress? If I did stop taking procerin at this time, would I experience any extreme and sudden lost of hair during the switchover?

Sid

AskDocWeb: If Procerin had caused the growth of new hair then there is the possibility that you would lose that hair. However since that would take place over several months the Propecia is likely to counteract that loss.

Prescription drugs
10/11/2012
hello doc is it ok to take prescription drugs with procerin….

Sheldon

AskDocWeb: There are over 55 drugs that are known to interact with saw palmetto, the main ingredient in Procerin. For this reason it is best to check with your doctor before using Procerin if you are using prescription medication.

Is Procerin available in India?
10/30/2012
I want to know that whether Procerin is available in India or not?

Abhishek

AskDocWeb: Yes, it is available over the Internet. The last time we checked Speedwinds ships world-wide except for Iran, Saudi Arabia, Algeria, and Uzbekistan. Procerin Report 73 74 75 76 77 78Page 79Last Page 80
