I’ve been using Thymuskin for about three months now. I haven’t noticed regrowth at this point, but my hair looks healthier. I’ve read that although the company promises results after three months, anecdotally the number appears to be closer to six. That being said, at this point I’ve been satisfied enough with the product to order another three months worth. I’m 27 and have been thinning since I was 21 or so.

I’ve been using Thymuskin Shampoo and treatment lotion for 6 months now and my hair continues to thin substantially. I’m 51. Despite any claims in advertising, the treatment instructions with the packaging say that results should be visible in twelve to eighteen months. I’ll continue with it, but it doesn’t look hopeful.

I have been using the Thymuskin Shampoo, creme rinse, lotion, and night time gel now for 1 month along with Procerin for 6 months. I started with Propecia, Procerin and Rogaine and have just backed off the Propecia and Rogaine after 6 months with no regrowth and more side effects.

Although, I haven’t seen any regrowth at this time, my hair does look healthier from using Thymuskin and my hair has grown fast in length. The only side effect that I’m having is a bad case of dandruff.

The instructions say that after 2 months of using the shampoo everyday, to start using it every other day. Maybe that will help with my dandruff then but until then, I will give this product a chance. I’m hoping for the day when one of my old friends comes up to me and tells me that for some reason, I look great.

Subj: Short hairs growing
Date: 11/23/2006
After losing my hair for almost 3 years I started using the Thymuskin Gel and Shampoo 5 months ago. It may be a coincidence however last month I noticed short hairs growing all over my head. The hair is about an inch long. I will continue to use the Thymuskin. I use it a few times a week.

Hello, about 5 months ago I started using Thymuskin. After losing my hair for over 3 years I was willing to try anything. While it did take 4 months to begin to see a difference I can now see new hairs coming in and my hair is no longer coming out by the handful. This may be a coincidence, I am not a doctor however nothing else was working before I tried this. Thank you,

Does anyone have any more information on the Thymuskin? Does it actually work? I would appreciate it if I could get some feedback on this product. Also, why is not recommended for use by AskDocWeb?

Eric

AskDocWeb: So far the feedback seems to be about half for and half against this hair loss product. There was a problem that made them appear dishonest but that turned out to be bad management. Since they resolved the issue to our satisfaction we removed them from the scam list. Thymuskin is sold through a Canadian business, Fabaocanada.

Subj: Thymuskin expensive but worth the cost
Date: 2/22/2007
I posted my feedback in November 06, it is now Feb 07, (regarding Thymuskin) stating that not only had my hair stopped falling out by the handful but I was noticing short hair growing all over. It is continuing to work and I just ordered another supply of it. It is expensive however well worth the cost since I am no longer losing my hair. From what I have read about Thymuskin, it works for about 95% of the women while working about 65 to 75% for the men. I would use it just to stop my hair from falling out by the handful, the texture of my hair has also improved. The fact that I am actually growing new hair is a plus for me. Thank you.

Subj: Thymuskin is a good choice
Date: 4/11/2007
I have a disease called Alopecia Areata. It weakens the immune system and causes bald patches. The dermatologist tried steroid injections and they did not work. In fact, my hair loss got worse. Then, I found Thymuskin on the Internet. Within 8 months all of my hair returned. I think Thymuskin is a good choice if you are a victim of Alopecia. You can even stop using it after you get your hair back.

Solved dandruff but lost more hair . No signs of regrowth. Verdict: Easy to use product but not delivering after 6 months.

Subj: excellent results
Date: 7/17/2007
I am seeing excellent results with Thymuskin. I wish that it worked faster but I was told that age may play a role in the timing of the new hair growth. That would explain why it has taken me about 9 months to see noticeable improvement. By the way, I am in my early fifties. I intend to keep using for the recommended 12 to 18 months. I will report back later if you will permit me to share my final comments. Thanks.

Subj: New hair growth
Date: 9/2/2007
I too recently got diagnosed with alopecia areata and have started to use Thymuskin to treat the bald patches I have. I’ve only used the product for a little over a month, but I have noticed that there is new hair growth in the bald patches. However, the new hair has been very light and fine in appearance and very short (almost stubbly). I’m being very optimistic about the results and hope to continue to see more prominent hair growth in these areas.

Subj: Changed for the better
Date: 9/15/2007
I just started using Thymuskin about 2 weeks ago. I have been suffering from Alopecia Areata since I was 13. I am now 36. The product gets your scalp and hair extremely clean. I did already have small sprouts of hair in the areas where I am balding. However, those hairs as well as the rest of my hair have changed for the better in texture. That’s impressive that it has that kind of affect in such a short time. However, the product is expensive. Later when I can afford it I will purchase the gel as I hear it is the most effective and I believe essential in regrowing hair. Time and memory permitting I will give an update in 3 months.

Subj: No improvements
Date: 9/26/2007
I have used Thymuskin shampoo, treatment and gel for over a year with no improvements to my Androgenic Alopecia. It may be usefull for other types of Alopecia, but not Adrogeni Alopecia. Most of the improvements (if any) are most likely caused the great amount of vigorous rubbing needed to apply the product which helps increase blood flow. And not the product itself. We seem to be paying much more attention to hair detail while using the product and seem to see new hairs. But after many months, we can’t see a difference. I remember seeing new very slim pale hairs and thought that these were new hairs, but finally realized that it was actually my original hairs that had gotten smaller and not old hair getting thicker. I guess we look for the positives when there are no alternatives.

Subj: Thymuskin and Rogaine?
Date: 12/7/2007
Is it ok to use it while I’m using rogaine?

Albert

AskDocWeb: We would not mix them but using each on alternate days should not cause any problems.

Subj: Poor diet and high stress levels
Date: 12/8/2007
Well I don’t know if it works or not (too expensive to try at the moment) but based on their published studies (see the pdf document on their website) I believe that Thymuskin is likely more effective for ladies than men, as Dorene said earlier. Also, its effectiveness may also be based on how long the thinning or loss has occurred, and under what circumstances. In myself (30) I see a direct correlation between poor diet and high stress levels during times of greatest hair loss. I guess Scripture was on to something when it said not to worry, b/c it doesn’t change anything and because stress is bad for us…fretting really can lead to bad things, even sickness! (Luke 12:22-31, Psalm 37:8) For we have no power over how our hair will grow out or even how tall we will be (Matt. 5:36, 6:27) and yet, God cares enough about us to even number our very hairs! (Luke 12:7). ‘Course that’s hard to take when we’re losing hair, but I must say that it’s not all as bad as we think: at least we don’t have to spend hours drying and styling a thick mane, and we’re more able to spend time doing other things. Gals, I know it’s hard! My mom, aunt, grandma and I all have hair loss issues. But we are realizing that we DO have other things going FOR US, and that we can still be beautiful and good at things we care about w/o having to look like a Pantene model (who probably has hair-extensions put in!). And guys: us ladies who know that testosterone causes hair loss aren’t as turned off by hair loss as you think; actually, it’s kinda sexy (I’m a fan of the buzzed look myself…and manly men!)
