Subj: How much danger?
Date: 9/6/2007
I have to have the radioactive iodine because my doc found nodules. He said I have to stop taking my synthroid for 4 weeks. My question is how much danger is that to stop taking it for that long? When I don’t have it, all I want to do is sleep, its like every thing shuts down on me. Thank you,

Sherry

Subj: Osteoarthritis
Date: 4/2/2009
I have noticed, as Sherry has, if I don’t take my medication I become lethargic. Right now, I am at 112 micrograms but have begun to notice joint pain. I read somewhere but haven’t been able to confirm it, but the medication can cause osteo artheritis. Does anyone else have this problem or know of anyone who does?
